Positive pregnancy test? HELP

Can someone please help me out?
Is this a positive pregnancy test or an evaporation line? Test taken an hour ago (didn’t check it straight away)

Ok - this is real and may sound strange!!

I was woken up in the middle of the night by the conception - it was a warm glowing feeling and I knew I was pregnant!!

It does happen!! I’ve since read about it and others have felt it too.

I didn’t have sore boobs with either pregnancies, or other symptoms etc till the morning sickness too over!

How long did it take you to get another positive after the cheapie showed positive? X

I brought the cheap tests and tested a few days after implantation - I knew I was pregnant as I felt it (yes I know people think that’s weird)

The cheap test showed positive -

The newer test seem to need you to be more pregnant -

So don’t give up hope

If ur not pregnant ul just be late, so it’ll turn up. But use the ovulation tests to keep u on track x

I’m wondering whether I’ll skip this months AF or whether it will turn up. Hopefully soon so I can start again quickly.

And the same for you - let me know how u get on. I’m expecting my AF in the next day or 2. The more I read up on this the more I think it’s a chemical pregnancy.
Wish the icky tummy and sore swollen boobs would go away if it is! X

Vickster I done a CB digital on 26th “not pregnant” but put that down to not having high enough HCG levels as they’re not sensitive tests, done a boots digital 26th evening and again 27th morning, both negative. Again thought the same as I read up about the digitals needing higher hormone levels so bought 2 first response tests yday, done 1 yday evening and 2nd one this morning. Both BFNs

The more I read up on it the more I think it’s a chemical pregnancy. I’m having water discharge since yday, thought it was just pregnancy hormones.... now I think it’s the start of the end 😭

Broodyaf I think you’ve defo got more chance than me. I’m almost accepting I’m out and waiting for the inevitable AF so I can start again. I think you might need to keep testing for a few days. Was today your first bfn?

Sorry you’re going through this, could’ve been a “chemical” (horrible term!).

Anxiety is unlikely to affect menstrual cycles. (I have anxiety issues).

@waitingonasmiley yeah I read up on chemical pregnancies and think that’s possibly what I have had. There is no denying my tests were BFPs... I guess I just have to wait for the bleed now 😭

@vickster, easier said than done but we can’t keep goin on like this. We’re putting ourselves through hell and back x

He’s Just said let’s see what happens next month haha. If I was pregnant by now I am 99.9% sure a test would show it so I’m tempted to just act as such and get on with it. This has been the worst month for sure for me so maybe he has a point

Broodyaf if you are still getting negatives on all tests it sounds like a possible chemical pregnancy. The lines on the cheap tests were positive. So sorry!

Ttcvickster I can't see lines with colour on any of your tests. Maybe it's clearer in real life. Good luck

I keep looking at the negatives but I just can’t let myself rest! And if we’re not pregnant all this anxiety and constant stress and overthinking is no doubt delaying our AFs yet it’s impossible to switch off!
What is ur OH saying?

I know I find myself repeating my nanas mantra constantly “Their babies do not take away from yours, there are enough to go round” which helps a lot. I’m now wondering if I took a strip test and it was negative would I let myself rest. I can’t remember where I even bought the first one from

I know and I feel EXACTLY the same! Like it’s all I think about, I’m having such vivid dreams about random stuff too.
And then u have someone that goes out on a 1night stand and boom! 🤷‍♀️

It’s just frustrating I feel like I can’t put it to bed, I haven’t drunk just in case, I’m taking a test every day. I just want AF to come now so I can move on from this because it’s driving me insane and ruining my time off work

@bigones I think ur right but if so, they shouldn’t be allowed to sell those as I’m surely not the only one that would have gotten a false positive from them. Our hormones and emotions are hard enough to cope with atm without this added stress!

Yes Vickster I was about to say about the cysts giving u irregular periods, but as u say, uve been tracking them all and ur always bang on time. If it’s any help, I used to always be 26daya every month, but the past 4-5 cycles have been 20-21, so they can change ... no, I know that’s not help to u 😭

I’m going to give it another week or so unless the doctor craziness has died down and then go and see the doctors but more with the attitude I’m 2 weeks late all the tests are negative wtf is going on. I’m fully expecting them to say something about cysts making periods irregular but I have tracked them and never even been 1 day late so I’m so confused.

I would never take a cheap test as my definitive answer.. sorry ur goin through this but from the look of the other tests ur not pregnant..

Yes it came up as dark as is in that pic within the 3mins. But all the dear tests since have been negative! People say a line is a line... but why have I been having no lines on the dear tests since?
If I’m not pregnant then cheap tests should be banned cos this is just absolutely heart wrenching. When u try for soooo long, get ur hopes up with 2 “BFPS” 2 days in a row, don’t drink over Christmas, ur family start to twig something’s up, and now this?!
Vickster I’m not coping with it. My fiancé is still adamant I’m pregnant. My boobs are sore, swollen and veiny, my tummy is icky, my gut is constantly gurgling really loudly too ??
Vickster are u going to go to the GP saying as ur so late, or are u trying to hold out in case u be made feel like a fool if they tell u ur not pregnant? My cycles lately have been 20-21 days. Today is day 21

For me I don’t but it’s so faint I’m not convinced it’s a real positive. I’ve had a chemical in the past and am super wary. I’ve tested with so many other brands and haven’t got anything so law of averages would suggest it’s a no. Also I’m now a week late so I’d imagine any line would be a strong one or not a viable pregnancy going forward if there was a faint one iyswim. My DP does say I’m negative about it though (through sheer fear of having major issues)

May I ask why you want to see a BFP on a FR particularly?

Do you know Doctors use strip tests? (IME anyway).

False negatives are much, much more common than false positives.

Was that second Christmas day one within the allotted time? If so I'd say there's a very good chance you're pregnant. Keep testing, first thing in the morning.
