So sorry @Kj1010 and @mellongoose. We had amnio for our first pregnancy and the wait was the most horrible thing I've been through. I don't know how I would've coped if we'd got bad news.

We have had bad news today at our 20 week scan. The worst news. Our baby has spina bifida. So serious it has caused major brain problems already.

I have to terminate this much wanted pregnancy this weekend. I have no words to describe how we feel. My ttc journey is over.

I’ve done egg collection but not the other parts of IVF.

It’s really not bad at all. I sadly didn’t respond well to the stimulation drugs and didn’t produce many eggs but the practicalties of the injections then the actual collection were totally fine. I took two days off work after but that wasn’t needed physically. Maybe a little more emotionally for me as I had a poor outcome (just one egg frozen). But then it only takes one egg and the doctor told me about positive outcomes even with just one egg.

So good luck if you do go that route it’s nothing to fear xxx

Right ladies I’m properly confused! Was convinced AF on way today! Had mild cramping last night, sore back and CM that was light brown. CM turned pink this morning so In my head I’m like yup AF on way. However now nothing 🤷‍♀️ Have never had this before or maybe I just have never paid that much attention to it. It can’t be implantation bleed at 13 dpos. Now on cycle day 31 which has completely messed up ivf dates for Feb 😪 so frustrated everything has to be delayed by a month now.

Just back from seeing the doc. Did another internal. All looks normal. Looks like I've just ovulated. If I'm not pregnant this month, go back 1st day of period. He asked if I wanted to do another IUI or move to ivf. I have opted for 1 and possibly 2 more IUI. By the time the last one comes along, husband and I will have been on all vitamins etc for 3 months, giving maximum chance.....well that's my thinking. I think really I'm just scared about ivf, although he did say I've done 9 out of 10 steps already and the only thing I haven't done is egg collection. sigh

Hi there, can I join you? I'm 41 and we have a 4-month-old little boy. Yes, we must be mad to be trying again already, but it is purely because of our age. We would like a sibling for our son, but we're happy just to let nature take its course or not, as the case might be, so we won't be seeing a doctor/seeking medical treatment if it doesn't happen. This is our first month TTC and I believe that I'm 8DPO (not using OPKs at present).

Katey, I'm not sure about your specific strips but it does also depend on each individual person. I use the clear blue fertility monitor which specifies fmu, but I also use cheapo sticks which say not fmu. I find smu works best for me as by afternoon my wee is too diluted to get an accurate reading, even if I hold.

@KateyA you pee on the ov strips/sticks in the afternoon.. if memory serves between 3-5 that sort of time.. I don't use but did. Xx
