BFP or AF due 19th January

Really enjoyed being on the Christmas day testing thread even though I was out before the 25th. I thought it would be good to start another thread for peoplw to join me in the TWW since the January buses are such a long period and some people are 14dpo and some like me are counting down the hours to the TWW. I ovulate on Friday 4th or Saturday 5th. Opks are very low at the moment but hoping to catch a surge. Still trying to DTD everyday (we are newlyweds), keep forgetting to take our vitamins and to use preseed but hoping just to get lucky on our second cycle.

@Soexciting I'm sure you're on the same sort of dates for me, I'm DPO8 so just keep staying positive, it's probably too early to test. Just try to hold out a little bit longer and keep staying positive!!

Me & DP had mmc back in May 2018. Due to some issues that arose after it we weren't able to ttc until December. Currently just over half way thru our 2WW and AF due on Friday 18th. Fingers crossed for us all!! 💞

I am starving too but just did a test and BFN. Starting to think all the symptoms are psychological. I feel so utterly crap. I know we are not out until AF shows but if I am feeling nauseous and tired and sore I should be positive and if I am not then surely there is not enough of the hormone in my system to be making me feel like this.
Feeling very sorry for myself and very hungry Sad

It's getting to the bit I hate! First week of tww is fine for me because I categorically know it's to early to POAS but 10 days dpo tomorrow so urge getting greater. Have 6 FRERs burning a whole in my bathroom cabinet! Hoping to wait till Wednesday.

No symptoms so far except for being a absolutely ravenous. Just ate over half a French baguette with cheese, could eat again to be honest! Confused

@ohio91 I'm not keeping any tests in the house now! Have decided if no AF by Thursday I'll get one! We live in the middle of nowhere so getting tests is a journey, so much easier to resist! Also, every time I've been convinced I'm preg they've been negative so it's just disappointing! Metallic taste sounds promising for you though... fingers crossed!

In the night for some reason I feel preg but in the morning I don't at all really! Confused

@ange211 I had a metallic taste yesterday! Happened three separate times during the day and didn't stay for long and haven't had it again today. So not sure if I can really count that as relevant or not, but I've never had it in my life before lol it was pretty gross!

@glowingtwigs my AF is due on Wednesday too. So far I've tested twice and both have been negative of course... I tell myself I won't test again till Tuesday but even I know that ain't gonna happen. I wish I had some poas self control lol.

I can't stop eating! Hoping it's a genuine symptom, but not getting my hopes up. I don't feel pregnant.

I have managed to ignore all symptoms today as I have convinced myself it is not going to happen this month, I just have a feeling I am not.

Still took a test this morning though, I need to stop!

I'm 11dpo tomorrow and that's when I got a BFP before... but really going to try and wait for AF this time and not test... the stark, white squares are so disappointing and crushing. AF due Wednesday...

@ange211 hmmm, yes I had nausea, dizzy moments, needing to pee all the time about half way through the month. I have no idea what's too early or not as new to this TTC properly and never been pregnant!
@sal1987 just waiting for AF sounds v sensible actually! Hope you get BFP soon x

I'm just getting symptoms I have had before and had a bfn or symptoms I can give other reasons for. I'm not getting my hopes up as I have had them dashed so many times, I have dealt with so many bfn tests I just find it better to wait for at as I can sort of feel it coming anyway so I prepare myself for the worst (I do have a little cry in private and then dig deep to be strong again!!) just hope you all get your bfp and don't have to go through months of what I have!!

I have what feels like normal af cramps but intermittent nausea (too early surely?) & a metallic taste (only symptom with ds1) but I don't "feel" pregnant :( guess I'll know soon x

I'll test in the morning. I got OPKs to use next cycle if no BFP. I don't feel different other than more relaxed and sleeping well! Sore boobs but I get that before AF anyway.

I tested this morning. It was one of the tests with the lines. DH thought it was a faint line, I thought maybe it was an evap line.
So more waiting! Due on 16th/17th so not sure whether to test before or wait until AF is due. I’m impatient!!

So exciting @ange211 I don't think I could resist testing if I was so close. I just debated buying a test in Sainsbury's because my boobs hurt and I am away for the weekend and left my FRERs at home.
Hoping for lots of BFPs as we all head into the second week xxx

Af due on the 14th so not long to wait but its been agonising.
Just trying to stay busy and pee straight away in the morning so I'm not tempted lol.

I am definitely wishing away the days. My boobs feel funny but not enough to be a true sign, I don't get very sore boobs before AF so it is promising and I hope it develops.
My likely implantation date is Sunday so hoping for next week to be full of sore boobs vomiting and fatigue! I have planned nice "dry January" friendly activities all next week so hopefully that will take my mind off it all.

That's the problem isn't it User258... You just start wishing away the days until you either finally get that BFP or you can start the next cycle!

I am on a similar time frame with AF due around 17th Jan. This is cycle 6 and it is driving me mad! DTD every other day this month but also Clear Blue Ovulation Tracker every morning from CD 6 to CD 20 with not a single smiley (cycles between 25 and 31 days) so not sure what that is about but I don't have a good feeling about a BFP this month! I drink a lot of water so I am hoping that this is the only reason and its not that I didn't ovulate! Going to start temping next cycle if no luck! Not having any symptoms different to previous months so putting the slight lower back pain and stomach aches down to AF approaching and my imagination!

Symptom spotting here too - I've had a funny bloaty feeling today, which was one of my earliest symptoms the last time I was pregnant. But it definitely wasn't this early, and it's got to be too soon to be pregnancy related. Argh!

@soexciting oh they could be promising signs! Symptom spotting is the worst haha, I promised myself I wouldn't but I totally have!! I'm about 8-10 dpo I think... Took a test this morning and negative of course because it's too early but I had to settle myself and just do one! Earlier in work I randomly had a taste in my mouth that was literally like blood/pennies. Never experienced it in my life. It only lasted about 5 mins. I know that can be a sign but I'm not trying to get my hopes up. Been crampy some days but no sign of IB, but I know it doesn't happen to everyone. I think I'll test again on Monday. Thats roughly when I'm due af.
