The dreaded 2ww

So I'm not sure if the food in my fridge is off (xmas leftovers) or this could be a symptom...? Tried to eat Brie & chutney on a cracker and it tasted awful then ate some yogurt to take the taste away and it was super sour today and it wasn't yesterday? Any ideas? Super saw boobs today too! I'm 8dop and going to wait till Saturday to poas as I always wait till the weekend because I'm not sure I could concentrate at work with a bfp freak out?!?

Still got mega sore boobs, have had a couple of waves of nausea today and feel totally wiped out like I could sleep for a week. AF due Saturday, so trying to control myself and hold out to POAS at the weekend

Thanks @knobjockey for replying.... Even I had 2 kids quiet early..... I think not caring about TTC is the best strategy....My only worry is that I will be 40 in 5 months and that doesn't make things easier

I just POAS at 6DPO obviously it was a BFN which I knew but I feel like I’ve got it out of my system. TTC is making me crazy!!

@LillianFullStop thank you! Don't throw your money away just yet, it will be negative and you'll only feel down and test again anyway.

I think I'm going to head to the shop and get a word one on the way home, anyone know where they're the cheapest? I think it will make it a bit more believable for DP, this will be his first child and he's desperate for it to happen.

@Evug1234 I'm 33- I started young with my daughter! I haven't taken anything, although I should probably start with some folic acid now I suppose. I'm sorry it's been hard for you- we had to get to the stage where I stopped thinking about it at all, and not be on the threads, as it is very hard not to be too caught up in it, which was making it much worse. I didn't even realise I was due my period on Monday to be honest, I thought I had another week as I haven't been on my app since I logged my December period.

Fuck, it's 2 lines! I'm 2 days late, but didn't track ovulation last month, didn't even think I'd had sex the right week as we're doing a house renovation and we were knackered! Need to go home and tell DP. Am I mad? I have a soon to be 15 year old, life on an even keel, we had the coil taken out in April so thought it wasn't going to happen and I was pretty okay with that...and now I've got 2 lines

Hi all! How are all the BFP ladies feeling? Hope all ok.

I am also counting myself out for this month. I've had really bad cramps and spotting the last day or so and I think AF is on her way.

Although I'm sad, it's not so bad as I've been 'looking forward' to having a proper AF as it's my first since my loss (12 weeks ago!). So in some ways it will be good to have a proper 'clear out' and start a fresh next cycle. Fx.

Fingers crossed for everyone still hoping for a BFP this month! If not see you next month!

This is only my first month activley trying, I have so much respect for everyone who's been doing this for awhile.
I was miserable last night, husband firmly in the firing line, probably PMS but I don't normally want to rip his head off! I need to develop some patience or find a hobby to distract me for the next few days.

I'll jump in here....congratulations for the bfps.....indeed a lucky thread.....l am 9 dpo tested today and a bfn.... Maybe it's too early

@backawayfatty this is my first yes. I’m so desperate to be pregnant it’s consuming me!!! I had a chemical pregnancy last month so I think my body is all over the place. I did ovulate though this month so hopefully it will happen soon!!
@attybones you sound like me!! I have had to ask google to translate too 😂
I’d wait till you’re late to test from my experience! You end up spending a fortune on tests and end up disappointed! I did tests last month and it didn’t register positive till 20 days PO (past ovulation) then was negative again after 5 days. My doctor said testing so early and regularly meant I may not of known I’d been pregnant and would of saved myself the stress! Good luck to you!!

Hello! I'm 6dpo, hy did no one warn me about the tww?! Pleased there are lots of other people in the same boat, I feel like I'm going slightly insane! (My husband agrees)The days are dragging by.
What's the earliest I could test? Or is it best to wait till the day I'm due on.
Also being new to this completely, including forums, is there an acronym dictionary somewhere, as I've had to Google the lingo!

This is my first cycle after my MMC at 9 weeks. Want to be pregnant but can imagine I'll be very stressed which I'm not looking forward too!

I'm another 4dpo trying not to get too excited as had a chemical pregnancy before Christmas which was hard to going to wait as long as I can before caving and poas
