Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

@Kinsters, we are going skiing at Easter, I can’t wait! I’m so sorry you hate your job, that must be tough.

@edidxb I agree with Kinsters, sounds like you might have some retained products.

@Twittle I wouldn’t read too much into what DH says right now. Both of you need to take some time to recover & see how you feel then. I hope you are okay. xxx

Kinsters · 07/01/2019 07:40

Twittle I don't know what to say. With illness, work, your DS's sleep and now TTC wobbles from DH you're having a really shit time of it. I hope things start to look a bit brighter once you're all feeling better and the days start getting longer and lighter.

Prosecco I'm OK with not too much sleep and am a morning person anyway. Just a liiitle bit more grumpy than usual. But impossible to know how much is cause its Monday, I hate my job and I'm not pregnant anymore when I should be 12 weeks today and how much is broken sleep.

TwittleBee · 07/01/2019 07:07

Nice new name Pegase !

I've had 3 hours tops sleep as DS woke at 2am and I couldn't get back off due to the pain and DS kept waking up anyway. Could barely move to help him. God knows how I'm gonna do at work. I didn't do my temp obviously as no point.

Also DH has sent me a text this morning saying he doesn't want another baby... He said he doesn't want to try anymore and that we've both been so ill lately and he hates doing the nights. Feel so heartbroken but I know deep down maybe he's right, idk how I would even cope with a baby if I'm still in this much pain plus my job extended my probation due to me having 2 days off for the MC Sad

ProseccoBee · 07/01/2019 07:04

@twittle big hugs to you all! Think you defo deserved that drink last night!
@bettyswall0cks aww think you deserve to be emotional over the last feed, it’s such a big milestone and step that it’s only natural.
@kinsters don’t know how your dealing with the lack of sleep I am actually evil if I don’t get mine haha I’m not a morning person at the best of times but if I’ve had no sleep I’m beat to be avoided for a few hours until I’ve adjusted!
@edidxb hope the pain lessens today! I am also dreading the first period as I’ve heard quite a lot of people say it’s really painful! Hope you’re looking after yourself and taking it easy!
Happy Monday to the rest of you. Is it wrong that I already can’t wait for bedtime or preferably the weekend? Off to work today and willed myself not to cry. Also stepped on the scales this morning after my weekend of treats and had an eye watering shock so I’m going back to extra extra good eating and drinking this week! Think I have put more weight on in two weeks of drinking and eating out than I did in the last three months. I have to go out for a restaurant meal tonight as my best friend got engaged on New Year’s Eve and could actually cry at the thought of more food. But she’s worth it. Determined from tommorow though. Hope you all have a good day x

Pegase · 07/01/2019 05:39

@TwittleBee hope you and DH are doing better today?

Another one to add to the no sleep wagon. Feel like I was waking every 30 mins all night.

This is smerlin btw, decided to have a new name for 2019!

Kinsters · 07/01/2019 04:49

edidxb could it be retained products being expelled do you think? Might explain why you didn't ovulate. And yeah, I think my temp this morning is unreliable. I was up at 3:30 talking with DH about the electricity and then tossed and turned until 7:15.

I'm really dreading the first period. I didn't have one for 7 years with the coil in then only had a couple of light ones before getting pregnant (nothing I even classed as heavy on FF, just one day of medium the rest light).

We're booking a ski trip! It's last minute (2nd week of Feb) and stupidly expensive and will be ridiculously tiring but I'm looking forward to it. It'll also be a silver lining if I'm not pregnant by then, all the apres ski and falling over for me please!

edidxb · 07/01/2019 03:59

Oh @Twittlebee, you poor thing and your poor DH. What an awful thing to happen. I really hope they can find out what is making you both feel so unwell.

@BettySwoll0cks that's a massive thing for you both. I hope it goes well today when it doesn't happen.....

@Kinsters - urggghh to the rubbish night sleep. I am still not sleeping well for the last 2 weeks and it is getting to me now. I hate it when my a/c goes, although it is a lot colder here at the moment so not so bad. I hope you get power back soon. Maybe the temp was just because you woke up loads?

I have SUCH a heavy AF - it's awful. Day 3 now and no letting up. Sorry for the info, but big pieces of tissue/clots. I didn't sleep well last night as I was so worried about leaking everywhere. Painful cramps (not horrific but worse than I normally get). My doctor did warn me the first AF would be heavy but it's pretty bad.

Kinsters · 07/01/2019 00:47

Oh my goodness Twittle that sounds awful, I hope you're all OK. MIL sounds like she's definitely not helping the situation. I'd definitely call in sick if you can.

I had an awful night's sleep last night. The electricity for our whole street went off at 1am and is still off now (9am) meaning no air con so the house was unbearably hot. Couldn't even open the windows cause mosquitos kept coming in. Despite being really hot my temperature was low-ish when I woke up so I'm less confident ovulation happened.

BettySwoll0cks · 06/01/2019 22:56

DS and I had his last breastfeed before bed tonight. Has made me feel a bit emotional. He says he understands that he's a big boy now, and big boys don't need their mumma's milk, but I have my doubts that he'll still feel that way at bedtime tomorrow 😭

BettySwoll0cks · 06/01/2019 22:53

A big hug to you Twittle, what a shitty run of luck. Sounds like your MIL is being a bit of a witch too; FWIW I had a nightmare with my MIL for a good few years but now I look back and realise that she was really struggling with other stuff going on in her life and it just made her impossible to deal with. Which is not to say that your MIL's behaviour is ok, but just maybe you can leave it with her while you concentrate on the important stuff like your DH's illness, your kids and your own health xxx

Frazzlerock · 06/01/2019 22:43

What the actual fucking hell @TwittleBee !! This is horrendous, no wonder you're having a drink. Like @Rachyrach83 says I too thought you both may have the same thing given you're so poorly too, no?

I cannot believe your MIL said those things. Honestly! What business is it of hers anyway!?

What a time of it you've had recently 😢 Thanks Gin

Rose68 · 06/01/2019 22:38

Oh Twittle, that sounds dreadful! Poor him and poor you. I thought the same as Rachy in that you might both have the same thing. I wouldn’t worry about a glass of wine. I was out drinking last night too. Fingers crossed whatever it is passes quickly and you both recover soon. xxx

Rachyrach83 · 06/01/2019 22:27

Oh my @TwittleBee !!
You don't think you both have the same do you?? It's strange you are both so poorly??

FX he gets better soon. Couldn't you take the day off tomorrow??

MILs are there to be pains is the arse
Mine thinks her children can do no wrong either!!

I hope you both feel better soon.
I took my boat load of supplements and vits this eve with a glass of rum and coke too if that helps

Keep us updated x

TwittleBee · 06/01/2019 22:04

Bloody hell, large glass of wine in my hand right now after this evening's events. DH was admitted with suspected meningitis, straight on IV drips. He looked like he was on death's door. I had to stay with DS so MIL went up there with him. Whilst I was waiting to put DS to bed so my DDad could babysit whilst I make it up to see DH, I was getting texts from MiL about how it's because DH is overworked!?!? URGH! Feel like she's always bringing up how DH needs to relax as he work (errr so do I?). She's so bloomin traditionalist. Like I need this argument whilst DH was on death's door! Anyway he was given all clear from meningitis so MIL leaves and as DS settles to sleep I manage to get over to DH. I had to walk past a load of labouring women and then past where I had the D&C so I was an emotional wreck by time I reachesd his ward. When I get ther, I find he is in quarantine because they haven't a clue what's wrong with him. I had to declare I'm not pregnant and that I'll follow protocols when leaving his room to ensure I do not spread anything (nevermind I've been living with him....?) He looks awful. All hooked up. They reckon he will be fine, need to do loads of tests though and see what is causing it all. DH then enlightens me how MIL is pissed off because she only just realised, when seeing his notes, he also took the double barrel surname when we married (she thought only I did and he kept his last name the same!). She thinks I twisted him to take it and how barbaric and wrong it is to change a man's name etc, and she doesn't even think it's legal! She is crazy sometimes, why argue over it over his sick bed ffs! Obviously on top of this, my own health issues haven't gone away, if anything they've worsened. It feels like my hips and below have been submerged into ice, even wearing clothes hurts the skin. If anyone touches my leg I swear I'd probably punch them. Looks like a long night with DS being unsettled. I've a full day of work tomorrow with a lot of annoying meetings. So yes, I'm drinking a large glass of red tonight. I'm only 6dpo and tbh doubt I'll get lucky this cycle as I'm so bloomin ill and stressed.

Apologies for offloading! Just needed to vent!

ProseccoBee · 06/01/2019 18:23

Oh well Thanks everybody for that, i’m hoping It was the case that the baby shrank after it died. Because I was torturing myself thinking back to what I could have been doing at eight weeks, and trying to think f there’s anything i did or didn’t do that could have effected it. Also thinking was I I’ll should I have noticed etc. I know they say there’s nothing you did that could have caused it but I think you can’t help but question yourself.
I’m still waiting for Af to arrive and then starting ttc from next cycle. Wish it would bloody hurry up. Looking forward to seeing what happens during the tww wait for everyone! Got everything crossed

TwittleBee · 06/01/2019 16:48

Take that as a sign Frazzle especially with the 888!!!!! FX

edidxb · 06/01/2019 14:23

spots on my chin, not my "china" - not a euphemism for anything - although I agree about the number 8 - lucky you @frazzlerock*!

edidxb · 06/01/2019 14:22

I haven't looked at the July thread but I was thinking about it on my home today but have decided I couldn't bear it and therefore I won't look.

I have full on period pain today which is quite literally a pain. I have spots on my china and I want to eat everything. Which is not good as today is the first day that I am trying to eat less and eat well! I have just had a slice of cheese!

I have been giggling away reading today's entries on the thread!! FJ........thanks all for cheering me up!

Rose68 · 06/01/2019 13:34

I try to hold out until AF is due, but I don’t always make it. If I feel certain I’m not pregnant I won’t test, but if I have any doubts I will struggle not to. Last time I tested on 10dpo and got a clear line. xxx

Kinsters · 06/01/2019 13:33

I think smooth temps are a good thing. Anecdotally when I'd just got my coil out (and I guess hormones were maybe a bit out of whack) my temps were really not smooth but once my periods came back the temps were nice and smooth and I got pregnant quickly.

Frazzlerock · 06/01/2019 13:32

My temps are a lot smoother around ovulation than my previous preg cycle. Does that mean anything to the temp experts in this group?

Haha yeah I just happened to notice the number on the front page and had to see who got that post!

Oooh! I like the sound of that @Kinsters !

Kinsters · 06/01/2019 13:22

Frazzle it's bollocks but you got the 888th post of the thread, that's a lucky number in Chinese culture! My fil loves the number 8 s o much we all have to have a specific combination in our vehicle number plates (my car and DH's bike) 😂. We'll be needing a new thread soon!

I'm a serial tester and will be poas from 6dpo...

Frazzlerock · 06/01/2019 13:15

@TwittleBee I'll test on or after 16th Jan which, oddly, I've just seen I still have an entry in my calendar for my second midwife appointment 😢 Maybe that's a sign I should test then (not that I believe in all that bollocks)

Re baby measurements, I know Popsy shrunk as my scans proved it. And we got a HB only a week before we found out he'd died. And even then he was smaller than at my first scan. So baby was shrinking but heart was clearly growing which I thought was weird.
