We’re almost at the limit on thread no.8 so I thought I’d start a new one before that one fills up

@Deller123 ooh! Can you post a pic?

DuchessofPemberley · 01/12/2018 12:06

I also think I’m afraid to POAS because right now I have the hope of not knowing either way. The first BFN (because I like to use several a cycle 🙄) kind of takes that away.

My Clearblue Digital Monitor isn’t giving me the option to test yet. Maybe I should hold off until it gives me the option next week...? Maybe the fact it doesn’t let me test yet is a sign it’s too mother flipping early!

Deller123 · 01/12/2018 12:03

@DuchessofPemberley go for it!! We all know we are poas addicts😂😂I caved in this morning and I think iv got a squinter hard to see in a pic though! I think I'm being very hopeful that I'm seeing things😔took so many pics of it😂😂xx

DuchessofPemberley · 01/12/2018 11:55

I’M FIGHTING THE URGE TO POAS!!!

After all my fine words about holding out! My cycles alternate between 26 and 31 days but the vast majority of times are an even 28, putting AF at December 5th. Because of my ovulation date and my LP being 16 days generally I predict AF will come on December 7th. Currently 11 DPO.

I know I should hold out but it’s SO HARD!!! I keep thinking about it and how I know nothing (Jon Snow) about fertility really so I should just go ahead and test because that’s the only way I’ll know and the chemist is only down the road and I’ll get Boots points on the tests and collecting Boots points are my favourite thing and then I’ll know whether I should have a drink tonight or not so in actual fact it would be IRRESPONSIBLE of me not to test so in fact I have NO CHOICE in the matter...

And to think yesterday I was so proud of acting like a sane person! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

Deller123 · 01/12/2018 10:17

@Crossfitgirl thanks for your reply😊yes it's a hcg, it is odd isn't it. I seen it appear there and didn't move until 5 mins later when it disappeared never seen this happen before. No haven't done another one yet I'm tempted this morning😬😬xx

Bec18x · 01/12/2018 10:10

@GemmaJen I had surgery in 2011 and had cysts removed and endometriosis removed so just 10% left. And I had a hysteroscopy in 2016 which was all normal. I’ve requested all my medical records from both to see what they actually said because I was only 16 at my first surgery. Hoping I can understand a bit more from reading them. Gp has referred me to consultant so fingers crossed x

Bec18x · 01/12/2018 10:06

@KatBeCool I’ve had bloods done which were all normal and didn’t suggest that I wasn’t ovulating. I have a consultant appt in April so if still nothing by then I can start meds.

@GemmaJen

Good morning all!

Having the weirdest cycle - no positive opk yet on day 20, and I'm spotting.

Normally have a little premenstrual spotting and a blazing positive opk for 2 days (day 14-16).

Stupid body!

@stormtrooperjulian I need to ask, how did your username come about? I love it!

Bettythecat · 01/12/2018 08:42

Morning all just checking in to say hope you’re all feeling positive this morning (I like me I have to say 🤦‍♀️) and have a lovely weekend hopefully with a bit of time to switch off from ttc

Got my period last night so the temp drops and the BFN were sadly not wrong. Wishful thinking anyway! I just keep thinking about all the people I know who have fallen pregnant literally all of whom (inlcuding mum and step mum) fell pregnant first time. Can’t help thinking there must be something wrong although know that’s illogical!

Crossfitgirl · 01/12/2018 08:10

@sunshine1987 yes I can! And I'm grateful for it! Lol. I guess we should enjoy the symptom free time while we can. I'm totally pathetic if I'm even slightly nauseous so maybe it's not such a bad thing!

@gemmajen yay for ovulation! You chart looks so consistent too with the temps! Don't stop BDing at the temp rise though! Look what happened to me! Lol

@deller123 is that a pg test? Can't say a line has ever appeared and disappeared. Have you tried another? Could it be a faulty test? I have just looked more closely at the picture- I DID watch a pink rush happen when I did my tests recently amd saw a blurry line like that over the control line before it settled into a proper line, but it was more just as the test was working, then all the pink stuff settled. I know this is crap but I can't remember if it was the BFN or the BFP. Maybe it's just the rush of urine. I'd try again with another anyway xx

PurrMaid · 01/12/2018 07:48

@gemmajen I’m exactly the same as you, and need something to know my body is getting back to normal after the MC. Your graph is great, I don’t actually know what all the temps mean yet...I should do some reading before I actually start! But I work in medical science and the thought of making my own graph excites me!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! I’m having my first drink tonight since I found out I was pregnant in September, and haven’t drunk since I found out about the MMC a month ago....gonna have to take it steady!

GemmaJen · 01/12/2018 06:53

@Bec18x welcome back. That's sounds really tough. I have a close family member with endometriosis, they needed an op to control the endometriosis and were told there chances of pregnancy were highest in the months that followed. They then got pregnant with their first and now have a second. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to not know what's happening with ovulation, have you got an understanding GP? Baby dust for you too x

KatBeCool · 01/12/2018 06:49

@Bec18x are you seeing a doctor? What you're describing isn't normal and needs to be looked at, blood tests done, possibly some medicine, etc. If you aren't ovulating, you need to see a doctor to address it.

GemmaJen · 01/12/2018 06:38

Good morning Grin

It wasn't a fluke, temp is still up! I know this isn't big news to most but after the MC, just glad things are going back to normal. Hope we've BD enough and caught it, but I am glad to know my body is doing something right, even if late.

@PurrMaid - this what i mean by consistent temps - thought I was broken the line was so flat. I guess because the monitor takes the lowest temp there's less interference from behaviour vs manual temps. I put the data into FF so it's easier to compare. The device app is good but less easy to read additional signs.

Bec18x · 01/12/2018 01:21

Hello ladies, I was on the first thread and it’s come a long way since then! Congrats to all who have conceived and baby dust to all those still trying.
I’ve been ttc since June and have always had irregular periods but they have been regular since starting myo insitol back in july. I’m currently cd 40 and still no sign of af but tested BFN yesterday. I have PCOS and endometriosis and don’t think I I ovulate. I used ovusense for a few months but my temperature never went up at any point in the month so presumed I wasn’t ovulating and stopped using it and just trying to bd every couple of days now!
Baby dust to you all x

Deller123 · 01/12/2018 00:30

Hi all,

Hope you don't mind me joining this thread. Also ttc no.1 and have had 2 cp's in the 18 months of trying. Posting this test because iv never seen this before, this come up literally straight away and then disappeared within 5 mins🤔has any one else had this happen?

Thanks in advance ladies...lots of baby dust to you all💐💐

DH took me shopping in another city to get some of my presents, he's made such a nice effort this evening and spoilt me I just want to get home and pounce on him 😂🙈

@GemmaJen you should definitely go!! I'd love to go, I'm going to try and get tickets and take my sister - she's a bit obsessed and watches it most evenings! X

Yes @KatBeCool !! Well done, the hardest part is getting to the gym, keep it up xxx

@DayDreamer1707 I haven't seen a star is born yet!! I need to watch it x

@Crossfitgirl glad the story worked, hope you enjoyed it anyway! X

Have a good weekend everyone ❤️❤️ let the festivities begin!! X

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 22:28

@crossfitgirl can you tell how much time I’ve spent since Saturday reassuring myself 😂🙈

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 22:28

@crossfit I’ve been saying the same, I don’t feel pregnant at all except I’ve peed on another test and got the 2-3 weeks change today. Apart from that I’ve been fine but apparently that’s normal too and for a lot of people it doesn’t kick in until 6 weeks plus x

Crossfitgirl · 30/11/2018 22:21

Aww thanks @sunshine1987, that's made me feel loads better.
I know this sounds odd, but I can't wait to have some symptoms! Xx

sunshine1987 · 30/11/2018 22:12

@crossfitgirl I wondered too about the progesterone given my low levels the cycle before but there was a similar thread on the pregnancy board where people had the same and everything was absolutely fine during pregnancy. Only people that got a boost were those who fell pregnant whilst under fertility support already/IVF etc. We’ve got this lovely xx

Crossfitgirl · 30/11/2018 20:47

By the way @purrmaid I got one of those isnow ones off Amazon and it works fine, think it was maybe £12 or so but I've heard the natural cycles ones are good too. That tracker thing sounds awesome though! I HATE taking my temp when I get up! Totally getting one of those next time!

Crossfitgirl · 30/11/2018 20:43

Well, I made it through the spa without too much hassle to say the only things in the blood place I could do was go in the pool or the foot spa! I sat in the flipping outdoor jacuzzi with just my legs In the water with a towel wrapped round my shoulders freezing my arse off, pretending I felt too dodgy to get all the way in cos of the bubbles and heat! Haha. The dodgy takeaway story worked a treat!

@stormtrooperjulian the doc was very reassuring, they don't do anything about low progesterone at my stage, so it's midwife in December and that's it!

Re alcohol in the tww, I didn't stop drinking completely, just limited to 1 glass or so when I fancied it. I actually had a neat amaretto when I started spotting so sure was I that I was out! I wouldn't worry too much. @bettythecat seriously, don't sweat about the wine! Agree with @daydreamer1707 xx

Welcome @purrmaid, so sorry to hear about your MC. Sending positive vibes your way and fingers crossed for a good month xxx

starkid · 30/11/2018 19:11

Just checking in... nothing exciting going on here. CD22, 6 days since positive

GemmaJen · 30/11/2018 19:06

@PurrMaid you just wear it overnight, it attaches with adhesive patches. I don't notice it, I just take it of in the morning and sync it. It takes temps all night then calculated the lowest temp as BBT. So if you get up in the middle of the night or use an electric blanket or what not it shouldn't affect it.
