@DayDreamer1707 Bahaha so laidback I don't even need to spell correctly. Ooooo that is interesting. 91+% chance it would show positive is positive. Gahhh. Will see how I feel as weekend approaches and keep you all posted.

@GemmaJen I know the feeling, 6 DPO also. And I have no idea how long my next cycle will be as the last three have been 24, 28, 26, all with different LP. I blame the thyroid medicine but at least I can see it's working. This cycle is the most normal I've had since May, proper AF (not very light like before), lots of ewcm, temps are more steady, and also higher after ovulation than before. So another 8 days is very much a possibility for me.

A couple of weeks ago DH said he had a dream that I got heartburn and when he asked about it, I said it was a "special pregnancy heartburn". I never get heartburn, and I got heartburn yesterday, from a food that I've eaten many times before with no issues. So there's that.

@purplefig not that I am trying to persuade you but have a look at the below link. My app is saying to test Friday as if I did ovulate the I would be 12DPO but I think I'm out this month. I got what you mean and thought you was just showing me how you wasn't being laid back 😂. I thought I would do the laid back approached but that went tits up when I turned into a mental roller coaster this week x

@MrsH497 with OPKs, the test line needs to be as dark or darker to show a positive. That being said, I've seen plenty of women on here have had a dark (not dark enough to be positive) second line and that was when they ovulated, May have just been slightly earlier than the surge x

@MrsH497 it's only considered positive when the line picking up your hormones is as dark or darker than the control line. Hope that helps!

I started a thread but I will ask you knowledgeable ladies. I did one of the OPKs this afternoon there were 2 lines on it but one wasn’t as dark is this a positive?! Apps all slightly vary when I’m due to ovulate as well

@DayDreamer1707 I was going to hold off until next Thursday, as that when AF is due. However, that is also 18DPO which seems really long. This Sunday would be 14DPO. I'm kinda tempted to test then? I know they say wait until first day of AF but surely what matters is DPO? As obviouslt cycle lengths vary hugely between women? Gahhh. Tl;dr my laidba kick attitude has dissolved entirely!!

Not sure about your ovulation question either unfortunately. Didn't realise you could bleed with ovulation.

@DuchessofPemberley I did try to use that but I don't temp so just stuck to Ovia and my OPKs (which are driving me mad)

Does anyone know that if you have had Ovulation bleeding, does that mean you have definitely ovulated or could it still have not happened? x

Just popping in for a mid week moan. 6dpo and I'm fed up, just want to fast forward 8 days. This ttc business makes you wish your life away. Been down in the dumps all day, no symptoms to speak of, just serious grumps.

@purplefig your wine suggestion is an excellent one. I thought I’d be really laid back about this process too, but it’s hard to be laid back when you want something so much.

@ validuser sorry to hear about your bug and the fact you’re not seeing your surgeon until January. I’d say the month and a half will fly by with Christmas in the middle of it, but I can understand you feeling fed up. Have a proper rest and mind yourself.

@MrsLBear that’s interesting about Natural Cycles - I was going to try it but I’ll stick with FF.

@Daydreamer1707 FF is Fertility Friend, an ugly but very functional app. There’s a basic free option or you can pay for more features. I’m currently on the free only version though I’ll probably give in and buy the extra features once I hit cycle 6.

I got a bog standard thermometer today, I loved the one GemmaJen talked about but it’s not stocked anyway near me and I want to start temping this cycle, and as AF is starting anytime in the next three days I don’t have time for shipping. I’ll see how I go.

I tested this morning - I’m on meds for a condition and I need to taper off as soon as I get a positive so even though it’s unlikely I have to keep going from day AF due until AF arrives. It’s still negative so the chances of me being lucky this week are pretty much gone.

@purplefig now I'm not even meeting the surgeon until late January. Frustrating!

@sunshine1987 yes we need a flurry of festive BFPs! Wouldn't that be nice?!

@ValidUser yes that's what the apps are saying. I don't think I'm pregnant because my OPKs have been all over so just feels like a tease!!! Hope you are feeling better x

@DayDreamer1707 yes, Ovia tells me to test and Flo tells me af is coming.

I like Ovia's positivity, but Flo is probably more realistic for me at the mo (at least until my op).

One of my apps is saying I start a new cycle soon whilst the other is saying to test soon 😣😣😣
