Jan Bus - new year, BFPs please

Af due tomorrow light spotting today so it will arrive early morning 😢 onto cycle 12 for me, so here's my stats.

Af brought on my provera cycle 10 after 142 days

Ttc number 2
recently diagnosed with PcOS
🤞 for actual clear ovulation this month

af due 4th January going by old cycles.

@Dimblebimble eurgh!!! God how tactless can you be?! I expect we aren't the only ones with tactless family members (although I admit I probably was one of THOSE people a few years ago who asked when older couples were going to have children and probably hugely annoyed them )

@APositiveMind I read this morning that 18DPO will definitely give you a BFP if you are pregnant but I don't know when the actual cut off is. I'll probably try and wait for AF and then test the day after if she doesn't show (next Sunday)

Tested Christmas Day in the end, to see if I could drink. Bfn 😫 then had dhs auntie point out 4 times (!) to the whole room that unlike his brothers/sil we don't have 'any babies' for her to buy for. That made me feel great 🤔

Oh well, here's hoping to a luckier 2019

When is the best time to test, 2 weeks or 3 weeks after dtd. I trying got track my ovulation but my app won't be 100% correct so I hate the thought of testing too early

Flo predicts I’ll ovulate in 3 days. Been getting absolutely nothing from the opks! Not even a faint line. I’ll hopefully be testing on the 12th/13th. This is my first cycle TTC and I’m quickly learning this is a serious waiting game and test of patience.

So I'm 2 DPO now. Thinking I'll test on 5th or 6th next week when I will be 12 DPO (that's what FF recommends)
When is everyone else testing?

Hi! Jumping on to people watch for now as I don't ovulate until 12th Jan! Was 5 days late this month but AF arrived Christmas eve, so onto january!

1dpo i had really bad ovulation pain last night i have never had pain like it before so hopefully the metformin has made a good egg 😂

@Dimblebimble I would have a drink and enjoy yourself, as a rule you should test first day of AF and most lady's don't know they are pregnant till 4-6 weeks and drink, enjoy yourself and have a nice Christmas and test on DPO11 I'm testing in New Year's Day and I'm 6DPO.... fingers crossed and baby dust your way 🎄

@fortheloveofscience I've also been using opk since cd11 as last month had a positive at cd13. I'm currently on CD16 and still no positive... wondering whether I'll be ovulating later this month as my temp is the lowest since I've started tempting. Today and yesterday it was at 36.06. Not sure what's going on

@thosethreewords tested yesterday and today, very definitely negative (which is quite a relief!). No idea what the random LH spike was about.

Sorry to hear about your mc! I think id be tempted to do the FRER tomorrow just to give you peace of mind! And I think if its negative (fingers crossed it isn’t) then you should enjoy your Christmas and have a few drinks but maybe just take it easy still! Whens AF due?

Hi everyone. I'm currently 8dpo. I've only tested with internet cheapies which have all been bfn so far (but last time they didn't show anything until 11dpo and that was a v faint line).

I'd been planning to drink tomorrow (not excessively! Maybe 3-4 drinks throughout the day).

I have one first response early response in the house. Do I take it at 9dpo and only drink if it's negative, or do I just go ahead and drink anyway? After a mc and a chemical I'm very conscious that bfp so early doesn't mean anything for certain anyway, but I have been having lots of twinges and I'm conscious that if I am pg that drinking could be harmful (though, does it have any impact that early?)

maybe i know even a small amount sends me up loads so can't spot ovulation at all

it's so irritating been temping all month and it's stayed really still no dips or spikes just really stable

i havnt had a drink all month 😂 and i really want wine but it affects my temperature

@TtcIAm mine looked exactly like that yesterday & this morning! Im cycle day 18! Really glad Ive used OPK’s now after getting a little frustrated the with them the other day! Thought I would have peaked around cd14!

cd21 today which isn't too unusual i have ovulated on cd23 before.

luckily it's christmas and we can dtd as much as we want

I don't think I will conceive 'this cycle' my period is all over the place and I stop bleeding At night Hmm so I doubt I will ovulate !! Only time and OPK's will tell 😂😂😂

Shit, I’m only CD8 and took a random OPK - it wasn’t quite positive but almost. Wasnt expecting to ovulate until the end of the month, last cycle it was CD15. Is it normal for ovulation to fluctuate by more than a week?!
