@KatBeCool have you tested yet? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

MrsAW2018 · 07/01/2019 19:08

Thanks @19Bee2 I need all the distractions I can get. I'm literally obsessing over it, it's all I can think about! I think I'm driving DH crazy as I keep talking about it all the time and there's only so many times one can ask when it's acceptable to POAS! Ooh enjoy DTD! I remember the first time we did it after deciding to TTC and it was really special :) make sure you enjoy it and make it a chore! Xx

KatBeCool · 07/01/2019 18:21

Thank you all for luck wishes, there better be something positive for me!

@19Bee2 I remember our first "proper" time, it was indeed exciting and it felt all jittery. Good luck!

19Bee2 · 07/01/2019 18:15

Evening all.
Good luck for tomorrow @KatBeCool Keeping everything crossed for you.

Sending good luck and happy distractions to those of you in the TWW as well @Random 2468 @MrsAW2018 I kind of wish I was joining you there, though. Although, I'm at the start of the fertile window so it's going to be a busy week! We did last night for the first proper time since TTC and it felt so strange to do it for the first time ever hoping for a pregnancy. An exciting time (trying to hold onto the excitement rather than nerves over here!).

@cupcakesandglitter Also, a little late to this but I would wholeheartedly recommend Krakow for a city break. I've been a couple of times and haven't found anywhere that beats it.

Random2468 · 07/01/2019 18:02

@MrsAW2018 thats great! All we can do is our best and then our bodies have to do the rest. I think thats something really positive to focus on though this TWW actually that you did all you could so what will be will be. Fx for us all!

MrsAW2018 · 07/01/2019 17:47

@Random2468 aww I feel exactly the same. I'm about 5dpo I think and it's already draaaggiiing! I've not had any symptoms either but I have got a relatively good feeling about this cycle, I mean we did everything we could so fingers crossed it will pay off! Such a nerve wracking time though and you're just willing your body to do its job!!

Random2468 · 07/01/2019 17:43

I can't believe how slow this TWW is going!! How am I still only 4 dpo?! I was 4dpo at lunch time and this morning when I checked?! 😂 Argggh. How do you temper your expectations during this time, I'm already thinking forward to if it's positive how great it will be! Also a lot of you ladies seem to get some major signs during this period of time! Maybe that's just a really good sign for you all? Even when I got pregnant the first time I had no symptoms till 6 weeks so can't imagine feeling any different in this wait. Naturally that has now made me worry there's something wrong with me 🙈 This TTC lark has turned me into a maniac!

KatBeCool · 07/01/2019 17:30

@EltzBee hahaha, I've learned to pee in a pot since I started using opks!

@MrsH497 it's hard, isn't it? During those early days in tww you tend to notice every little twinge, poke, and cramp.

EltzBee · 07/01/2019 17:15

@KatBeCool good luck for tomorrow, let us know how you get on. I didn't believe my 1st test and re-tested with another brand straight away so I'd recommend peeing in to a pot!!! lol

MrsH497 · 07/01/2019 16:45

Distracting myself with holiday researching! Got slightly right sided cramping today due on 19th so probably around 4/5 dpo don't want to get any hopes up at all! X

starkid · 07/01/2019 16:05

@KatBeCool - thanks for the tip! I know, I'm not going to repurchase tham (got them free originally) hence why trying to ration them... will use it tomorrow and hopefully will still be ok though!
Also, fx for a bfp for you tomorrow :)

KatBeCool · 07/01/2019 15:54

@FlapJackered yep, 13dpo! I definitely aware of my boobs, as @EltzBee said, so hopefully it's a bfp for me tomorrow because this pain, while bearable, is insane. First thing this morning DH asked how my boobs were feeling! It's a separate entity now 🙄

FlapJackered · 07/01/2019 15:49

@KatBeCool 13dpo! That is long for you no? Keeping everything crossed for you!! (It sounds really positive though!!) 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@RanchoRelaxo congratulations on reaching the 12 week milestone!! I hope you're starting to feel less sicky now. X

KatBeCool · 07/01/2019 15:45

@Jessikka that sounds awful. Is it normal for you to be in so much pain?

@Crossfitgirl 12 days was the longest and happened only once. I'm determined to wait until tomorrow!

@starkid be sure you don't go more than 48 hours between CB tests or it resets. That and the price is why I stopped using it.

EltzBee · 07/01/2019 15:11

@Jessikka ah bless you! Keep the paracetamol and a hot water bottle to hand. I know what you mean, I WFH quite a bit and whilst it's often great when you're feeling rough, you do lack the distraction of the office which sometimes forces you to socialise and not notice it.

My first 'cycle' off the pill was a painful one, I did get positive OPK so think things did start working quickly. I found each month different on the pain front! Biggest thing I'd say it keep hydrated, it does help.

Jessikka · 07/01/2019 14:54

Hi @EltzBee so exciting for you!

I'm having an awful day! 6/7dpo and cramping so bad I'm in agony. Sharp horrible pains on my right side, vomiting (though I fully suspect that was from eating whilst cramping)and dizzy. I think it's exaggerated also because I work from home and I have little distraction - im not walking around a busy shop floor etc and talking... I'm just sat here on my own feeing sorry for myself.

To put into perspective, I've cramped so much over the last week that my stomach muscles are tender as though I've done an abs workout. Ridiculous. Probably side effects of leaving the pill a few weeks ago.

Hope everything goes nice and smoothly for you x

EltzBee · 07/01/2019 14:19

Afternoon ladies, how is everyone? Hope you're all doing okay.
I had my GP appointment this morning, won't be seeing anyone now for a whole month til my booking in appointment as they were fully booked til then! 6+2 today and Dr said due date is 31/08. Nausea has kicked in and total exhaustion, and sore boobs ALL THE TIME! I don't think I've ever been so aware of my boobs, I'm sure they're growing every day at the moment.

starkid · 07/01/2019 12:22

CD6 today, negative digital opk yesterday, but didn't do one today as trying to reserve the last of my clearblue digital tests as I don't have enough to do up to when I usually ovulate (more like CD16-19)!
So might have to supplement with the cheapie internet ones in between just so I don't miss any possible early surges... Aiming to dtd tomorrow and every few days just so all bases covered (then extra if we get a peak ovulation test!).
Docs appointment Friday anyway so will see what comes from that.

@RanchoRelaxo - wow can't believe you're already 13 weeks, doesn't seem that long ago you were on here :) congrats on your scan going well!

stormtrooperjulian · 07/01/2019 12:17

@Random2468 that amount of dtd sounds good. We did O-3 O-1 O and O+1 so hopefully we’re covered too. We actually did SMEP but more by coincidence than design!

@TTC34 welcome!

@cupcakesandglitter I’d recommend Prague or Venice for a city break

@MrsH497 I love Disney World! And if you go to Florida you can do a day at Busch Gardens which has better rollercoasters too.

@Crossfitgirl that’s interesting that your DH could feel a difference based on how horny he was! My DH sometimes comments ‘that felt like a lot’ or whatever but I haven’t noticed a pattern. Although my DH is always in the mood so maybe that wouldn’t affect him so much!

@KatBeCool I think you should test tomorrow!

@Jessikka the nausea sounds like a promising symptom. Good that your cycle got right back on track after stopping the pill too!

Jessikka · 07/01/2019 12:00

I'm 6/7dpo and I've had cramps every day.
Over the last few they seem to focus around the right hand side and today after days of feeling nauseous I've been sick during breakfast - probably ate too much whilst cramping but this is the first time I've had an appetite and I wanted cereal! Haha!

Peeing every hour again too. Stupid progesterone.

On a plus side now I'm 3weeks with no pill my acne has completely gone and so I'm smiling in the mirror Smile.... until another cramp comes of course!!!

Crossfitgirl · 07/01/2019 11:42

@katbecool aaahhh. Aahhhhhhh ahhhhh I can't even tell you not to test. I totally would be doing at 13dpo. You've waited all weekend thats really good! What's your longest LP been so far? To be fair you can justify not doing it today as it won't be fmu. Save it for fmu in the morning xxx

KatBeCool · 07/01/2019 11:28

@Crossfitgirl I'm 13dpo now, Friday frer was negative which is why I'm waiting, I don't want to see another bfn. This long of an LP is unusual for me.

Crossfitgirl · 07/01/2019 11:24

@katbecool how many dpo are you?? Put the FRER somewhere thats annoying to get to. Then you'll be less tempted!!

I made it to the gym and did some light weights yay!

KatBeCool · 07/01/2019 09:55

@Crossfitgirl my GP was strongly recommending going to the gym during the pregnancy. Maybe not for crossfit though 🤣.

Someone hide my frer from me and close every place where I can buy it! I promised myself not to test until tomorrow. My temp is still up, boobs are literally killing me, I don't even need to squish them or poke them to know if they're sore, they're sore on their own at all times.
