@Babytrain89 @Shellybellytots have you both beat on the cat - 8.2 kg. He was a big boy, no fat, pure muscle. And a lot of very long fur which made him look even bigger.

@DuchessofPemberley that's what I did - stopped using CB and only do cheapies and temping. CB does work for me but you gotta start way early in the cycle for it to properly work and with how much it costs, it's not worth the money.

@Keyboard91 I know what you mean about liking the ILs but just wanting the time to yourself. I'm going down south to the ILs next week and as sweet as they are, they're so different to me and my family!

I hope all you ladies are going to keep me sane through the 2WW. I've not had to endure it yet, but I get it now!!

Thanks so much everyone! It’s so nice to vent to people who understand. Usually I would lean on DH more, but it’s his first Christmas without his sister who died in pretty tragic circumstances earlier this year, so I’m trying not to put more pressure on him ☹️ To be honest that’s why I haven’t suggested SMEP or every day during the fertile window or anything. He wants a baby really badly but he doesn’t need more stress.

I think I’m going to give up on Clearblue completely. They’re too expensive and they don’t work for me. I have been temping (my temp rise was what first alerted me to the fact I’ve missed ovulation) and I’m going to get the internet cheapies off Amazon. But also I tend to ovulate within a tight enough window, so maybe I just need to dtd from cd14 to cd17 and see where that gets us.

Thank you so much for all your kind words - it really means a lot when you’re going through this rollercoaster.

Thank you @Babytrain89 @MrsEG @MrsR16 I put my feet up and watched the BBC Watership Down in bed!

Still no AF. No cramps but BBs are a bit painful so maybe AF is thinking about arriving tomorrow? Really bloated, didn’t want any dinner. Generally just don’t feel myself, feel a bit weird. Maybe I’ve got a bug about me or something.

Would rather a day to ourselves tomorrow and not in laws! But tbf they are really nice... just means I can’t relax properly until they leave in the afternoon!

@Keyboard91 I feel ya!! I'm exactly the same!! I'm just like "FFS! Just do it or don't do it!" Haha! 😂 so I'm now proper in limbo... grr! I'll see if AF arrives tomorrow

@Shellybellytots 6.5kg your cat must be huge!! Our dog is 29kg... you really know about it when he jumps on to say good morning!!!!

@MrsH497 Cocktail making sounds awesome! I only had 3 glasses of wine at my works do last night and I have had a hint of a hangover all day - I’m such a bloody lightweight!

@qwertt12 Oh bless you - moving house is SO stressful, hope you are in and much more relaxed now! My AF is due Xmas day!

@Babytrain89 Yep, they’re so, so sore today but I am 11DPO now so sounds about right! The only plus side is they look AMAZING haha!!

@MrsEG It really does get worse!! I can imagine your dog jumping on you hurt like heck! Mine hurt when I even nudge them...but again could just be AF. I think problem is everything could be a symptom if you want it to be! A few things seem different but like you I am trying to ignore!!

@shellybellytots ... wow that's a big cat! Mine was 5kg and that was heavy enough!!

No I haven't been on the pill for 2 years

It was very bizarre but my GP put it down to stress due to moving house and I had a really bad cold on the day I would usually ovulate

Only thing it could be, very bizarre but can only move forward!

I can't wait for Christmas, is anybody near there AF due date? Any maybe positives yet?

Still no sign or feeling of AF but remaining on the positive side means Xmas day drinking is all good and mum has got a cocktail making set!

@babytrain89 ah mine are so sore too but really normal for me and my cat who is enormous (6.5kg) stands on my chest every morn and Eve and seems to love to put all his body weight on my breasticles. AHH the wait gah tomorrow AF due so going to hold off testing til Monday !!!

So frustrated. After having a pinky colour wipe at 8am this morning, the rest of the day there has been NOTHING.

AF is broke me thinks grr!

I’ve text DP and said he had to get up early and finish housework because I ache, my head hurts and I’m tired and I just want to crochet in bed with a film on.

@Babytrain89 Ha! It gets so much harder the closer it gets but just think those 2 days will fly by! I only have sore boobs at the mo, nothing else, which I know could mean AF just as much as anything else! So ignoring it (well, as best I can - not much fun when the dog jumped on my chest in bed this morning though!!)

@Keyboard91 @EltzBee I’m blitzing the house tonight, DH is also hopeless at it and does half a job so I am just leaving him with his PlayStation for the night, be thinks he’s won the lotto :)

@qwertt12 Pregnancy tests can become a very expensive habit!! Any reason your AF was so late, have you only recently come off the pill or something like that?

@Blueflower22 Hi! 7DPO is very early to test especially as tests are so expensive. I try to wait til AF is due or at the very earliest 12DPO - the result will be the same anyway and you’ll get a much clearer result :) looking at negatives or obsessing over a faint line can drive a girl crazy! Try and hang on a few more days :)

@cupcakesandglitter so glad it isn't just my DH. Every now and again he goes on a tidy up or cleaning spree but usually I just end up doing it because I get fed up waiting haha.

Enjoy the wine! I might go and have a soak in the bath again to relax.

@Blueflower22 welcome. It can take 10 or so days for implantation, and hcg only starts getting produced after that, and then it has to reach concentration enough to be detectable. Like you have already read, wait to test. It's difficult to resist but tests are expensive to waste and getting a bfn is disheartening. It won't change the eventual result:)

@EltzBee me!! By the time DH comes and asks if he can help, I've already done the jobs he was supposed to do 😂 he gets distracted verrrry easily!! Mind you, he loves Mrs Hinch and loves to antibac everything, but no so much trust up. That pavlova sounds amazing!! I'm being a bit ruthless and I'm going to have wine anyway, I don't think this is my month so 🍷🍷

Hey guys hope I can join.

I'm cycle day 7dpo and tested so far had no positive.
This is my first cycle of using OPKs!
Hope to get positive news as a lot of people are saying it's too early to receive a positive yet.
I just don't feel pregnant though 😭

@cupcakesandglitter nope still no sign of her, got a headache and dull ache down there like she's thinking about coming but had that since Thurs. She'll turn up later or tomorrow I'm sure, she's surprised me before with barely any notice after all!

Going to do a pavlova wreath with raspberries, strawberries and pomnegranate with fresh cream, and some dark chocolate over the top too :)

Mmm ice cream! I was gonna have a cheeky G and T tonight if AF arrived, lol.

@Keyboard91 nice! I've wrapped DHs gifts but still have a few more to do for both our parents and his nephews. Then done! Groceries bejng delivered tomorow morning and then just a trip to the farm to pick up the meat.

Lots of housework going on by the sounds of it! I ended up blitzing the kitchen last night before having a bath, DH is meant to do it but he forgot. He came and asked what I was doing and said he could do it... if already washed up, emptied and loaded dishwasher and was cleaning the hob at that point though. Anyone else find they are much quicker a cleaning than their DHs? HmmWinkGrin

Such an exciting time,

My period was 20 days late last time which never happens I've wasted so much money on pregnancy tests

I think it was due to stressing over trying and having a cold

So trying to enjoy ourselves

How is everyone finding it?

@EltzBee don't want to get your hopes up but I've seen that some people have a temp drop but AF never turns up 😊 still no sign of her? Also DH won't be home until late today so I'm going to go clean the whole house, light some candles, have a bath and eat shitloads of ice cream and maybe wine. What pavlova you going for? X
