Anyone else fresh off the pill!?

Hi ladies!
As my DH and i habe decided to TTC I took the last pill in my packet on 17th December and had my breakthrough bleed start on the 22nd and end on the 26th. Now the wait begins to see whether my cycle snaps back to normal and of course whether I concieve! I had been on microgynon for circa 3 years.

Is anyone else in a similar position and entering 2019 pill free!? I thought this would be a good place to track and share our experiences as they happen!

Hi all, not sure if you remember me but I joined you early on in my TTC journey! Just been reading back the thread from the beginning, feeling very nostalgic!
I eventually fell pregnant about 13-14 months after coming off the pill but sadly had a miscarriage. I gave birth to my beautiful rainbow baby girl in August 2021 so just under 3 years after stopping the pill. Ended up needing a little fertility assistance as I was diagnosed with pcos!
Hope everyone is well

Hello! So nice to hear from you again @peaky297

yes, I had my second baby in September 😊 it was tricky being pregnant and managing a toddler! A lot different from the first time round haha

hope you are well and best of luck with TTC

Hello ladies! I can't believe that it's over 4 years since I started this thread! Just checking in to see how you are all doing?

Anyone gone on to have a second? We have just recently started trying at the end of October and I forgot how stressful all the symptom spotting and overthinking is! Haha

@DaniX91 you popped into my head today! How are you doing? x

DaniX91 · 03/03/2021 17:17

@whatsthecraic91 I haven't had a notification either! Aw so pleased it went well for you and you're happy.
We're ok thanks, Daisy was one on 22nd February 😳 xx

whatsthecraic91 · 14/02/2021 12:31

@DaniX91 I don't get notifications for this thread - annoying!! Sorry for the late reply!

His name is Tom 😀 labour was actually ok!! No where near as painful as I imagined! I was induced with the pessary and everything went great, waters broke themselves and I was ready to push 7 hours later. Wee dude just didn't want to come out so after pushing for 2 hours I had to have a csection. Bit disappointed at the time but after reading some of the horror stories on my Facebook group I'm glad he didn't come out naturally 😅😅 I'm so happy my downstairs is still intact 😂 I actually loved the whole experience being in theatre 😂 I would take an elective next time & recovery has been a dream. I feel very lucky.

How are you & little lady? x

DaniX91 · 20/01/2021 20:33

@whatsthecraic91 I've only just seen your comment from December....my little one was a couple of weeks old then,.so I suspect I saw it then got distracted and forgot about it! My little girl turns 9 months in a few days and is crawling now, so she is into everything!
I see that congratulations are in order for you too!? So.exciting! X.

@DaniX91 thats amazing news and im glad it helped you. TTC can feel quite lonely, so its nice.to be able to speak to others in the same position without the pressure of knowing them personally. Lets hope it helps more ladies in the future! X
