@EltzBee I’m unusually organised - tree is up, presents are all wrapped, food is in fridge. Ready to go!

Only sticking point was I was going to do housework all day tomorrow with DP ... but that’s now out of the window! @MrsEG he is lucky he is at work until midnight! I am however leaving the kitchen and washing up all to him to do in the morning :P

@qwertt12 Welcome! Great you’re taking it easy and enjoying it - it is absolutely the way to go! At 20 you definitely have age on your side too!! FX you get that BFP really soon!

@EltzBee I had to go to John Lewis today, it was no fun whatsoever! Full of panic-stricken men!! But now I have everything! Plus we’re not doing any cooking for Xmas Day so that is officially me finished :) I do have to make DH his birthday cake but I’m just gonna throw a quick carrot cake together (make it so often I can do it in my sleep!)

@MrsEG thanks lovely, in the unlikely event shes not here in the morning I'll do a test just in case but I'm sure she should be here any moment from my chart. Have attached it so people know what I'm on about!

How is everyone doing for Xmas plans? We still haven't got our tree up, although the box has made it to the upstairs landing... I need to make a pavlova for Xmas day dessert too which will probably be tomorrow's job.

@Keyboard91 If DH ‘surprised’ me with a last min in-laws visit I’d kill him!! Get him to do the cleaning!!

@Shellybellytots FX for you - you’re not out til AF shows up!

@EltzBee Hope AF shows up sooner rather than later so you can really enjoy Xmas and get back to DTD sooner too of course!!

@APositiveMind I do see something! How many DPO are you? Maybe try another tomorrow or Monday to make sure the line darkens so you know for sure and I’ll keep my FX!!!

@Keyboard91 ditto on the headache, I had to resort to paracetamol to get to sleep last night as it was so bad! Been taking it super easy today as it's still there.

@apositivemind I could see the line. Tomorrow it should be darker if it is positive!! Surely if it was an evap that would be way later but if came up within 3-5 min it shouldn't have evaporated yet unless you have super hot wee?!!

@APositiveMind Looks like a FRER? The instructions say to wait 3 minutes before reading so if you saw it after 3 it sounds like it could be good news! Can you do another test tomorrow with FMU to confirm? fingers crossed

About 3-5 minutes?:( i had to adjust the brightness and contrast because you can't see it on an unedited photo. I can see it in person but I'm not getting my hopes up, I have a feeling it's an evap :(

@starkid what a pain! I've never used clear blue kit or OPKs (I couldn't believe the price!) But the cheapo Amazon ones I have do seem to work. Sorry if you've already said, are you temping as well?

@Keyboard91 with you there, I'm due on today and she still hasn't turned up. Today is 12dpo, my LP is usually 11 (max 12), last month was LP9. I was also hoping she would get on with it today so that the worst was over my Xmas day, I'm hosting and could do without the extra hassle lol. Usually I'm willing her not to turn up and this month I keep going to the loo and going hurry up! I'm sure she'll turn up tonight or tomorrow if not, hey ho.

Hey joining you all late in convo. I am 11 DPO AF due tomorrow - I ovulated really late day 19! Have done 5 X tests all BFN! Was really sick with really high fever on Wednesday so I think may have killed my chances this month. Everything crossed for tomorrow ....

@EltzBee @MrsEG still no sign! I don’t think it could be implantation as feels too late in the cycle. More likely just a stubborn AF. Would prefer to get the heavier part out of the way before Xmas!

DP decided to tell me his parents are visiting tomorrow morning .... as he was leaving for work this afternoon! Grr! Having to do slow housework as lower back hurts (but that’s not unusual for me). I ate 2 kit kats to make myself feel better ;)

@starkid keep with the OPKs, the surge that causes the line to get dark or dark as the control line may only last for a few hours. I keep them lined up to see the progression, I usually have a few very light or nada til a dark one appears for a day or two.

Cheapy OPK wasn't a positive just now, although did have a line which is more than has happened on those so far this cycle

@MrsEG - yep away for Christmas for 10 days with different family but going to have reeeeeally quiet sex. Especially as my room for the next week is right next to my parents

Gosh I can't keep up with this thread! Going to need to up my game! Finally have some watery CM and positive OPK today 😍 let the baby making commence!

@Keyboard91 Maybe! Vitamins haven’t really affected my cycle much but I do know for some people it can do. If AF doesnt show tomorrow keep an eye on it, people can get implantation bleeding but I think that is usually more of a pink or brown colour?

Waiting for AF is such a chore, I know she's coming imminently just wish she would bloody well hurry up about it, lol. @Keyboard91 I'm due on today and she's being stubborn about arriving. I know she is coming because of my temperature.

@DuchessofPemberley ah hun, if OPKs aren't helping don't use them, they are only beneficial if they make things easier. If they cause stress or confusion the throw them out the window for sure.

I use OPKs but along with my temperature and try to keep a eye on what fluid there is down there too. I only use cheapo ones from Amazon and I line them up so I can see the line getting darker. It would be very easy to miss the surge though sometimes.

I have to say temping does make me feel more informed about my cycle, seeing where it is and seeing temp drop so I know AF is coming. Almost to the point I think I would do it even if I wasn't ttc just to know what was happening and when I was due. Although I can't wait to go back on the pill...my skin is so awful with hormonal acne since stopping it.

@MrsEG it was due tomorrow so a day early. I don’t have the cramps I usually get before AF yet which is strange ... but I think everything can be strange when hormones are involved! I also started taking new vitamins a couple of days ago so maybe that’s affected it as some women seem to think it does/has?
