I thought I would start a thread for TTC #2 or 3,4,5 😆 if you are "crazy" enough 😉💙

For those of us on the "wrong side of 30" (lighthearted 😀)

35+, 40s and so on. Us mature beautiful mums that still hold out breath for some fresh meconium 😆

Good luck to us all, may the poas be with you

Wow, that’s speedy! Congrats coffee.

Can I hop on board? I’m 35 and TTC#3, with a 7yo and a 3yo. It feels nuts to be thinking of going back to nappies and newborn days, and DH would happily stop at 2, but here we are anyway. I will be overseas with work when I ov this month so there’s only so much we can do Wink.

MaryShelley1818 · 10/01/2019 18:13

planespotting · 09/01/2019 08:23

Oh! I will most certainly be poas in a few days
Spent £10 on a FRER last month (2 in the box)
What a waste of money 😫

Coffeeandcake1 · 09/01/2019 08:21

I think Im on CD 25, it is such a rollercoaster and I have zero willpower! I try to be logical about it and wait until a missed period but then again I really want to try to poas and deal with any disappointment next week!

planespotting · 09/01/2019 08:09

@Coffeeandcake1 which CD are you on?
I am only 21 and certain it wont happen this month
Starting to feel positive about just having one child
Then next week I will be upset at period
Bloody rollercoaster Grin

Coffeeandcake1 · 09/01/2019 07:48

So I am trying hard not to poas too early! Im 11 dpo, is that too early to try testing with a One Step test?!

MaryShelley1818 · 07/01/2019 15:51

Congratulations Frances!!
Hope everyone else is well :)
AF finally showed up for me today making this a 54 day cycle!! Fingers crossed my body is going to settle down in the next few months so we can concentrate on making baby #2!

planespotting · 28/12/2018 18:56

Well done @Coffeeandcake1 Grin

I need to start poas to check for ovulation tomorrow. It is exhausting 😫

planespotting · 28/12/2018 18:55

Sorry ladies I changed my name I am Hopity 😀
@FrancesV83 massive congratulations!
@pinkiebrain82 sorry to hear, it can be a very upsetting time. It took me a while to get pregnant first time and I wasn't always ovulating. I was overweight and lost a bit and maybe that help but I guess I will never know. I think I should try that again.

You are more than welcome to post here but I think most of us already have children so I wonder if you will get more support in a TTC thread for first babies, just because I remember I struggled a lot hearing from people that already had. Not sure this makes sense

💙💙💙

Coffeeandcake1 · 28/12/2018 18:51

Hi, Im 35 and currently ttc #2. According to the Flo app, I am ovulating tomorrow so have been dtd every day for last three days (every other day before this).
Then its the dreaded two week wait!

pinkiebrain82 · 28/12/2018 18:38

Hi - first ever message on here so i am sorry if this is in the wrong place but I wondered if anyone has any advice. Feeling very down at the moment tbh. I'm 36, overweight and my husband suffers from anxiety and depression....... it's a great mix. We have been trying for nearly to get pregnant but no luck. I know this isn't a huge amount of time but my periods are just awful and have resulted in having to take sick days due to the heaviness. My husband has a stressful job and the majority of my friends were very lucky and got pregnant easily and don't really understand. I just feel like I can't really speak with anyone about these things and it quite depressing. Anyone had a similar experience or have any advice?

WatchingTheWheels85 · 28/12/2018 18:19

That's brilliant! So pleased for you Smile

FrancesV83 · 28/12/2018 18:04

I had my BFP on Christmas Day, praying it’s a sticky bean!

WatchingTheWheels85 · 28/12/2018 17:03

How is everyone doing? Any testers? I'm out I know my body too well after 4 children. Just want my period here now (due on the 6th).

MaryShelley1818 · 23/12/2018 05:15

Thank you Hope!
It was an amazing day! My 12mth old is currently teething terribly and I’m wondering what on earth am I thinking wanting to do this again! Lol!
I stopped the pill 6wks ago, had my withdrawal bleed but now AF has gone awol so I’m actually hoping for a period so I can get back to normal!

FrancesV83 · 22/12/2018 22:32

Can I join?
I’m 35 TTC #2, had a chemical pregnancy at the end of November and been dtd regularly ever since. AF due on the 26th so every day I’m praying not to see blood!!

WatchingTheWheels85 · 22/12/2018 20:23

Ava is a fertility bracelet which can help double your chances of conceiving. I'm so impatient I want this now. Trying my hardest not to start a crochet blanket Grin

Peaky1 · 22/12/2018 19:19

Crikey @WatchingTheWheels85 that is some serious TTC! I'm knackered with every other day, lol! I Started testing around CD 8 or 9 I think. I've used clear blue, cheapies and boots own. Always neg! When I eject the clear blue one out of the socket it did show a darker second blue line at around CD11 or 12 but I still just got the circle. Now they are just one definite blue line.

What is this ava?

WatchingTheWheels85 · 22/12/2018 16:59

@Peaky1 when did you start testing with opk? I got my flashy on cd 9 and static on cd 11. I think maybe I have had sex too much Confused Every day from cd5 then twice a day from cd9. I'm taking q10 and was drinking grapefruit juice from cd1 to increase ewcm. I'm seriously considering getting the ava next month and maybe trying acupuncture. Yes I'm obsessed! Funnily enough I never take a pregnancy test early too scared of getting addicted I have only ever taken one 2 weeks after a missed period Shock

Peaky1 · 22/12/2018 16:51

Hi all!

I'm TTC #3 and I'm 39. 2 sons aged 6 and 3.

@WatchingTheWheels85 I have a feeling I might've missed my O day. I'm now CD18 (cycles usually 27-30 days) and still getting negative OPK tests! Period is due 3/4 Jan. Been having sex every 2 or 3 days for a couple of weeks so that's okay. I'm just getting annoyed at my stealth egg! Where are you?!

WatchingTheWheels85 · 22/12/2018 16:04

Oh I don't know about that, I never tried in the past it just happened. Ideally I would love another two but it depends on how long it takes ttc, I was pretty cut up it didn't happen straight away on cycle one which is crazy Blush
