So I have some news in that I took a test this morning and it was a definite positive. The cliche that you can get pregnant you first month off the pill is true! I’m now in a whole new world of panic worrying that it won’t stick but it’s good news for all us straight off the pill girls :) x

I came off cerezette on Nov 30th I have had no AF or withdrawal bleed- that was 56 days ago.
I have had all sorts of symptoms, nausea, bloating, pains all over the place. I had back ache for 3 weeks non stop. Pains where it felt like AF, mood swings, really bad headaches , acne. You name it, I've had it accept for an actual withdrawal bleed or AF.
Been to see my nurse and all of this is normal.......
It is just a waiting game- which doesn't rely help.

I've been off the mini pill for 3 weeks now, have been on it for 12 years and had horrific periods before so wasn't looking forward to coming off it. Since being off though I've had very little in the way of symptoms. AF never turned up, I had one day where I was very nauseous but no problems since. Very surprised at that. Starting to drive me crazy as I'm looking out for every symptom possible that AF is on its way and because I'm not sure if I'm going to ovulate on time it's all a bit confusing.

Been off the pill since November but not trying until around Xmas time. Decided to come off it earlier as last time cycles were a riot. Anything from 26 days to 44 days which was very frustrating! I was always symptom spotting convinced I was pregnant 😂🙄

This time my first cycle was 33 days and second cycle 30 days. I'm supposed to be ovulating over the next few days according to my app so🤞🏻Good luck to you all!

Please can someone help me! Two weeks off my pill (cerazette) I have the worst stomach cramps it feels like I’m carrying a house brick in my womb that’s trying to come out!!! No bleeding whatsoever but I’m in agony! Pain killers arnt helping and I’m starting to feel very sick from the pain! Has anyone else experienced anything like this?? Any advice appreciated I’m getting worried something is wrong the heavy sensation I’m getting in my womb is something I have never experienced before xx

Such a waiting game @Beddie1! I really want to start now to get the best chance possible, but DH is keen to wait a few months. I know it's not long and would be good to know my cycle, but I'm worried there will be problems so don't want to put it off! I'm 29 next month and have always wanted a big family.

AF has arrived! So 1st cycle pill free was 26 days! Not too disappointed as I wasn’t expecting to conceive the 1st month but happy to know everything still works!

@leleophants its just a massive waiting game isnt it. Ive been off the pill for 5 weeks now and nooooothing. Thing is we can still ovulate without having a period or so i believe? And thats the baby maker lol xx

I've had a look and withdrawal bleed doesn't count as a period, really hoping they come back 😖

I came off the pill (Regividon) 5 months ago because i just wanted to take a break, had withdrawal bleeding and three cycles of 29, 34, 35. So i assumed my periods have gone back to normal. I am now day 42 with no sight of a period. I have only had protected sex twice this month (CD30 and CD40), so surely it is impossible to be pregnant. Have tested and got BFN three times.

Has anyone experienced irregular periods like this coming off the pill? I was so sure my periods have returned to normal. I just really want my period to come now.

@Beddie11 sorry it estimated my FW not my exact ovulation date. I put my ovulation in. X

@thumper59, im also using ovia but i hadnt put my withdrawal bleed in as i didnt think it counted as a real period.. ive now put it in to see what it estimated my ovulation as but it hasnt? Im confused lol, dya think it hasnt estimated ovulation because ive already recorded it?x

I'm using femometer for bbt... It automatically upload to a chat. Although you have to pay extra I think for it to tell you when your fertile period is but I haven't done that yet.

@Leleophants depends really. I use ovia and used it from my withdrawal bleed and it estimated my ovulation right I think. If my period comes on 28th as estimated I've gone totally back to normal and it's predicted correct. Depends when your period comes really. After 1-2 cycles I reckon they are bang on

So does the app work even if you haven't had a period yet apart from the normal pill bleed?

Ahh! I came off pill at about the same me as you OP... Well maybe the 20th. We were on holiday, and I started to further to take it and then just decided not to. Still waiting for AF. We were planning on waiting until my period but then.. Ah well who can wait that long!

My trouble is i get back from work late and have to get up at 530am so alarm goes off at 5am so so tired anyway to find the time to... Do The Thing at such a regular basis.

Anyway, it just so happened I think that we started "trying" when I was ovulating. Using those stick things to test and this bbt chart.

Anyway annoyingly I ovulated on the 9th I think only we didn't have sex on the 8th which would have been ideal as I was so bloody tired. But we had on the 6th...

So in my brain there is now a chance.

And finally my body is starting to do something. I've been on the pill for 14 years. I don't miss my period, my mood used to be all over the place. The pill kept me flat but at least predictable.

So... I just want to know when my body period will come. I can feel symptoms, bloated, slight ache down there. Also feeling slightly nauseas which wasn't something I used to experience but it had been 14 years and my body hadn't seen these hormones in a while.

But in my mind, I could possibly potentiality maybe but probably not be pregnant. And seeing as I don't know when to expect AF...

@Birthday51 my last pill was on the 24th December! My month so far sounds like yours ewcm & the horniness 😳 my app says my AF should be here Saturday and I think it’s gonna be, really bloated and crampy! I will be happy to see her as then I know everything has went back to normal!

Good news ladies who have had af return, great attitude that you know where you are now :) I am hoping for the same...

So having come off the pill just before Christmas (24th I think), I had lots of ewcm about 2 weeks later, but now still waiting for af. I doubt I’m pregnant as dh was away in jan and we only did it once just after the ewcm not during, keen for my period to come so I know where I am with everything. Anyone else from a similar time going off the combined pill still waiting for af?

For the lady earlier who said are you horny now you’ve come off the pill - yes definitely! Haven’t seen any weight loss though which I’d like!!
