@ScarletGlow thanks! I actually have no symptoms apart from twinges and weird heavy feeling in stomach, and feel as if AF will not arrive

I had symptoms at 6dpo. Hope you have good news soon!

Shoebedoo · 27/12/2018 00:15

Yes.. I craved sugary sweets, had really bad constipation and my boobs tingled!

Blueflower22 · 27/12/2018 00:08

@Rubberduckies ohh I see, a lot of women are saying symptoms don't happen until later.
I feel pregnant so we'll see what happens!

Nope. No symptoms until I started throwing up at 5 weeks (13weeks later and haven't stopped)

I tested because my period didn't come, simple as that!

LittleBirdBlues · 24/12/2018 23:05

I only get symptoms about 8 weeks into the pregnancy. That's when the nausea kicks in which is unlike anything else. Before 8 weeks, any symptoms are so vague they can easily be caused by other things! Tiredness? Tender breasts? Headaches...?

Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:46

@LittleBirdBlues wow you must have been so surprised. I've heard that a lot of people get symptoms and that's all most posts say! So it's good to hear they haven't

I've had three babies. With neither did I 'know' that I was pregnant, but with each there was a real excitement about taking the test (they were all surprise babies/let's see what happen). I do think I had a strong feeling without having any clear symptoms at all. It's an odd one!

Pastaallday · 24/12/2018 22:34

@Blueflower22 well perhaps 5dpo was a little early Grin. I can't talk tbh it was hard to hold of till 9dpo for me! And since I got my bfp on Friday I've tested everyday since and can't see me stopping for a little while. I'm petrified!

whatswithtodaytoday · 24/12/2018 22:31

No symptoms at all, I only tested (a day or two before my period was due) because I was going to a festival and would be drinking all day. We'd been trying for a few months and I was pretty certain we hadn't got the timing right that time.

I started to feel a bit odd four days later.

SaltPans · 24/12/2018 22:31

I can't explain - it was just something different. You know how sometimes you feel on high alert - a different feeling to normal.

However, as in the above, the nausea started before the first pregnancy test.

Kinsters · 24/12/2018 22:31

I never had symptoms before a BFP but always tested super early. I had symptoms before my period was missed though, just being really tired and a little bit nauseous.

Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:30

@Pastaallday I knowww but I'm so tempted to try tomorrow. I've already tested two times though, the earliest at 5dpo 😂

Pastaallday · 24/12/2018 22:28

It's tricky - if you know you'll be really disappointed if it's negative perhaps don't test tomorrow as it might spoil your day? Plus it's still early days and many don't get a bfp this way anyway!

ps1991 · 24/12/2018 22:26

No symptoms at all. BFP at 6 weeks. DH bought the test as I was ‘grumpy’!! We’d been trying for 8 months. I didn’t really have any symptoms until about 28 weeks when I started aching, now 35+4 :)

Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:25

@SaltPans what symptoms did you have?

How did you feel different?

I feel kind of content and my womb feels different, have you had a feeling like this before?

OP posts:
Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:24

@Pastaallday I have one frer left and two normal clearblue ones. Don't know whether it's worth testing tomorrow. My womb feels kind of full though, but have no other symptoms, me and dp managed to dtd quite a lot during the fertile period!

OP posts:
StarlightIntheNight · 24/12/2018 22:23

I am not quite sure. I got a static smile 7 days ago. So not sure when exactly I ovulated. We dtd 8 days ago only once. So I think the earliest I could test is in 3 days....but even that is probably too early.

SaltPans · 24/12/2018 22:22

Yes, after a bit of practice - I knew within 48 hours of conception, because I just felt different!

One time, we were in a restaurant for DH's birthday, and I was eating an exquisite dish - half way through it, I had to tell him:

"I just can't eat this......"

Pastaallday · 24/12/2018 22:21

If you've only got one or two tests perhaps save it for boxing day. If not, then why not!

Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:19

@StarlightIntheNight awww I see, well I hope you get some good news. What day in the cycle are you?

OP posts:
Blueflower22 · 24/12/2018 22:18

@Pastaallday ohhhh so a line can develop overnight! That's great. I'm 9dpo tested today with a frer, don't know whether to test tomorrow (at 10dpo) or not
