Hey @TinselBee, @Rose68, @BettySwoll0cks

Here is the thread I promised us.

Somewhere for us to help eachother, pick one another up, cry, scream, laugh..

Some of us may be looking to try again, some may be putting things on hold. Whatever our plans, lets get through this together.

(I don't know whether conception was the right choice of topic, I can always have this moved to a more suitable topic if anyone would like me to)

I will look through our threads again and see if I can @mention anyone else who might like to join us

@TinselBee you may be right with my temps...

Oh no! Still BFP!?

I think your tattoo idea is lovely. I'm so sorry you've had such a rough ride xx

I also meant to add @awakeatnight that was my MC, not first AF Confused But I have read that we are most fertile in this cycle or two.
Still, like you say, my temps might still be elevated from MC. Who bloody knows eh! It's a minefield. I will take a look a that link now Smile

Awake Yeah we do sperm meets egg plan but I always stress that the sperm might not still be alive and that we dont DTD everyday because it is hard with toddler who still wakes at night/ up early and also DTD everyday isnt great for sperm either. SO, I chart Ov because then I know if we DTD at least on that day we should have it covered hopefully. Tbf though, we do always manage it every 2-3 days usually anyway! Plus, I like to know when I have entered the TWW exactly. I find I usually Ov a day or two later post a +OPK.

Frazzle looking at those charts it really does seem you might still have some HCG in your system? Lovely tats Frazzle.

Tattoo idea is lovely btw. I still want to get a tattoo to cover my scars from when I attempted suicide so might tie do something that represents moving on from that and my loss from this MC.

So, forgot to say earlier... this morning's BFP was stronger than yesterday's FFS! Guess I had stronger pee this morning? It is sill faint tbf and is apparently a 10miu. I'll attach chart and pee stick pics in a bit

Frazzlerock · 21/12/2018 08:27

Oh I love that one @rachy go for it!

I'm not sure about every single day. I think that would completely take the fun out of it. We DTD every other day (if we can) leading up to ovulation and over ovulation and a bit past ov too. Seemed to work for my preg cycle.

@frazzle they are lovely 😊
This is what I was thinking...

Any thoughts on DTD everyday vs every other day?

(The little rainbow on a thread around my wrist is from the rainbow baby pack that DP bought me when I was pregnant with Popsy, I decided to keep it on)

Frazzlerock · 21/12/2018 08:09

The first is morse code for Emily. DP has the exact same on the opposite arm but on his forearm instead.

The second is an Emily Dahlietta flower

I'll need one for Popsy now and should probably include our little bean too

I have a couple of tattoos for Emily. I will show you in a sec Smile
Well done for jumping your DH's bones but shame about the kitchen!

Right tattoos coming up...

Morning all,

@BettySwoll0cks how are you doing this morning? If you're in a lot of pain today I was told by the sonographer at my scan with Emily that I should stock up on Solpadeine Plus or Max (can't remember which) in case I MCd naturally before my surgery. I never needed it but she said it was the best pain killer.

Hi @awakeatnight Yeah I did think the same as you but my ovulation window still hasn't disappeared this morning and I got a higher temp. I've put my preg chart and this cycle side by side and zoomed in. Temps are very similar. In fact in my preg chart at 1DPO my temp was lower than my supposed 1DPO this cycle...
I guess tomorrow will tell, if it rises again I think I can assume ovulation, if not then it was a blip in my hormones.

Pic to come...

How's everyone else?

Morning ladies!!
@betty I hope you feel a little better today. I have no experience with the medical management (never offered to me by nhs- don’t think I would have took it anyway!) but sending you lots of love.

I think it’s so lovely all the things you are doing to mark your lost little ones. I considered a small simple line tattoo of a heart within a heart to represent me always carrying my little one in my heart. - I will definitely kill a plant!!

Now I’ve read about the SMEG plan ... but here’s the Q.... I keep finding contradicting info.... is doing it everyday a bad thing?? I can’t help but think for someone who is in their 30’s like me that 48 hrs is a big chance of missing the egg?? But is the sperm quality reduced TOO much doing it everyday??

Pounced on the DH last night. Man flu had to wait!! Lol!
Kitchen is off the table - he read my text to one of his female colleagues saying he couldn’t believe I wanted to move house and she laughed at him and explained! Dammit woman!! 😂😂

I missed temping this morning as shot out of bed with the dog barking to go to the toilet!

awakeatnight · 21/12/2018 07:35

Oh @Betty sorry to hear that. I hope you got some sleep or at least some relief. If you didn't get it sorted last night perhaps try call your GP as soon as they open. Mine has a call back service so a duty Dr can call you and prescribe what you need.

So sorry to hear of all the maternity notes dealing :( a kind EPU nurse this time suggested only going for booking in after my reassurance scan. I phoned at 5 weeks and they booked my reassurance for 10+5, booking in and 12 week the following week for me. Thank god - I couldn't have sat through the booking in chat without decent confidence of a happy outcome!

@TinselBee Do what feels right for you with the clothes but you'll find a winter baby spends a lot of time inside in warm rooms so don't write off summer stuff You like as unwearable. My December baby DD spent a lot of time in what we called a ' layered look'

@Frazzlerock Hope you enjoyed movie night!

@smerlin that's a lovely idea. I bought snow drops for the garden, just hoping they come out better than my autumn crocus i planted at the same time! I've wanted an apple tree for ages so might go for that. It would be to encourage what i think is an existing apple tree to bear fruit as there aren't any others in the vicinity. Not sure whether the double burden of keeping it alive and hoping for fruit is a bit much symbolism!

@Rachyrach83 Fab result on the kitchen! Please keep us posted on your ideas

@Frazzlerock I really dont think that second chart shows ovulation yet. Was the Mendes section your miscarriage or your first AF since? I don't have experience of charting after MC (yet) but I learned to take ov from a few days after CM or positive OPK and pub point it looking back on a rise in temp that stayed above my cover line (the average pre ovulation) for at least three days. Your Pre ov temp might be elevated by the MC but I think I'd be waiting for a climb at least over 36.5. Probs worth getting it on with your partner if you can, just in case!

Had everyone heard of SMEP? It tiring but takes some of the pressure off Ov timing spermmeetseggplan.com

Incoming Toddler invasion - need to go for now!

TinselBee · 21/12/2018 06:27

Betty you can call the EPU up and ask for pain releif. I was tolkd to call them if I needed anything stronger and they'll prescribe it. Hope you slept okay

Kinsters · 21/12/2018 01:54

I hope you're doing ok BettySwoll0cks do you have any codeine? Hopefully you can find a 24hr pharmacy if you need to.

My scan today was all clear and I feel very not pregnant (no tiredness or nausea).

smerlin · 20/12/2018 23:39

Don't forget you can take both ibuprofen and paracetamol.

Hot water bottle?

BettySwoll0cks · 20/12/2018 20:13

Thanks smerlin. Stupidly I didn't discuss pain relief at the hospital- it's getting q painful now Sad

smerlin · 20/12/2018 19:36

Thinking of you this evening @BettySwoll0cks

TinselBee · 20/12/2018 17:08

Frazzle I'm having to keep mine for the insurance but might actually shove them in the box too. Well I hope you have a nice movie night or a nice sleep there at least haha

Betty I think it is CD1 from bleeding, least that's what my miscarriage booklet from hospital states. Tbh I think this whole 1st cycle is just a mess and no one really knows what's happening. Seems everyone's experience is different. Good luck with passing everything Flowers

Rather everyone is telling me to just keep everything for the next baby but I just can't and besides, the Baby grow and other clothes are all summery and unless it takes another year to conceive they won't get used. So I shall be giving my friend whose DD is same as what mine was a lot of the clothes.

ratherbeshowjumping · 20/12/2018 16:59

Aw Tinsel that's a really lovely idea. I have a few things that I was unsure what to do with - didn't know whether it would be weird to keep them for next time round (fx'd).

BettySwoll0cks · 20/12/2018 16:54

Also, for the purposes of charting, does anyone know whether CD 1 is when you pass the pregnancy sac, with medical management?

BettySwoll0cks · 20/12/2018 16:52

My pregnancy notes arrived in the post today Sad I won't keep them, I'll chuck them in the recycling I think.

Just got back from the hospital having had misoprostol administered. Now sitting and waiting. I wonder how long this will take? 🤔

Frazzlerock · 20/12/2018 16:32

What do you all do with your pregnancy notes? I've still got the ones from Emily and now I have Popsy ones too. I might start a collection hobby Wink

(sorry that is my dark sense of humour)

@Rose68 Rightmove is so much fun! I love it Grin

@TinselBee oooh Fx!!

I'm off to a friend;s house tonight for Filmnight. We are watching Bookclub which I've no idea if I've seen or not. I will probably fall asleep though. I am hopeless in the evenings. We all watched Muppets Christmas Carol last night at home and I was gone 10 minutes in

OP posts:
TinselBee · 20/12/2018 16:05

I don't care buy a plant... I end up killing them all and I feel like that would be another devastating blow. But I do have a bunch of things I'm gonna box up in a nice box, e.g. the Baby book, a baby grow, a soft toy, all things I had bought for this baby

Oh rather so annoying for you! Limbo is horrid and especially when you're feeling like crap with the cramps too. Hope something happens either way for you soon

ratherbeshowjumping · 20/12/2018 16:01

Feeling like I should buy a plant now too! It's such a lovely idea.

Love your house analogy @rachy - had to laugh at your DHs reply, I'm so sorry... bless him!!

Oh @smerlin that sounds really painful... are you able to just work on the flat or hacking? I know it's not much fun but better than no riding at all.

@TinselBee excited for you!!!

AF has still not arrived here. I'm so crampy, boobs are sore and keep running to check it's not here. Will give in and do a test tomorrow if still not come. I hate this limbo. I usually get AF within 2 days of cramps and this has been going on since Sunday now Angry
We're supposed to be going for pil anniversary dinner this - I think I made my feelings re MIL fairly clear on here yesterday Blush it's the last thing I fancy when feeling like this. Envying anyone who's planning on spending their eve in pjs watching Christmas films.
