TTC FIRST BABY - THREAD NO. 9

I'm having a right moment lately - cue rant. My emotions are definitely getting the better of me and nothing being particularly clear its just frustrating me so much.

My Ovia app says to test this Friday after my positive OPK the other week, which I think I had OB. But then after what I think could also be a positive OPK this Saturday I'm now thinking I haven't even ovulated this month now. I don't know if to just test so that then my mind is put to ease and I can just wait for AF and hopefully have a more clear cycle next month. Or if to just hold out for AF anyway which could take ages yet as it's still my first proper cycle since MMC.

Feeling extremely all over the place today and yesterday, even got teary at my desk earlier. What is happening to me!! What do I do....

@cupcakesandglitter that does sound weird and I've never seen a OPK with a thin line like that before. probably the right idea to get a FRER just so you know. Fingers crossed for you!! I got my positive OPK yesterday at day 15 so guessing I'll ovulate today as that's what my 3 apps are telling me. I also had some ovary area cramping last night which was quite uncomfortable. I'm just very excited I caught a positive OPK as I'm never sure I ovulate because of PCOS. Now for the 2ww😩 it would be the best Christmas present we could ever wish for!! X

Morning @MrsR16 @MrsAW2018 cycle 6 for me too x I'm on CD8 and I still was spotting last night which is super unlike me - I did an OPK before bed and this happened. It's just as dark as the control but really thin, after looking online though this counts as a positive... I'm just not sure what's going on, I've been having some cramping around my right ovary and I'm still having back pain which again is really unusual for me. Might buy a FRER today just in case - don't think I am but need to rule it out I think. Sorry for the ramble!! X

@KatBeCool think I'm due on the 13th, fx for both of us. This is technically my first tww. Started symptom spotting already, the madness is not a myth, lol. I told my hubby last night about a couple of the symptoms and he pretty much took me to one side for an intervention. 9 days to go, hope the marriage can survive that long!

How are you coping?

@stormtrooperjulian it's possible you missed it. Do you test several times a day? Did you have ewcm? Make sure you dtd anyway but I'd keep testing just in case. Temping might give you an idea too.

So deltoid machines at the gym and sore boobs post-ovulation do not mix. Plus I'm severely hungry at all times. I had a large dinner, fifteen minutes later I felt like I was starving.

@PaintingOwls Me too. I’m very down today and all my trackers are saying I’m due on Wednesday. I feel like my period is gearing up and I’m beyond fed up. Sorry you’re going through it too.

I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps today, which I have a horrible feeling is caused by AF which may attack on Wednesday.

It's that bloody sense of doom, every month

@ValidUser that sounds like me last cycle - I had an almost positive on CD11 and then again on CD26... then AF turned up ten days early on CD31 😩 I'm on CD7 now and still spotting. Not normal for me at all - usually by CD5 I've finished. Ladies with PCOS, is this normal?

@stormtrooperjulian I've had 2 almost surges this month - day 14 and today (22). Plan to get some tonight and tomorrow and hope for the best.

That does sound frustrating but I understand as I have PCOS so my body is all over the place too. I guess the only time we can really tell what's going on in our bodies is when AF comes along.

@purplefig almost always 27 days! Just had an almost positive opk - either I'm getting an LH surge before af, or I am, indeed, ovulating late!

I'm only 4dpo so easy for me to say wait, lol by the end if the week I'll be getting poas restlessness

@DuchessofPemberley as with any Bbt tracking the more data you have the easier it is to detect a change of temp indicating ovulation. I started 1w after mc so about when AF might have been. I take my temps from the app that comes with the tracker and put them into ff, the ff charts are easier to compare with other people's charts. I'm getting nice consistent temps be so a bit smoother graph than what I presume I would have with a basal thermometer.

Do you have to start from the first day of your period or can you start whenever?

*@ValidUser * how long are your usual cycles? Could just be ovulating super late this cycle?

Cd 22 here and still no positive opk. Dtd every 2 days (but recognise it's unlikely with my hydrosalpinx).

Not sure when af is due - intermittent minor spotting but that's about it.

@DuchessofPemberley just with all my OPKs showing a possible 2 surges and it being my 1st cycle since my MC I don't feel too positive about it. I normally always get bad skin on my chest before AF and I have that now, slight cramps and I'm just feeling a little touchy in mood too. Would be pretty early as I'm only on day CD20 but nothing has been going quite to plan x
