Positive pregnancy test? HELP

Can someone please help me out?
Is this a positive pregnancy test or an evaporation line? Test taken an hour ago (didn’t check it straight away)

I think because I’ve had a chemical before (a few years ago) and had positive tests then so I’m sure I’m not one of those people who doesn’t make HCG. I work in a school full of pregnant people so I’m hoping this is resolved 1 way or another before I go back on the 7th.

But why are u so adamant it’s gonna come. Ur so late that I’d be taking that as a positive! I know the fact that ur not getting BFPs is making you doubt it all, but since I had a good chat with my OH last nite I’m listening to my body and it’s giving me all the pregnancy symptoms. And ur having them all too. Yes it’s cruel and emotional is an understatement but until we get our AF we just have to TRY and think positive. It’s so bloody hard, part of me wants AF to come and get this over and done with, but a bigger part of me is saying I’m pregnant!

BroodyAF definitely hope for you, I’m now 8 days late so if it was going to be anything I’m 100% sure it would have showed bynnow. I just want AF to hurry up and stop taunting me, I’m so hormonal atm it’s ridiculous Blush

I was in this position exactly three years ago. Eventually ended up getting faint lines on FRs around 6 days after period was due and they got stronger. I must have ovulated later 🤷🏼‍♀️ But it was a horrible time of uncertainty. That uncertainty is is now 2ft tall and running around in her prized Elsa dress. Keeping everything crossed for you.

I have none of the wee cheap strip tests left but I’ve ordered them online. They’ll be here wed/thurs
Hopefully AF doesn’t arrive before they do 🙏

Vickster I wouldn’t be givin up yet cos u have a lot of symptoms... we could be 2 cases of people who just don’t produce high enough levels of HCG. And I’m more confident that ur pregnant because ur so late. I’m only due AF yday/today.
We’re not outta the running until AF arrives xx

I keep feeling sick and dizzy, I’m super tired, my boobs are huge with massive veins and my stomach is hard and bloated.

I’m finding this exhausting I just want AF to arrive so I can get on with TTC. I highly doubt I’m pregnant so just want it to stop now. Your positives were much darker than mine though so im mote hopeful for you

Me too! My OH isn’t one to get his hopes up like this but he’s adamant I’m pregnant and says it’d Be like me to be odd and not produce enough HCG lol
Do u have many symptoms?x

I’d only be 3 weeks as I’ve a v short cycle (20-21days)
I’m from NI and there are no resources like that here, just serum and blood tests from GP.
OH has been reading heaps of different threads from people who knew they were pregnant but HCG levels were too low to detect

Broody how far along would you be? I know the local scan place round by me offers a reassurance scan which around 40 quid where they confirm pregnancy location for anxious mothers. This may not be an option financially but could be a last resort?

Vickster still no AF my end either and OH landed home from shiftwork this morning with an armful of different tests... I done 3 different ones and all negative!!!!
But I have soooo many symptoms! I even have a lump in my throat (feels like a tablet is stuck) and someone else said last nite they had it too! And my gut makes serious noise after I eat ... another uncommon symptom
OH is still adamant I’m pregnant!!!

Vickster, don’t be so hard on yourself. I’ve been trying a long time and if ur like us, there’s for more hard work than fun involved! People have told me to relax, don’t think about it and it’ll happen... they clearly haven’t had to try too hard.
I’m more down atm cos I’m thinking it’s a chemical pregnancy, but OH is still positive and says we’re still pregnant until it and when AF comes. And ur OH seems to be the same. They don’t feel what we feel cos it’s our bodies. That’s what I’ve been telling him anyway 😂
Like all these wee symptoms yet BFNs.
Aaaaaahhhhhhh we’ll have no hair by the time we do get out BFPs lol xx

I didn’t expect to still be so down over it. I thought after waiting a year I’d become accustomed to the idea it was not going to be easy but apparently I had held out hope. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long until we get a BFP that sticks

Ah Vickster I know how u feel. I’ve decided that mines a chemical pregnancy but if ur anything like me, as much as I’m telling myself I’m out, I don’t think we’ll fully settle til AF arrives!
This has went from the best to the worst Christmas!

Broody I gave in and used my last clear blue. I’ve decided I’m officially out. Not even a hint of a line at 7 days late so I’m going to discount this cycle and hope for the best for the next one. Hope yours picks up!

Sorry I thought u meant u tried the dearer tests and got negatives but u didn’t get any negatives, u just held off.
My period due today/tomoro and I’m still testing negative. I do believe at this stage it’s a chemical pregnancy, just no blood yet 🤷‍♀️

I was pregnant on the Sunday and tested the cheap one on the Tuesday - positive

Didn’t do another test til the day after period was due - so two weeks ish

@GreenTulips I thought that happened to me at 8dpo but been testing since then and no positive test. My stomach felt full and heavy but that's gone away a bit

I'm going to test tomorrow next it will be the day my period is due.
