Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

@whatsthecraic91 hey, how are u? Nope cos AF hasn't arrived. I've read on here that people haven't had bfp until a few days past their missed period so try not to be negative 😊 x

Decided to test this morning as I have a gin festival and a wedding this weekend. BFN as suspected but at least I know and can have some drinks now without worrying I’m doing harm! Happy Friday all

I’m still here feeling crampy but nothing actually happening as much as I would love to be pregnant right now I even want AF to come so I can track properly

@Abi58 yea I've heard a few people say they wouldn't have an early scan for these reasons but I think it's each to their own! Hopefully it's all positive for u😊.
AF will probably arrive in the morning, hopefully not though

@DaniX91 by what others others have said I'm wondering if we are setting ourselves up for more stress, we want to see it before we tell parents and the way it has fallen we either tell my dad the weekend we wanted to have the scan or not for another month or so. The scan is only a couple of days before we are 7 weeks so hopefully it's ok but a few have said they went early and the sonographer scared them saying they couldn't see it or it was measuring smaller 🙈🤞🏻 all goes ok! Otherwise will just be worrying!

Ah some do have shorter so don't worry 😁 🤞🏻 af doesn't show

Aww it'd be lovely if u saw the heartbeat that early on😊 I'd definitely go for another inbetween!

Just checked Flo and last month I only got to 10dpo then AF came the next day, so maybe she'll show tomorrow 😔 that was the first month after stopping cerelle. Last pill on May 10th, solid smiley on clear blue opk on May 25th then AF on June 6th. So really I was lucky that my body went back to normal so quickly but a 10 day LP doesn't seem good.
Yea I'd like to try and wait til Monday if AF hasn't shown 🤞🏼

@DaniX91 it's hard to say as everyone is different but the general rule of thumb is 14 days after ov so if you're 10dpo today I'd say the 8th sounds close! :) 🤞🏻 are you trying to hold out testing?

@DaniX91 apparently you might be able to see a heartbeat so hope so 🤞🏻 we wanted it at over 7 weeks but had to reschedule. I might go for another in between that and the 12 weeks 😁

Well Flo and Fitbit both predicted AF as today but I didn't ovulate until cd19, I'm now 10dpo so cd29 and I'm thinking AF will now be due around the 8th. Would u agree?

@Abi58 I've not really had sore nipples at all compared to last month when they were absolutely killing from 1dpo!
I can't help but get my hopes up😂 haven't really had any nausea.
Are u guna have an early scan?

@DaniX91 😂 I did have backache (not trying to get anyone's hopes up as symptoms can be so similar and everyone is different) (also it's nice to be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed 😁🙈)

I thought I was out as unlike the previous month my nipples were fine, not sore at all, I had cramps and 'fanny daggers' and on off backache and waves of nausea (although that hasn't left me since ovulation so 🤷🏻‍♀️)

What about the backache though, surely that's not a good sign?
@whatsthecraic91 I don't suppose you'll know how long your LP usually is if this is the first month you've tracked ovulation?

I’m CD 27 I’m usually 30 day cycle but ovulated CD17! I have just had loads of creamy milky CM too there now just after a pee, hopefully another good sign!

I know I’m gonna be so gutted this month if she shows her face

Yea I think I'm getting my hopes up too, we should really try not to cos then we're guna be absolutely gutted if AF shows but it's so hard not to! I'm cd29, what are u?

@DaniX91 I’m just really invested this month as I have tracked etc and I just want to know!! They had a bit yesterday day and last night I had fanny daggers and AF style cramps all day but I’m due until Tuesday, I know I’m getting my hopes up!

I really think AF is on the way, had sharp pricking feeling right down low today and a bit of backache. Just finished work and came to the toilet expecting it to have started but have a lot a creamy cm instead.
How are u feeling, have your cramps stopped?

Hi girls

I hope you don’t mind me joining. I’ve read through the thread from the beginning and found it so helpful. I came off the pill at the beginning of June after 16 years on microgynon 30. I am 31 and ttc my first. This is all so new to me and I am finding the whole thing overwhelming. I seem to be thinking about it all the time and symptom spotting! I got my withdrawal bleed within two days of coming off the pill for about 5 days. I haven’t had AF since. If I count from first day of bleed today is CD33. I have no idea if I am ovulating as haven’t been testing know it could take a while for my cycle to regulate. I have been DTD every 2-3 days in the hope that I could be one of the lucky ones who fall pg straight of the pill. The only symptoms I’ve noticed is mild pains in the abdomen and more recently lower back ache. I know this could easily be pre AF symptoms! Also been a bit blocked up and it’s currently hot weather so this is a bit odd but could be hay fever! I have been super bloated since I came off the pill so for me I feel I have gained weight rather than lost it! Sex drive however has gone through the roof! I haven’t had any other signs I could be pg but I have a hen weekend coming up and it involves a spa so I’m thinking maybe I should test to make sure but I’m absolutely terrified! I’ve never POAS before!! It would be great to feel like I can share this journey with others. Any advice very welcome!! X

@whatsthecraic91 6 months isn't a long time when u hear some people's stories but I don't agree with having to try for a year before going to the doctor's.
My friend (who fell pregnant while on the pill) really hurt me the other day by saying "it hasn't worked yet? If it doesn't happen when you're off work for the 6 weeks holiday's and you're stress free then I'd go to the doctor's!"
