And @Blueowlstar maybe another test on Tues?
I've decided to wait until later in the week, I've got some PMT symptoms today so am being sensible. (Today's decision, no idea what I'll think tomorrow!)

Naughtysausage · 19/01/2019 18:13

@Sleepyhead11 I'd try again perhaps on Monday morning (first thing). What test were you using and how late are you?

And it's meant kindly, but don't put any deadlines on it. I wouldn't worry what decade it's born in. 20's sound cooler than teens anyway!

Sleepyhead11 · 19/01/2019 17:44

Blueowlstar I think you still have a chance for this month right? It's horrible though. I am just beginning to understand how crazy this can make you. There is always February, and March and April and so many other months if not this one.

I'd like a baby this decade though. (Isn't it scary that babies conceived past March will be in next decade?)

Sleepyhead11 · 19/01/2019 17:38

Hello, hope it's OK to join? I came onto Jan bus but left as we decided to not really try until we have more information due to health issues (I have an AI disease and wanted me information) but we did have unprotected sex once (just once) in Dec.

My period is now really late. I keep thinking it can't be, and I took a test on Thursday which was negative, but I took it in the afternoon and had drank pints and pints of water. Period still isn't here, and am wondering if it's possible? I would love to be pregnant, this has made me realise how much I want it, but at the same time I think it's so bloody unlikely.

Do I test again? Could I have diluted urine by drinking so much water (I have sjogrens among other things so need to drink pints and pints every day.)

Just wondering if I'm being silly. Trying so hard to focus on other things. (Work, my ambition to write, exercising, spending time with DP, making house lovely) but it's like my thoughts keep swivelling back to this. It's not normal to be this late.

Naughtysausage · 19/01/2019 10:51

@Blueowlstar bad luck.

Blueowlstar · 19/01/2019 08:59

Well ladies, I tested this morning at 10dpo with a first response test and BFN. I’m still holding out hope as I can see that a lot of tests even with first response didn’t show as positive until 12-14dpo. Sending you all luck for yours.

Butterfliesandroses · 18/01/2019 21:00

@blueowlstar fingers crossed for you tomorrow!! Also for you @naughtysausage if you do decide to test. My rationale is exactly the same as yours due to hopefulness x

Nay08 · 18/01/2019 20:27

@blueowlstar thank you, fingers crossed! Ive had cramping intermittently for the last 3 days so i am hoping something is happening. Today is my last day on provera so heres hoping. Im back to the doctors on Monday to get my boods taken and a vaginal exam done to check everything else out too. I am concerned though as my mother has PCOS, so just a waiting game now.

Naughtysausage · 18/01/2019 20:19

@Butterfliesandroses I think I'm leaning that way as my hopefulness is rising everyday and I think it might be less sad to nip that in the bud.

@Blueowlstar fingers crossed for you! Please do let us know.

Blueowlstar · 18/01/2019 18:47

@naughtysausage I am testing tomorrow morning at 10dpo. I can’t wait any longer and I have been crampy today as well as feeling a little nauseous but it could all be in my mind as I’m looking out for any symptom lol! I will let you know how it goes tomorrow! Fx for us all xx

Butterfliesandroses · 18/01/2019 18:28

@naughtysausage I'm not sure - I've never had the willpower to wait! We are on cycle 3. Last two months the bfn's mentally prepared me for AF's arrival though. I guess everyone's different so you should do what you feel is right x

Naughtysausage · 18/01/2019 18:10

Tomorrow is 10dpo. The urge to test is real. But I was going to wait for AF and then if significantly late I'd test. But I don't know what would be least disappointing - a bfn or af? What does everyone think?

Butterfliesandroses · 18/01/2019 15:37

@hmib I'm on cd19, 7dpo. I'm planning to test on 10dpo as I've seen on Fertility Friend that most people got theirs as early as that. Fingers crossed!!

Love the idea that this could be a lucky thread!

HMIB · 18/01/2019 13:44

@Tiddley25 well I'm using the ovulation test strips daily and they've started to get darker. I'm on cd14 so it really should be any day now!! I always say I'll hold out 2 weeks to test but never last and test 9dpo 😂. But 2 times they've been positive by then! So we'll see!!

It really does feel like each day Is dragging though! Desperately trying to keep myself occupied! X

Tiddley25 · 18/01/2019 13:32

@hmib I’m on cycle day 20 and 5dpo. I’m with you there!!! So bloody Impatient. Everyday feels like a lifetime doesn’t it 😂 well I have no symptoms yet I know some people get it this early on but nothing yet but all I remember from my last pregnancy was being really bloated by the time I tested positive! I’m going to test at 12dpo if I can hold out 😂👍🏻 How about you? X

HMIB · 18/01/2019 13:11

Ahh I'm getting really inpatient waiting for ovulation. Should be any day now! It's my first cycle since having my DS (he's 15 months) so I'm not too sure on cycle length.

What CD Is every one on and when are you going to test?! 😊.

Blueowlstar · 17/01/2019 09:52

@tiddley25 ah thank you so much! I will have all my fx for you too! There has been a few people by the looks of it with BFP on this thread so let’s hope it’s a lucky thread. Will keep you updated. It is so nice to know we are all going through the same thing. I think I would be going mad otherwise x

Tiddley25 · 17/01/2019 09:47

@blueowlstar don’t be disheartened by a negetive like you said it’s early days yet so probably wouldn’t show 👍🏻 I’ve been buying Asda tests as they are extra sensitive but much cheaper and can test from 4 days before missed period but I’m trying to hold out until next Friday when I will be 12dpo. But I’m a POAS aholic!! So will be hard to hold out!

Please let us know how it goes next week really hope you get your BFP xx

Blueowlstar · 17/01/2019 09:42

@tiddley25 I am taking a stab in the dark that I would be due on around next Wednesday/Thursday! So I’m about 7 days away from AF. I actually did a test this morning, I didn’t expect anything to show yet but I’ve seen a few posts where people tested early and they had faint lines. Needless to say there was nothing on mine. I’ve just bought a first response so will aim to test on Sunday morning when I’ll
Be 11dpo. How about you?

Tiddley25 · 17/01/2019 09:18

@blueowlstar thanks for your reply 😊 I know it’s so lovely to have people in the same boat to be able to talk to about it all! We didn’t tell anyone we were TTC with my miscarriage but a lot of our close friends and family knew we were pregnant so now kind of expect me to be pregnant soon which is putting extra pressure on me. I’m so impatient I have 10 days until period is due and it feels like a lifetime! When are you going to test? X

Blueowlstar · 17/01/2019 07:40

Welcome @Tiddley25 and @Nay08 :)

It’s so nice to have people to talk to as my husband and I haven’t told anyone that we are TTC.

I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage @tiddley25 but lovely to hear you are trying again. Hopefully this cycle will be the one for you.

@nay08 I too was on microgynon for 15 years although I came off when I fell pregnant on it with my now 6 year old and once he was born went back on it. Came off 23rd Dec to TTC and I have no idea what my cycles will be like but I got a positive OPK on 9th Jan and pain in my left ovary so assumed that I did ovulate. Now it’s just the wait! I did read that it can take a few months For your periods to return to normal after being on the pill so hopefully that will be what is happening with you.

Nay08 · 16/01/2019 23:10

Hi! Thought id join! TTC #1 with my OH - came off pill in September, no periods or positive OPK's since. Currently on provera to see if that induces anything, fed up of waiting for AF to arrive so i can have an idea of what my body is doing! Wish we were told this when going on it - 15 years on Microgynon 30. Have also only told my sister, no one else knows we are TTC. So its nice to have you ladies to talk to! Baby dust to you all :)

Tiddley25 · 16/01/2019 13:55

Hi can I join this group! Currently in cycle 4 of TTC after an early miscarriage in October last year. I have an 18 month old so we are trying for baby number 2. So frustrating as I have never had trouble conceiving, I get pregnant really quick and so being 4 cycles in is really taking its toll on me. I’m currently on CD18 and have been using OPK’s this month. I had a positive on CD14 and have been DTD everyday from cycle day 8 onwards, every other before then! Due my period on 27th jan and really going to try and resist testing until 12dpo atleast! Don’t think I can bare another bfn 😩 x

Blueowlstar · 15/01/2019 16:27

@naughtysausage that’s a great way to look at Smile I am so impatient though and really just want to know one way or the other!

I am now 6dpo and getting a heavy feeling in my uterus area, does anyone else have the same? Also boobs are slightly painful every now and again, nipples still very painful. Am I just reading too much into these signs?

HMIB · 15/01/2019 10:59

@Naughtysausage ha! I think I'm totally crazy for wanting number 5! Me and DH are so out numbered already what's one more eh? 😂

This Is also my first month trying! I'm one of the late ones though as I don't ovulate until the 24th! X
