Oh @Mistymeow that's fabulous! Congrats and everything crossed for a healthy sticky bean xxxx

Mistymeow · 22/01/2019 09:26

Thank you @dimblebimble and @laney79

I can’t believe it. Got a faint line today on ic at 11dpo so tried a frer. I’m shaking. I’m in the bathroom waiting for DH to get off the phone so I can tell him. The IVF appointment is meant to be on Friday. I’m scared it will all go wrong again.

@Beaglemum93 the fear of not being able to get pregnant again is huge isn't it. I feel it too. Sorry about AF xxx

Beaglemum93 · 21/01/2019 20:32

Sorry that they're being so difficult @Lilimum6 :(

I'm definitely out as AF has started. At least my cycle seems to have gone back to what it was before the miscarriage... I'm so worried that I'm never going to be able to get pregnant again. I've emailed a private clinic to see if they'll do some basic fertility checks but I'm not sure if they'll test after 2 failed cycles or not even if I'm paying.

Yukka · 21/01/2019 19:10

@lilimum6 I would go on the hospital website and get the name of the clinical director for gynae and send them a strongly worded email. You should also phone your gp tomorrow and tell them what is being said- they should also then contact the hospital to help you get the right outcome here.

Rather than telling you what they won’t do, they need tell you what they ARE going to do to ensure this is successful given the hospitals previous history with you and followed up by how soon you can move on to rmc testing.

You can’t wait this out you know your body doesn’t respond like that. It needs to be dealt with xx

I presume you don’t have private healthcare through work? As this op would usually be covered if you do x

@lilimum6 I'm so sorry for what you're going through. Does your hospital do MVA or is there another that is reachable that does? I can't say it wasn't painful but it seems to include scanning before, during and after?

Laney79 · 21/01/2019 17:50

@Lilimum6 Ooh that's not on. I'd definitely ask to speak to someone higher up. Really feel for you. Maybe worth ringing round other hospitals to see if any of them offer it and ask to be transferred? X

Lilimum6 · 21/01/2019 17:11

@Laney79 I did point out my past and that they were doing one for another lady (nurse told me Sunday) but was told no. I was told I could still have a erpc if I wanted one otherwise I could wait again see if it shifts its self

Dimblebimble · 21/01/2019 16:57

@Mistymeow fingers crossed for you! I've never had a false line on an internet cheapie so you never know!

Laney79 · 21/01/2019 16:55

@Mistymeow no erpc...repeated medical management when I lost Bean, passed bow naturally in October. Just very odd. So scared the MC's have caused a problem that will stop me conceiving. I'm a bundle of worries.

Fingers crossed your line darkens lovely! I'll hope on your behalf xxx

Laney79 · 21/01/2019 16:53

@Lilimum6 just because they don't do it as standard is a poor excuse. With your history surely they can see why you want it done that way? Can you ask to speak to someone more senior to argue your case? Or maybe ask about going to a diff hospital that will do it the way you want? It's just so unfair. I'm really angry on your behalf! Xxx

Mistymeow · 21/01/2019 16:27

@Lilimum6 I'm really sorry to hear your news. Is there a chance you can go private? I wonder why they don't do it as standard. Sending you lots of hugs, this has been going on far too long and you need to start recovering which you can't do if you "wait it out". I hope there is a resolution soon for you.

@Laney79 did you have an ERPC? Only since mine in April I got lots of sharp low down pains, not as bad now but it did get me worrying. I went to the doctor and he said it was nothing to worry about, and it has got better. You could pop to the doctor's if you're concerned? I hope you're ok.

@Dimblebimble I definitely see something on that test! Fingers crossed.

I'm also 10 dpo and there is a faint line on an ic that came up straight away. I can't get a good picture, and also I just wouldn't believe it anyway. We begin IVF first consultation Friday, can't let myself hope.

Dimblebimble · 21/01/2019 15:51

Thanks @russkispy and @Lany79. I've had two chemical pregnancies in the past, so I'm a bit nervous - not going to get excited yet. Am aiming to test again in 2 days, but let's be honest, I'll end up testing tomorrow. No self control!

Lilimum6 · 21/01/2019 15:48

Ladies the only reason I was given was that he won't do it and they don't do it as standard. That's it, they said I can still have the erpc if I want it or I can wait it out. I'm gutted

lilmousey · 21/01/2019 15:40

Sorry I've been awol ladies - last week was the hardest yet.. 2 people I know announced their pregnancies and they're already all over my social media feed with baby updates. Happy for them of course, but I found it very hard to process so soon after my own loss. So needed a bit of social media detox. Feeling much more positive this week!

@RedRobin7 OH and I went for a really long walk and talked through everything over the weekend and it's helped so much. He thought that because I was holding it together on the outside I was fine - which I suppose is partly my fault for not letting him know how much I was hurting inside. He apologised for assuming I was fine and being insensitive, so we're ready to move on now. Feels like a big weight has been lifted, and I can now start to heal and move on and get ready to start TTC again. Started tracking ovulation but nothing yet.

Sorry that AF showed up for you. Are you tracking ovulation?

@Lilimum6 So sorry hun! Life can be so cruel. Did the EPU say why they won't do the guided erpc now (after they agreed they would?!) and can they refer you to someone who will? Thinking of you!

Keeping everything crossed and feeling hopeful for those of you who are in the tww. Want to see lots of happy ladies with BFP's!

Laney79 · 21/01/2019 15:38

@Dimblebimble deffo a line! Tentative congrats. Are you the first BFP of 2019 on here? X

Russkispy · 21/01/2019 15:22

@Dimblebimble I can definitely see the line and hopefully gets darker in the next couple of days! Fingers crossed!

Dimblebimble · 21/01/2019 15:16

Thanks @Laney79. I couldn't resist taking another one when I got home from work just now, me and dh can definitely see a faint line on this one (see pic). Keeping my fingers crossed it is what I think it is, and that we have more luck this time around.

rdm10 · 21/01/2019 13:42

Hay, quick one-
Just on my way to my rmc appointment. The nurse rang me last week to tell me it will be just going through my history then blood tests, but what should I expect? What blood tests will they/should they do? I want to check they’re being thorough as I’ve been waiting for this since August!

Laney79 · 21/01/2019 13:38

@SerenaOverjoyed one of the reasons I want to know if I'm pregnant ASAP is so I can start on baby aspirin. Consultant said not to until BFP but as my babies both stopped growing at 6 weeks (3.1mm and 4.2mm) I'm nervous it would be too late if I don't start straight away. Hope all continues to go well for you.

@Dimblebimble I had a hint of a squint on an IC with my second pregnancy...got slightly darker the next day but still not very clear even inverting colours, but frer was positive the next day. Fingers crossed for you.

@Beaglemum93 keeping all crossed.

As for me, I'm getting a bit worried about pains I get on and off. Low down right hand side. They are very short lived but sharp. Had them on and off all month I think so now the worrier in me is freaking out the that mc's have caused a womb problem. No sign of any pregnancy symptoms now at 10dpo so fully expecting AF weds/thurs. X

Laney79 · 21/01/2019 13:32

@Lilimum6 that's not good - did the surgeon give a reason? Can you ask to be referred to an epau that will? X
