Glad I’m not the only miserable bint here tonight!!
I just burst into tears over our Chinese takeaway!
Tomorrow was supposed to be when we told the world, today we were going to tell the step kids they were going to be big brothers, I’m not supposed to be drinking wine, I’m supposed to be 13 weeks pregnant and instead I’m sitting here with AF in full force!! I’m so f**king miserable tonight :(

Frazzle I wouldn't go by an old pregnancy test personally. Also OPKs can change within hours! And isn't LH meant to be a bit crazy on levels for those who suffer from PCOS which is why OPKs aren't reliable? I don't suffer with PCOS (formally was told I did but later went private and was told I don't!) Anyway, I can have a +OPK and then a few hours later it be negative again. Thats why I'm confused why I'm having still getting +OPKs 24 hours my first one!

Smerlin no chances it's implantation bleed? Idk what to expect regarding AF. I know many women on old threads appear to have a stop start AF for their first AF though.

Fricking old high school enemy (yes I know that sounds sad) just announced the sex (its a girl) of her baby on FB. URGH. I'm meant to be 12 weeks damn it I'm meant to be going for my scan in 3 days I thought I was having a girl. I was meant to be announcing to wider friends and family this Xmas about our 2nd baby. URGH. Sorry. Rant needed.

Also popped back into the old NCT group chat, massive mistake. 2 pregnant women in there just moaning about being pregnant. Okay, sure, one is seriously struggling with old injuries now her pregnancy hormones are making her muscles relaxed but I'd honestly go through that twice over for a baby. Feel like a bitter cow.

My body isn't playing ball either. Thought AF was starting today but no further bleeding after this AM whatsoever. Either will start properly on Christmas Day or I will be stuck waiting still. Bloody annoying as I programmed my fertility monitor today.

Still.. am currently eating a mince pie so you win some you lose some

I'm not expert by any means but I think the 10 min reading is the one to go by from what I understand.

I found my bfn test 3 days later as I emptied bathroom bin and it was a feint line... but obvs as AF arrived 6 days later it was a negative and the time had distorted it x

Rachy I ov on day 13 or 14 so my luteal phase is only 10 days. Weirdly my variation on cycle length comes from my luteal phase which I'm going to blame on the mirena coil. Wouldn't be surprised if its different post MC.

Had a nice chat with one of my friends today. It was our annual Christmas get together yesterday and turns out everyone was speculating if anyone was pregnant - I had a big glass of wine whereas I normally wouldn't so I'm glad I did that and there's no pregnancy gossip about me!

Frazzle jump on him for sure! Have fun tonight too. Great you got a negative on the pregnancy test too as you know it isn't that messing with your OPK! FX you do ovulate.

Frazzle can you do another one now? I'd take that strong line as a positive though as for me a positive never shows up in first 5 minutes but when I look within the time frame it will get darker but I don't find it changes. I usually keep them all together so I can compare over time!

What day do you Ov on in a cycle of this length? X

My cycle is that short Rachy, normally 23 - 25 days. Means less waiting around although I do sometimes worry that my luteal phase is a bit short, didn't stop me getting pregnant though.

Took another OPK... still positive? Usually I get a stark negative following a positive. Guess it's just another sign if messed up cycle post MC.

Rather that's what my DH thought too, he didn't believe for a while that there's only a short window! Sorry you're still in limbo btw!

I have set up my clearblue monitor - it says to start testing on cd6 which will be Saturday. I’m hoping ovulation will be clearer from that.
I’m going to start temping from tomorrow (couldn’t this morn due to disturbed sleep and storming off to the sofa at 3am due to the walrus next to me! Lol)
I’m just feeling meh so made cakes with the littlest step-son and now smashing through them with a cuppa!

That's rubbish if you didn't ovulate @rachy I genuinely have no idea.

Think tampons are ok. I don't think it's "too" short at all, lots of people have short cycles. Guess it's just your body regulating itself!

I've decided today to use a pad just to monitor goings on!
It's very gloopy (sorry TMI!!)
I'm worried about it being CD26, but I guess in reality it's only 3 days early ... I think it's because I was expecting it to be late

I'm going to take some vit b6 to try and help regulate things as don't want to end up with short luteral phase

@Rachyrach83 think I am cd33 but could be less as start of mc bleeding was v light spotting. Probably slightly less if count from when bleeding got worse.

I would definitely go back to using tampons. It is only while your cervix is open you can't I think.

@rather I thought I would be pleased for AF, but I’m now just worried that it’s far too early!! CD26, and no way I ovulated between bfn and today!!
It’s deffo AF too.

@smerlin @Rachyrach83 glad af has come for you, at least it's a sign that your body is back & ready to try again. Completely in limbo over here still, bfn's but no af. CD32, I'm going out of my mind 😫

@Rachyrach83 I hate it when they're like that. The first cycle we planned to try, DH had a 3 day hangover over peak ov days. When I explained it was too late after that he genuinely thought that ovulation was a myth & if you can only get pregnant 3 days of a "month", why are there so many people who get pregnant on a one night stand & why do people get the MAP 🤦🏽‍♀️🙈

I'm exactly the same @Rachyrach83 - pink on wiping this AM so think AF has arrived in time for Christmas.

Wasted a bloody pg test (BFN obvs) before realising as I thought, despite my good intentions, that I had better check I wasn't pg before embarking on the cheese, pâté and champagne tomorrow!

Oh well have a bottle of Laurent Perrier to cheer me up tomorrow
