Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

After a year of extreme broodiness, subject to getting the all clear on our Zika tests next week, DH and I have agreed to start TTC and ( again subject to blood tests) I'm going to come off the pill as soon as possible !! I'm so excited to start trying!!!

Does anyone have any experience of Noriday? And how long it took your cycles to get back to normal ( I know everyone is different).

Hi ladies, hope you dont mind me joining! I originally came off the pill in Oct to TTC no1, had a few normal cycles, but then had to go back on the pillfor 5 weeks to make sure I wasn't on AF for my wedding. So I had my withdrawal bleed 22 Jan, and now cd15. My cycles are quite short so expecting AF/BFP in about 10 days.

From when I came off the pill in Oct, I pretty much experienced everything you guys have said - random emotions, nausea, spotting, spots on face etc!! It's so weird isn't it what your body does when trying to get back to normal!!

@hillsandpills last month was my first one off and I felt so sick, my boobs had a mind of their own and I felt odd to the point that I thought I was pregnant! Sadly AF came and that was that ... I think it was just my body being in shock at having a normal cycle for the first time in a long time!

Hi again everyone - so I'm just coming to the end of my first no pill month and for the past week I've felt really nauseous all the time: has anyone else had this in the lead up to their first "proper" period? I mean, it could also be ovulation I guess as I haven't done that in a while either!

Hi all. I don’t have much to report - no period or symptoms. If nothing happens in the next couple weeks I might test again!

Hi, I've just (6 days ago) came off Nexplanon after 2 and a half years, since me and my OH decided to start trying for baby #1. No visit from mother nature yet, I can hardly tell any difference so far but I guess it's still quite early. The nurse told me I should expect my period anytime soon and once we can determine whether it's back to normal over next couple of months we can officially start making efforts to make it happen (we're "making efforts" in the meantime anyway lol). I'm am beyond excited!

I'm late but I have a feeling I'm having one of my long cycles 😕 I'm on CD31 now. I'll test at the end of the week if it hasn't shown up but zero symptoms. Mind u my hubby says I crabby so maybe it's on it's way lol

According to my app I'll be heading into fertile window now. Still have a bit of spotting today as well as yesterday so I don't know what's going on!

I've been using the Ovia app and it said I ovulated last Wednesday but I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating now... EWCM, some cramping.
Another thing that has taken me by surprise is how much my sex drive has increased! The last 2/3 days it's been really distracting and every dream I have had has revolved around DTD.... I'm actually away this week so my fiancé isn't even benefitting! Has anyone else found this?

Morning ladies! Just checking in... according to ovia I have just finished my fertile window and am heading in to the 2 week wait. Hoping last month's mad symptoms in the latter part of my cycle were related to coming off the pill and won't happen again as they weren't fun!
How is everyone else getting on?

I stopped taking the pill late December. Had breakthrough bleed 2 weeks after then a 28 day cycle followed by a 15 day cycle so I think my body’s trying to get into a rhythm again. The only symptom I’ve had is constant low level nausea and loss of appetite which is crazy. It’s so cruel how pregnancy symptoms mimic those of coming off the pill.

Had all the emotions and tired after off the pill! Headaches too, but they've subsided so hang in there.

Finally AF - first real one in about 10 years but took longer to get to which I think means long cycle. It was only 4 days though, shorter than withdrawal bleeds. Do those apps like Flo then adjust ovulation dates or wait to see if it's consistently shorter but longer cycles? Not sure whether to rely on these ones or not.

After a one 26 day cycle and one 28 day cycle I was expecting my next period to start Friday just gone. But no sign of it or if it coming (I usually get awful cramps I day or two before) and I'm definitely not pregnant coz I had to stay off the sex until I had my smear last week.

Just wanna have my period so that I know my next attempt is coming up.

Hi ladies! So I stopped taking the pill on Jan 8. Got break through bleed Jan 11-14. Just got AF today. Hoping I can finally start tracking cycles after this!

I had symptoms like that approx 2-4 weeks after coming off the pill. Spots, emotional, extra tired etc but all that has eased now after another couple of weeks.

Has anyone had spotting and EWCM on CD 8? Happening to me today. I'd hardly be ovulating this early? It's all so hard second guessing everything

How are we all ladies? Feeling very strange the past couple of weeks, emotional, tired, breakout of spots. Is this hormones settling down? Definitely BFN so hoping it's things settling down. Hope you all have a restful Sunday x

Good morning ladies

Just been catching up. I finally had my break through bleed over the weekend, nearly 60 days after stopping my pill, so just now waiting to see when AF turns up.
All those with AF I hope they are not too bad for too long, I can't remember what they were like.
Fingers crossed for everyone 😊

@whatsthecraic91 sorry AF got you! I put in my spotting days on Fertility Friend and it just left a little note but on the day I put as light/medium flow it counted it as CD1 so I personally think it's the first proper day of AF

Finally got AF properly after 5 days of spotting/wiping!! So would I take my cycle length from the spotting started or from when AF properly showed her face? She’s kicking my ass too cant remember it being like this before my pill days 😓
