Aww @MrsLBear such fantastic news!! Good clear line and a digital thumbs up as well! Brilliant way to start the new year! I may consider trying the CB ovulation tests after a couple of cycles of trying.

@cupcakesandglitter you poor thing I agree with the other ladies give it a few more days then GP appointment. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Got good feelings for us all in 2019 ladies.
X

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 11:49

Thanks for letting me know @Keyboard91 xx
thanks @EltzBee And @MrsLBear Xx

I've called the doctor because I can feel myself panicking (I have anxiety) and it's ruining my mood. A chat with my doctor will put me at ease I think! Just waiting for a callback, will keep you updated x

MrsLBear · 31/12/2018 11:42

Thank you so much to all of you!! 😘😘😘😘
It's so surreal! I don't think I've gotten my head round it all. Seems more like a weird dream.
I did a cb digital and it came up with 1-2 weeks! So I'm trying to keep positive and hopeful for a sticky bean 🤞🏼

Sorry to hear that @cupcakesandglitter I really hope you get some answers soon. Either way, as being in limbo is the absolute worst.

I've got everything crossed for you girls that you all get your BFP! You all deserve it! I hope I'm still welcome here, I started my journey on this thread!
Thank you all for your lovely messages.

Michelle2018 · 31/12/2018 11:40

@EltzBee thanks for your message. I have a CB digital to use but was waiting for a line on the internet one before using as they are super expensive. Crazy how much research you do when TTC!!! I'm actively trying to relax but it's having the opposite effect!

EltzBee · 31/12/2018 11:35

@Michelle2018 try a better test, FR or even a pharmacy own brand are good. Boots one brought my bfp up day after missed period as soon as I saw a huge spike in my temp.

Internet cheapie tests aren't always as accurate as they claim.

@cupcakesandglitter might be worth giving the GP a call. I think NHS advice is to of AF is so far late.

Michelle2018 · 31/12/2018 11:31

Hi guys, just an update, another BFN on the one step tests, these are internet cheapies. I'm now 14 days late for my period, keep getting cramps, am moody and still have the sore boobs. Does anyone know whether a doctor will consider taking bloods at this point? Don't want to waste their time making an appointment if it's likely they say to wait until I have "missed" another period. So confused right now. Congrats on the recent BFPs for everyone Smile

Keyboard91 · 31/12/2018 11:07

@cupcakesandglitter my sister is a midwife and she said that some people don’t excrete enough hormone for a hpt to work properly, but that it shows up on bloods. She had a lady that kept getting bfn and that when she was finally referred for a scan (insupportive gp) she was 5 months!!! Maybe wait until Monday, POAS if no AF and then GP will have to listen :)

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 10:52

Thanks @KatBeCool maybe I'll wait until next week to call then xx

KatBeCool · 31/12/2018 10:50

@cupcakesandglitter I had a friend who never had it show on a hpt, but the bloods proved it. But you do need to wait a bit longer for that. I'd say at least one more week. Just remember, if you're pregnant, it'll still be there, poas or not.

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 10:28

@stormtrooperjulian @Keyboard91 I do get on quite well with my doctor but I know he'll say maybe I ovulated late... I think I'm going to wait until Friday? Then I'll call, but I thought if there isn't enough hormone to show up on a HPT, it won't show on bloods? X

Jessikka · 31/12/2018 10:26

Thanks ladies I feel better. Until this morning I was just playing along in my happy little bubble but this morning I let myself panic a little.

I'm back on the positivity train now - that was a close one. Haha!

Xx

stormtrooperjulian · 31/12/2018 10:25

@cupcakesandglitter that’s so frustrating! Is it possible you ovulated really late? Maybe if AF or BFP doesn’t show up in the next few days you should consider going to the doctor to see if they have any ideas on what’s happening

@Jessikka I really struggled for a few weeks after coming off birth control (I had the implant). I had pretty much every pregnant symptom in the book, I guess due to the hormone crash or whatever, but the worst was the constant nausea. I lost over half a stone cos it was putting me off food. I also had a lot of pinching and cramping in my lower abdomen, sore boobs, dizziness. I think it was pretty much 4 weeks on the dot after implant removal when I felt properly normal again, which is when my first AF started.

Jessikka · 31/12/2018 10:25

@cupcakesandglitter I can handle the nausea and I can handle the cramps but what i CANNOT handle is the pulsing in my lady bits! Haha!

It's making me want to pee - I averaged 2hours last night.

Keyboard91 · 31/12/2018 10:24

@cupcakesandglitter maybe time to book a GP appointment and ask for a blood test?

@Jessikka when I came off cerazette years ago it took 6 months for my cycle to regulate and I had withdrawal symptoms for months (pregnancy symptoms). Cramps, nausea, random spotting, sore boobs - the lot. I probably spent more on pg tests during that time than I do now. But everyone is different- that’s just my experience. You probably just need to give it time for your hormones etc to settle and just track symptoms on Ovia or similar until they settle

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 10:22

@Jessikka the month I had my implant removed, I had pretty much every pg symptom (including cramps) and was naively convinced I was pregnant!! It's the massive change in hormones that can cause them, I'd log them in an app and monitor, it takes time for your body to settle x

Jessikka · 31/12/2018 10:19

Sorry, that should read "slightly nauseous again too"and later "my pill"

Jessikka · 31/12/2018 10:18

Sorry to interrupt the festivities but are you able to help me with something pretty please? I have tried googling for the last hour but internet says I'm pregnant which I'm not - I can't be.

My withdrawal bleed ended 27th and for the last 3 days ive had cramping and on and off nausea. As I posted before I actually had a glass of wine and threw up. Not happy; I was in a restaurant and it was an expensive bottle. Grrr.

I've gone from lower left pelvic cramps of very obvious strength and now it's an all over ache. I'm feeling slightly too - not enough to loose appetite but generally bleugh!

Anyone experience this after stopping bc?

I'm now a little worried that my hill has been hiding something for years because surely I shouldn't still be cramping.Sad

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 10:16

@stormtrooperjulian @Keyboard91 No more pink stuff at all, cervix is completely clear so I think it was just from DTD last night. I'm CD35, average 30 day cycle. Was due on Christmas but then Flo kept changing it (every time I put in sore boobs) but it's saying I'm officially two days late. I'm just fed up now 😩

Keyboard91 · 31/12/2018 10:10

Congratulations @MrsLBear !!!! FX it’s a sticky one for you :)

@cupcakesandglitter I really feel for you. Has the pink stuff stopped? How many days late are you now?

I keep getting cramps low down in my tummy. CD9. Have had for a few days now. And weird fluttery sensations. I have IBS so is most likely that but never had these before. Messing with my head! Didn’t sleep well last night either and was so damn thirsty all the time - woken up tired and with a headache so am retreating to the sofa with Netflix.

stormtrooperjulian · 31/12/2018 10:09

Welcome @Syncope

OMG @MrsLBear what a way to end the year! Congratulations!

@cupcakesandglitter sorry you got another BFN. What CD are you now compared to your normal cycle?

@FlapJackered you’re not out til AF arrives. It will happen for you, don’t give up hope

Jessikka · 31/12/2018 10:04

Congratulations @MrsLBear - very exciting!
Put a smile on my face, very happy for you.

Smile
cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 09:57

BFN again for me, but no more bleeding. God knows what's going on 😩

FlapJackered · 31/12/2018 09:42

OMG @MrsLBear CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is such good news and has lifted me out of my self pity party! What a great line! You must be over the moon! At least one of us New Year's Eve testers has a bfp!
As much as I would like to have hope I think I would get a line now if I was going to.

@KatBeCool @TrashKitten10 @Crossfitgirl thanks lovelies. I am either 12/13dpo so I am pretty sure I would see a line now if there was going to be. @Crossfitgirl what dpo did you get your last negative frer?
My temp is all over the place because I am not sleeping properly, I woke up at 4am and temp was 36.25. Then went back to sleep and woke up at 5am and temp was 36.38 then went back to sleep and woke up at 8.30 and temp was 36.60! 😂🙈 so I don't know what to make of that!

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 09:41

Sorry @FlapJackered try not to get disheartened yet, AF isn't here!! Some women don't get a positive for a while. Also I think maybe we've chugged too much alcohol this month 😂 xx

@MrsLBear congratulations oh my god ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ so super happy for you, what a good bloody line too!! Xx

Hey @Crossfitgirl yeah!! My cervix was super soft last night (never felt it like this before) DTD with DH and then went to the loo and had pink. I'm just about to get out of bed (lazy cow I know 😂) and check if AF is here xx

KittieKath · 31/12/2018 09:39

YAY! @mrslbear such wonderful news! You give me hope that one day it will happen... to all of us!

How so very exciting! Sending you excited hugs and wishing you a healthy and happy nine-months.... 😊

@flapjackered I got my AF today so will join you on being down in the dumps. But going to do a sober January, tons of exercise and get my body in peak baby making shape for next ovulation. Here’s to a pregnant 2019!

Happy new year everyone! xxx
