Waiting to TTC next month!

Hi!

Is there anyone else who is waiting to TTC until next month? Support thread here if needed! Would be nice to speak to some others during the wait!

Nothing is happening for me, I’m having tests for pcos, every month makes me feel like shit when AF arrives 😩

Sorry to hear that @gismosslave Sad my first period in Dec after coming off the pill was horrendous. But I've been on contraception for 7 years, it always was quite painful and heavy when I was younger, so not sure if it's related to the pill or that's just how my periods are! Have you got a hot water bottle? I found walking round with one tucked into my trousers helped!

Well I’m out this month, coming off the pill has screwed up my cycles and I’m having the most painful period since having my little one 😩 it’s actually woke me up in pain today.

I have 4 days of my pill left. Heading skiing so I am hoping my period is finished before I fly (fingers crossed) and then we will be starting! Grin So excited its not even funny! Nervous about it too though! I know it will take time for my body to regulate again but it will be fun in the mean time Wink Wink

According to my app I ovulated around the 8th but I still havent had a positive OPK.
But I've also had a uti this week so I'm not holding out much hope for this month.

@bea179 its tough resisting the temptation to test early isnt it! I'm hoping I can last until my period is due in 10 days.

I think I ovulated on the 3rd (not using OPKs yet - just apps! Plus I had shooting pains). We DTD a few times, so just waiting to see if my period comes on Thursday now!
Yesterday I was getting weird little electric shock type pains in my boobs, but I'm looking for any symptom! With an early test I could test this weekend but will try not to!

I'm still waiting for a positive OPK too. I had a faint line the first day I tested but I've had no line at all since then. Does that mean anything or do I just concentrate on getting a positive?

Happy new year ladies! I hope to hear about lots of positives soon!

I think we're taking a play it by ear approach - I'll be tracking ovulation but seeing how we feel each month to actively try. I'm thinking a few months down the line, at least that way I can get end of year salary/bonus again as I don't know how that will all work if I go on maternity before then. I don't know if I'm 100% ready to go for it, still nervous about taking that step!
