Totally with you on the gin, I got given a bottle of really nice raspberry gin the other day which I've not even opened. Oh well, it'll keep! :)

@MrsEG hah I was the same all day yesterday!

Oh gosh no I couldn't drink now I'm pregnant, even a small one. I know some people do but I'm too much of a worrier. I just went out and bought some de-caff teabags to reduce my caffeine too. Nobody would bat much of an eye lid at me not drinking, thankfully.

My FR test line came up really quick this morning and then as it dried it's is now a very clear deep pink line. So excited.

Well 3 days late and AF has just started well not properly but think she's on her way now. Oh well x

Ah @EltzBee I'm so pleased for you 😭 no idea when it's due - currently CD28 so could be anywhere from today until end of this week I think. Cycles have become irregular so no idea 😩 although having EWCM on CD14 was different for me, I think taking pregnacare has made my EWCM noticeable! I've had a few cramps too - a couple of nights ago I was bent over and there was a really horrible pain in my stomach but I feel like every month my body does something new so 😂😂

@cupcakesandglitter thanks, I took that about a minute after doing it, now it's 'dry' it's a lovely clear line :D

Oh what a pain that DH took the FRERs with him, d'oh! When was AF due?? It only takes one sperm to make it, you're not out til she shows. Remember on Friday I was adamant she was coming!!!

The only thing different for me this month was feeling like I had a UTI or something, and had sore nipples a few times. Other than feeling a bit crampy and bloated (which I always got in tww, it's just continuing) I don't feel any different. I think it's gonna take some time to sink in!!

I'm still waiting on AF. DH took the FRERs to work by accident so no testing for me this morning... I've got the Prosecco and wine ready anyway, I've looked at my calendar and we didn't DTD anytime around when I think I ovulated so I'm certain I'm out this month. Just want AF to turn up!! I've had massively sore nipples for the last three days 😭😭

Has anyone else symptom spotted to the point they doubt themselves? I've had to take pictures of my boobs much to DH's delight because I can't tell if they're bigger/darker. They seem different but then I'm sure it's all in my head! I don't even know my own tatas anymore!!

@EltzBee @Shellybellytots my mum is also a nurse but she can't keep a secret to save her life, so I wouldn't be telling her until I want the whole world to know!

@Shellybellytots always handy to have a nurse in the family! My mum knows we've been TTC but think I might try and wait til 12 weeks still...

@EltzBee That is the dilemma to tell or not to tell. I think I would tell my mom (she is a nurse) so nice to phone if you are not sure on anything and talk about symptoms etc.

@Shellybellytots I know it's weird to think there's a little 'thing' inside me multiplying and growing already. Apparently it's the size of a poppyseed at the moment. Keeping fingers crossed it's going to be a healthy 9 months and he's a sticky bean!
I really want to tell my Mum but trying to resist! lol

@Eltzbee congratulations magical Christmas for you! At least you don't have to buy any more tests!! Wow how amazing still blows my mind that ... You know ... Things are growing in there !!!

@MrsEG @thosethreewords ha thanks I have just had a really hot lavender salt bath. It has decompressed the sore BBs and have started cramping now and pink has now appeared. Never thought I would be happy to see my AF!

Bath = new me. I am going to try no tests at all this cycle ...baaaaa who am I kidding I will probably give in. But I am going to try my best to focus on being fit and healthy and try push ttc to the back. Now I need to motivate myself to get off my fat behind.... Fishing rod attached to my back with a chocolate dangling in front seems like the only way forward right now ...

@MrsEG I was going to do the Digital one tomorrow or later this week :) they're a lot less sensitive from what I've read (and bloody expensive) so want to give it the best chance lol.

@Shellybellytots I did mine yesterday first on a Poundland test strip (3 strips for a quid) and could see the faint line on that, so got out the Boots own-brand one which was a big fat positive clear as day. I've done a FR branded one earlier and couldn't believe the price :o

Today's test attached, First Response one (managed to pick up rapid response but not early response, buy it's BFP so it doesn't matter!)

@thosethreewords I'm not a big drinker anyway so shouldn't be an issue. If we go anywhere I'll drive us home so sorted there.

@FlapJackered I did the test first thing yday and could see a faint line appearing so called DH out of bed and said honey, I need to borrow your eyes as I think we may be pregnant. He was so excited too.

Still can't believe it and now to keep fingers crossed and keep it quiet!

@Shellybellytots that sound so frustrating, love! FX something happens soon, the waiting (esp over Christmas!) must be torture. Mother Nature is messing about!
