Bring on the Soy Isoflavones! I am hoping they bring forward ovulation as at the moment ovulation is due when DH is away.

Thank you ladies - you are all so kind and helpful! Feel much better about it now. But I just have to remind myself now that this is MONTH ONE and to chill out.
I'm going to try and focus on my exam at the end of the month, having a healthy and dry January, and getting back to exercising regularly. I always notice I get more anxious/ down when I've not exercised much so need to address that. X

@KatBeCool apparently you can get ovulation pain before, during or after ovulation, for different reasons. I tend to get it before, which apparently is caused by the follicles swelling ready for ovulation. Definitely feeling it today and opk is getting darker so ov should hopefully happen in the next day or so.

Welcome @ohio91 I also find it worrying not knowing whether DH and I are even fertile or not, would be nice to know for definite that it will happen for us at some point

@ValidUser sorry about AF arriving. Don’t lose hope, you’re having the surgery for a reason and you will have your BFP one day soon

@thosethreewords that dip isn't low at all. You're 100% still in for a good chance. I've heard of loads who's temped dropped slightly. Also 8dpo!! That could be a good sign!!! Fx for you! Keep us posted!! Mine fluctuated a bit like that too so I wouldn't read too much into it unless it's coupled with af arriving.

@thosethreewords the month I fell pregnant my temp dipped to the same as yours on 9/10 dpo, wouldn’t look at that as you being out at all x

@thosethreewords thanks. Due date based on period is 31st Aug, but based on ovulation 2nd Sept. I guess the dating scan will confirm...taking each day as it comes and praying he is a sticky bean.

Have attached my chart for the month I got my bfp. I honestly thought I was out, I was on here adamant my period was coming. Goes to show you just never know. Fx for you.

Thanks for your experience with your chart and temp - that has made me feel much better. My DH asks me every morning how my temperature is doing - he's just so broody and it broke my heart this morning to see the lower number. He's not woken up yet to ask me so at least now I can say it's not necessarily a bad sign. Thanks!

@thosethreewords my temperature dipped below the baseline and I was convinced AF was coming, but like the ladies here said to me then, you're not out til she shows. How long is your usual luteal phase?

My temperature went right up the following day after the dip and I got my bfp. I can pop my chart in if it's helpful?

I finally got the courage this morning to do my clear blue digital, too...

Hope you ladies don't mind me lingering here. I've found your help and support over the past 6 months invaluable. It's got me through with only a smidge of craziness rather than full blown madness.

I'm feeling despondent today because my temperature has dipped. Initially yesterday I thought it could be implantation but seems to be quite a big dip 😩😩
Really hope I'm not out for jan :(

Hello 2019! Lots of BFP's please

Hi all, thank you again for the support ❤️ so my evening got worse when I went to the loo and have my pre-AF spotting. Looks like this month wasn't meant to be... felt pretty shitty but just had a nice meal with DH. Had a massive sob, but it's mostly out of my system and I'm so ready to start 2019. @ValidUser we're practically cycle twins now, let's get our BFPs!!!

We're prepared and financially able for children and it's just like a punishment for a childhood infection. Paranoid? Me? Never!

@syncope using an app, which reckons af due on 13th but it's probably wrong as I was late last month by almost a week. I guess that means ov coulda been out too. Think I'll try the OPKs if not pregnant in Jan

@Jessikka coming off hormonal contraception can give you all sorts of symptoms! I'm sure that's exacerbated by the fact that you're so much more aware of any symptoms when TTC as you're watching out for them. Fingers crossed that it all settles down quickly for you.

I've been lurking quite a lot for the last 6 weeks probably. I posted once or twice on one of the Jan bus threads but pretty much just a lurker of all the threads lol.

Age - 27
TTC - #1
Cycle - 2
CD - 13

We sort of tried last month, but got dates all wrong because I honestly didn't know what I was doing or looking for in terms of ovulation. I came off cerazette in September and since then have had what appears to be very normal periods. Which is a little unusual because before is started taking the pill 5 years ago I had quite irregular periods and while taking the pill I probably had AF show up 5 times in 5 years... But im hoping the fact it seems regular now is a good sign.

This month we have been trying properly. I've been doing opks, using apps, using preseed and taking prenatals. Trying to be optimistic, but it's terrifying not knowing if my DH and I are even fertile! haven't had a surge on the OPKs yet, going by the apps I should be having a surge today or tomorrow. We have been DTD almost every night for the last week and going to keep it going until I see that positive OPK so we have all bases covered 😂

I'll be ringing in the new year 5 hours later than the rest of you seeing as I am living in america but I hope everyone has a lovely evening and baby dust to all of us for 2019 ✨
