Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

@Kinsella82 I've not been ttc for long and I'm obsessed. More because I want to understand where my body and cycle is I suppose. I'm giving bbt a go but nothing yet really. Tried the Cm and cervix and I've just confused myself 😂 you're doing well to not do more being obsessed I've noticed most people have been doing bbt 😊

@Beddie11 it was stretchy just not sure whether the right amount of stretchy haha! I took a photo but it's a bit tmi to post I think 😂😂
I have no idea. I was hoping it was af then at least I'd have a starting point. Could be or I might have skipped the withdrawal bleed (if thats possible)

I was never sure what i was looking for in regards to CM but i have definitely had egg white before.. really stretchy, you'll know when youve got that! From what i know id say this bleed youve just had wouldnt be classed as your period, because surely this is just your withdrawal bleed really late? Xx

No I'm not charting anything else. I'm already overly obsessed!

You'll have to let us know how you get on with them this month. Are you charting or using anything else to help know when? BBT? Hopefully a few things together should give a good idea  (saying that I have no idea what I'm doing so could be completely wrong haha)

I'm not sure. I had a look online earlier as I wanted to give it a go. With being fresh off the pill I'm not sure where my body or cycle is at so anything that can help and doesn't have me peeing on hundreds of sticks haha! Not quite sure what I was feeling for but there was a bulge like you'd expect and it was far in which I think is high and it was definitely more soft than hard. Also had sticky Cm come out when I removed my fingers (sorry tmi!) it was semi egg white-ish but not as stretchy as I think it should be. I'm just confused because that could mean I'm ovulating or about to but I'm only on cd6 so I'm not sure what's going on or if I've just got it completely wrong :s
Are you charting anything else?

Also @abi58 ive had alittle feel of the cervix before, not really sure but i think its high open and soft for ovulation? And i think low and open for menstruation xx

I found the CB great as i wasn't squinting and comparing lines etc. But then again the CB didn't work as much as I would have liked 😂😂 I'll give them another go this month

Im interested to see what day i ovulate, hoping i can tell roughly from CM as im not using anything this month!

@abi58 you'll have to let us know how u get on with the ics xx

@Kinsella82 are the clear blue ones good? I've got the ic's great for multiple tests and not worrying about cost but maybe I should give them a go

It was CD16 or so last month. Used digital opk. Before that I was only half using IC opks and before that I wasn't using anything so going to try the CB digital again this month

That's very true! I hope you're ok! Do you have a usual cd day that you ovulate?

Spent all day in hosp getting a bone scan. The only positive about not being pregnant yet. Otherwise I'd have had to wait til after baby/after breastfeeding etc

@Beddie11 yes like clockwork! I had missed a few pills in the last pack and had the tiniest amount of spotting mid way through so that could be the reason I guess...not missed many before but think I knew I was stopping so wasn't as careful haha!

That's good! Wow Friday start we are on the exact same cycle

@kinsella82, i definitely go through stages like you where i feel really down about it, especially because id not even had AF yet. For the most part though you just need to carry on with your life as normal, im sure your little ones keep you very busy lol, and just take each week as it comes xx

@Abi58 so your quite early in your ttc journey too! Its very odd that you didnt get your withdrawal bleed, have u always had it in the past?
Its just nice to hear peoples stories and have somewhere to come and chat about it. I came off the pill the 17th of December and i believe @kinsella82 was about a week or so after that? (Sorry,correct me if im wrong) as youve seen from my previous posts i had my withdrawal bleed straight away but up until friday hadnt had a proper period. Id been to the doctors for blood tests etc which showed no issues, and then lo and behold AF showed up out of the blue. So im now on my first cycle since stopping the pill and i finally feel like im actually in the game. Theres no telling whether i was ovulating or not in the months without a period. If i was ovulating then ive obviously just not caught. I prefer to think that i wasnt ovulating and that now ive had AF i will start ovulating and get caught nice and quickly but thats just wishful thinking xx

@Abi58 hi!! I came off it and Xmas. Had withdrawal bleed straight away and cycles averaging 29 days ever since. I'm 36 TTC no. 3

Ttc #1 I'm 28 as well 

I came off the pill at the end of March. Strangely no withdrawal bleed.

Finally got what I think was my first non pill AF on Friday (just gone) so light I only used a panty liner and that wasn't even needed for most, Saturday was the same and Sunday was even lighter. Nothing by Monday.

Today I had some twinges, best way I can describe is like a pulling/tugging pain down there (I started getting this about 10-12 months ago but it was like a sign my withdrawal bleed was about to start and mainly when I was on the toilet (sorry tmi) (so thought muscles maybe)
Today is day 2 with no af and it was just while stood up normally so I'm a bit confused!

If that was my first af I'm now on cd 5 

When did you and @Kinsella82 come off the pill?

It's just taking its toll but I'll be ok. Feel like I've wasted the year wishing away each fortnight and now I'm feeling guilty about that.

@Abi58 i dont think we know your story do we? Is this your first baby your ttc? Kinsella and I stopped our pill at the same time, im trying for no1 aged 28 xx

@abi58, your around the same day in your cycle as us now too! So we can all be here for eachother and compare notes along the way! Xxx

@kimsella82, sorry to hear your feeling crap, try and stay positive, i know its hard though. We have to look at it like this, in the great scheme of things we havent been trying long, we are still very early on in our ttc journeys. Now that ive finally stated a cycle we are on almost the same cycle day, im on day 4 so we really are in this together now lol! Xx

I should have had my withdrawal bleed at the end of March but nothing at all until the weekend just gone. Annoyingly tho Evening I'm getting like pulling pains low down there (about 12 months ago I started getting a similar pain just before my withdrawal bleed)
Good sign thought that yours was heavier as the pill normally makes it lighter

Great news @Beddie11 fingers crossed for plain sailing from now on.

I'm on cd3 after another unsuccessful month. This month has hit me very hard and I just feel so so crap

@abi58 yayy! How long have u been waiting for yours? Mine was heavier than my withdrawal bleed used to be, and its lasted alittle longer. But i have been waiting a long while for mine lol so i didnt think it would be light xx

That's great news!

I got my first one this weekend too! Friday and Saturday light with spotting on Sunday (very light like my withdrawal bleeds were)
Not sure whether it's good I've had one or not as it was so light :s

@ttc2019babyno1 also no it hasnt been too bad! I started with it friday night and its about finished now.. has been less painful than my pill bleeda actually! Xxx
