Hey ladies,

Just wanted to pop on here to say hello and happy new year! I'm on CD15 and just waiting for a positive OPK. Doing SMEP again this month. Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs on this thread in 2019! Xxx

Jessikka · 31/12/2018 19:13

I'm a happy little trier tonight guys!

For the first time I have EWCM! woohoo! I'm super happy! I feel like I'm properly trying now and not in my "only just started so no idea where I am" limbo!

AnnaMC214 · 31/12/2018 18:55

Thank you all for the welcome Smile.

I thought this looked like a lovely bunch of supportive people and this ttc thing is already in danger of making me crazy!

@Babytrain89 I'm also out this month and on the fizz tonight after spending my ttw over Christmas abstaining for absolutely no reason as it turned out!

@cupcakesandglitter I'm really sorry you're having such a hard time of it and you're DH isn't any help. Mine is always guaranteed to say something to make it worse whenever I'm upset!

Wishing you all lots of success and baby dust in 2019! Smile

FlapJackered · 31/12/2018 18:48

Happy New Year everyone!!!!
I am taking advantage of my depressing bfn this morning and having a last cocktail fuelled evening (which I will no doubt regret! 😂) before a dry and active January! 🎆 🍸 see you in 2019! ❤️

FlapJackered · 31/12/2018 18:45

Welcome @MrsFraserB, @AnnaMC214 I am with you on the bus threads they go too fast for me! This one is such a lovely thread full of lovely people. I think I would have lost the plot by now without them.

MrsFraserB · 31/12/2018 18:44

@cupcakesandglitter falling out is never nice, hope you make up soon!

@babytrain89 that's a lovely (and exciting) thought! Fingers crossed.

Thanks @katbecool @stormtrooperjulian hi!

I'm having a night in with husband. Non-alcoholic fizz for me! Would love to be pregnant in Jan but know it could take longer or not happen at all, we just don't know! Earliest we could know would be 13th Jan I think.

Wishing everyone a happy 2019 and crossing fingers for all of us.

FlapJackered · 31/12/2018 18:42

@cupcakesandglitter I'm sorry hun. As @GemmaJen says tomorrow is another day and another year. We are here if you need us. X

KatBeCool · 31/12/2018 18:40

@stormtrooperjulian I'm curious, you get ovulation pains before ovulation? I always thought it happens during ovulation.

@cupcakesandglitter it'll pass, we're here for you.

GemmaJen · 31/12/2018 18:31

@cupcakesandglitter I'm so sorry chick. Take it easy, tomorrow is a whole new year, the BFP is coming X

Babytrain89 · 31/12/2018 18:24

@cupcakesandglitter aww sorry to hear you are in limbo and that your DH isn't helping. I find that my OH is far too logical about stuff...which I find infuriating and if I get upset about it and there is no logical solution immediately he struggles. Maybe it's the same for yours? Hope you're ok and everything is better in the morning.

@MrsLBear congratulations!!! There is no doubting that positive.

Hope you are all doing ok! Here's hoping there is a full house of BFPs in 2019!! I'm sat here with a glass of prosecco (I'm very much out and into my next cycle) thinking how different next NYE could be! Good luck to everyone and a Happy New Year.

stormtrooperjulian · 31/12/2018 18:10

Ah @cupcakesandglitter I didn’t see your post before I posted. Sorry the doctor wasn’t more helpful! Did they have any suggestions on why your af could be late? I hope you can make up with your DH soon. Does he understand that you need some extra TLC at the moment?

stormtrooperjulian · 31/12/2018 18:08

Welcome @MrsFraserB and @AnnaMC214

I’ve started to get ov pains now so should hopefully ov on Wednesday or Thursday. I assume it won’t be tomorrow as I haven’t had a +ve opk yet.

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 18:07

Hi all. Back from the doctors - negative urine test, I've been told to wait a week and see what happens. But pointless really, knew that myself. Just not going to test and wait for AF. Row with DH went from bad to worse and so I'm just gonna go to bed. Thankyou all for being there - Happy New Year x

KatBeCool · 31/12/2018 17:55

Welcome @MrsFraserB and @AnnaMC214. I had Mirena coil as well, for eight years, and no AF during that time, but it came back right away after removal.

@cupcakesandglitter men can be oblivious to how we feel in response to their actions and while they think something isn't a big deal (like not waking up early) they also think it's not such a big deal to us. So his actions most likely weren't malicious since I heard you speak highly of him before. Hugs. If you're a planner, explain to him that it highly upsets you when he doesn't care to adhere to plans, especially if they're important to you or you're having a hard time.

AnnaMC214 · 31/12/2018 17:40

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping you won't mind if I join too?
I've done a little bit of lurking since DH and I started ttc #1 in Sep but finding all the 'bus' threads a bit confusing!

A bit about me:
I'm 32 and DH is 36.
I had my Mirena removed in Sep which I had for 6 years and before that I was on the pill.
I had convinced myself Dec was going to be our month but AF is currently visiting. Sad

MrsFraserB · 31/12/2018 17:27

Hi,

I'm new here.

34 TTC #1.

Can I join this thread?

Thanks!Smile

In for New

FlapJackered · 31/12/2018 16:26

@cupcakesandglitter so sorry you're having such a rough time and that is really not good that your DH is making everything harder. Does he know how upset you are? I really hope you get some answers from the doc. Let us know how you get on. X

stormtrooperjulian · 31/12/2018 14:05

@cupcakesandglitter sorry your DH is being a bit of a twat, has he apologised yet? Hope the doctors appointment goes well, let us know what happens

@Michelle2018 do you know when you ovulated?

@MrsH497 I’ve got a CB ovulation test in my Amazon shopping basket ready for next cycle, hoping it will be a bit clearer than the cheap ones

EltzBee · 31/12/2018 13:27

@cupcakesandglitter ah hun. I struggle with anxiety as well (I take a low dose of sertraline daily which thankfully keeps it in check to the most part).

@Michelle2018 oh they really are ridiculous money. I've saved my Digital for tomorrow Grin despite getting my bfp over a week ago on a Boots and FR test. I heard they're so much less sensitive.

The boots own brand aren't too pricey if you get there :)

@cupcakesandglitter keep positive about GP appointment and let us all know.

I couldn't have got through the past 6 months without you ladies.

MrsH497 · 31/12/2018 12:40

@cupcakesandglitter oh hun definitely a cuppa maybe some biscuits or chocolate and snuggle up. Give DH a cuddle and have a good cry let it out xx

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 12:38

Thanks @Keyboard91 yeah I think tea and Netflix would do the trick. Doctor called back, I explained the BFP then BFNs and he's booked me in for an appointment later. Have a feeling I'm just going to get fobbed off but we'll see x

Keyboard91 · 31/12/2018 12:31

@cupcakesandglitter oh sweetie :( I’m sorry :( men just don’t get it sometimes. My DP can be the same. You need a cup of tea, a blanket on the sofa and Netflix to distract you until Dr calls xx

cupcakesandglitter · 31/12/2018 12:20

Thanks @MrsLBear x

Currently crying in bed after a stupid row with DH. We were supposed to wake up early and go shopping - again he woke up late, I didn't say anything to him I just got up and showered. He got up in a miserable mood which has just pissed me off, I'm already stressing and I've said I just don't want to do anything today now, my mood has completely dropped. DH thinks it's my fault and I'm being irrational. I just want to sleep but need to wait for the doctor to call

MrsLBear · 31/12/2018 12:18

Thanks @MrsH497!! I'd highly recommend them as it's clear when you o (I know it's still not certain) but that with temping I could really pin point it too. Also it helped with my stress of "is my body even working properly". They are a bit pricey but I thought that way at least I knew what to look out for next cycle.

MrsLBear · 31/12/2018 12:17

Yeah let us know what the doctor says @cupcakesandglitter.

My best friend suffers from anxiety so I totally get why you'd be concerned. Get your mind at ease ❤️
