Just a question ladies? Has anyone who’s expecting experienced a bit of a throb/stich type pain in the right side?

thejollytrolleydolly · 22/12/2018 12:13

Congratulations @Isabelle31 lovely to see another positive!! I'm in the run up to ovulation now so trying to get lots of nookie in! Managed to dtd twice last night so I'm off to a good start! Flo says I'm ovulating in 5 days so the tww will be starting all over again!

Good luck to those still waiting for their BFP or like me just to ovulate!! ❤️😁

FeeneeTTC · 22/12/2018 07:22

Good morning, lovely to see all your updates. Just a short one from me, plucked up courage to test again on Thursday, day after af due, and as anticipated it was bfn. Af arrived several hours later so it’s back on clomid for me today (cd2) with my first scan to check it’s working in a weeks time.

Have a lovely weekend everyone. I’m consoling myself that at least I can have a drink over Christmas Grin

Funnybunnyfluff · 21/12/2018 15:35

That's interesting to know. Thanks for replies. Xx

Twitwooo · 21/12/2018 15:16

@Isabelle31 congratulations! Always nice to see it in letters instead of lines! Just sucks they only bothered to keep the display on for a day after Hmm

@Funnybunnyfluff I think in some regions maybe you need to a doctor to confirm it? Or maybe in certain higher risk pregnancies you are asked to see the Gp first ? Not sure as has no such experience.

In my area you just book in with the midwife. I didn't know this first time around and booked in with the Gp for a very pointless appointment. Although he did tell me to go and pick up my bounty pack from the receptionist!

This time around apparently there's a form to fill first then you can book in with the midwife. I shall also ask if I just randomly go in to pick up the bounty pack or what. Will get it going after Xmas I think.

@OctoberGirl91 oh you went for the 30 pack !!! I was considering it but decided 15 was ridiculous enough Grin

Isabelle31 · 21/12/2018 15:04

I phoned my local medical centre and they said I need to meet with the doctors first and then they talk you me it. I imagine she will ask me to choose a maternity unit and maybe talk me through options/process?
Would have rather been referee straight to midwife 🤷‍♀️
Glad I’ve got an appointment tomorrow though as starting to be concerned about the cramps - did anyone else experience this? Xz

OctoberGirl91 · 21/12/2018 14:58

Meant to say I had 30 of them so thought why not use them haha xxx

OctoberGirl91 · 21/12/2018 14:58

I don't have to see doctors they refer ataiggt to midwife however I am seeing a GP to go through medication to make sure it's all safe to take in pregnancy it differs on areas.

Congratulations @Isabelle31 it's lovely to see the words isn't it?

Very good line progression @Twitwooo I think the one step are crap also! I only got a shadow on one and a proper line on FRER.xx

Funnybunnyfluff · 21/12/2018 14:09

Can I ask why some ladies go to the docs when they found out they are pregnant.

I phoned the docs and they say the midwife would be in touch and that was that. Only one pregnancy I have experienced up to 12 weeks.

Are you suppose to go to the docs and if so what for? Xx

Isabelle31 · 21/12/2018 13:45

Thanks for sharing everyone! This forum has helped me understand the testing process - was completely clueless before.

@Twitwooo that looks like solid progression! Let us know what your digital one says?

Just did a digital and super surprised to get a positive being only 9DPO. Taken two now and totally in shock. I was convinced I was about to get my period as having period style cramps...Managed to get a doc appointment tomorrow. Telling hubby this eve! :-)

I have been using the one step ones for progression but to be honest found these to be rather crap. The line is indeed getting darker and darker but feels like it takes way too long to be anything like the control ? I have four of these left and will test with them every other day just to see if it ever gets dark enough for me !!

I used my other frer today to see what the line looks like on that. Results attached. Hah! Darker than the control ! top one was taken on Sunday.

I have one digital left. I will use it on Monday. According to when I think I ovulated that will be 3 weeks to the day - I'm curious if it'll say 3 + or if it will still say 2-3 like it did on Wednesday (day before af was due)

This concludes my stack of tests. Will just have to believe after that :)

Thanks @Isabelle31 I've only got one step cheap tests but finally solid line on them it's took a week but a gradual increase. I'm going order one more FRER and Digital 🙈🙈

Glad everyone is progressing nicely and good luck to everyone awaiting to test 🤞🏻xxx

I think I’m going to do the clear blue - what dpo did yours pick it up?
I’m only two weeks max so super early. Xx

Beaumont21 · 21/12/2018 10:36

@isabelle31 how many weeks do you think you are? X

Beaumont21 · 21/12/2018 10:35

I rang the doctors a few days ago to book my first midwife appointment which is on the 18th January. My hubby was Abit sceptical until I did a clear blue digital and then it was more proof seeing the word ‘pregnant’ x

Isabelle31 · 21/12/2018 10:22

@octoberGirl91so glad you’re feeling better and don’t need to be concerned about BV.

@Beaumont21 amazing to see the progression! Congratulations.

Mine has also been developing (I totally caved and tested!). I know my husband will want ‘proper’ evidence that we’re pregnant though as he totally didn’t believe that faint line a few tests ago so I haven’t shared since .... When do you think is the best time to go to the doctor to have it confirmed? I’m only 9DPO so now seems a bit early? Equally I want to share and have a ‘moment’!
Apologies for all the questions - this is totally new to me!

Xxx

Took a test yesterday after I found a pack of 2 I’d left in the wardrobe. Seems good progression from the first time. This was the first test x

I don't think I have BV after I googled it haha! 🙈

I don't have a lot of symptoms at moment only slightly tender boobs and more gassy that's it really. How's everyone?

Keep checking my line progression and ordered another digital to check next week 🙈xxx

Beaumont21 · 21/12/2018 08:11

Very strange! Woke up this morning and it’s all gone just feel a little groggy. Got an appointment today for the bv so hopefully it’ll be sorted. Only have symptoms now and again but don’t want to risk it x

MrsJ88 · 20/12/2018 23:42

@isabelle31 I can see a faint line too. Fx’d for you xx

MrsJ88 · 20/12/2018 23:41

@funnybunnyfluff I think it will be ok! One drink wouldn’t hurt xx

tinatsarina · 20/12/2018 21:53

Ok so I'm only 2dpo so far to early to test but I don't know if it's wishful think but I'm getting twinges and feeling heavier/bloated below my belly button. More on the left and some twinges in my groin. Probably to early for symptoms and it's all in my head right.

OctoberGirl91 · 20/12/2018 21:25

Hello everyone

I've just got over a D+V Bug @Beaumont21 that DD has given me! Only just starting to feel better, I'm also worried about BV thinking of ringing GP tomorrow.

What symptoms you had? I seem to have a strong smell, TMI and want to make sure it's nothing to be worried of.xx

Hey ladies. Not been in touch for a while. Things are still good but think I’ve got bv. Plus I’ve had really bad diarrhoea and a fever today. Any advice?
