Rose - that’s really interesting about a bmi of 21. I just calculated I’d have to go up from 8 stone to 8 stone 9 to achieve that. Easier said than done.....

littlemimosa · 13/12/2018 18:56

Orchid - how are things?

Karry - glad you’re ok and feeling positive despite your loss.

Critter - your boss sounds a total tosser. Just do your best to ignore ignore ignore. Those babies and your health is much more important than some jumped up little upstart.

Rose - ‘poor you’ missing out on the scrumptious tea lol. Just polished off my second cup of the day too. Mmmmmm.

Welcome Coffeeist! You are in the right place.... pull up a chair and get comfortable.

Russkispy · 13/12/2018 17:26

@Orchid222 how did you scan go today?
Had a reflexology session this morning and fell asleep as ever. Might squeeze one more session before Christmas Smile

Cleozeta · 13/12/2018 17:03

Critter - trust me you won't give the slightest bit of shit once those babies come, and that dick will be a distant memory. Try and let it go over your head for now and look to that pretty amazing light at the end of the tunnel.

Karry - rekei sounds amazing. Might have to try that at some point! Pleased to hear you are feeling more positive looking forward. You are right - 2019 will be our year Smile

Welcome coffeist

CritterTamer · 13/12/2018 15:02

Thanks @Karryk - I struggle on a daily basis not to aim actual kicks at his man bits! Glad to hear you enjoyed your Reiki session - never had it personally but used to have it done on my horses now and again years ago and they always seemed to love it! Fingers crossed for you that you won't need any medical intervention and you can be back to TTC soon 🤞
Welcome to the group @Coffeist

karryk · 13/12/2018 14:52

Oh no @CritterTamer that's not what you need...I'm aiming a virtual kick at his man-bits 😐 I hope you can minimise contact with him....focus on the little bubbies inside ❤️

I had my scan today...90% of the pregnancy is gone so it looks like I'm okay for not needing an intervention, fingers crossed. Back to trying again next month...here's to success in 2019.

On a brighter note, I had an amazing reiki session this morning. I fell asleep a few times...was so relaxed and left feeling just a bit lighter than before. I'm definitely going back ✨

Welcome @Coffeist lots of positive stories on here for you. I had dd1 just after my 40th birthday after two mmc and a cp. Have just had another mc in trying for no2 but feeling hopeful. Smile xx

Coffeist · 13/12/2018 13:50

Hi ladies
I'll join you, at least reading in the background...
I'm TTC#1, and just over the 4-0 Shock 2 miscarriages earlier this year (6 weeks and 11 weeks - the latter's DD would have been next week). TTC to those happened pretty easily (cycle1) but nothing since last MC end of May.
Keen to hear and read all success stories!

CritterTamer · 13/12/2018 13:49

Thank you all for your lovely messages - I'm glad you all enjoyed the photos (sorry they were such poor quality - taking photos of the small pictures on that shiny wavy paper the scanning machine spits out was surprisingly hard lol)

Yes we are over the moon, and feeling a little bit less anxious post 12 week mark so actually starting to enjoy it now - though it also helps that the ohss has finally cleared up and the MS is beginning to ease so I'm starting to feel like human being again for the first time in about 10 weeks!

My only real problem at the moment is work - the CEO has been an absolute dick since I notified them just over 2 weeks ago. He ignores me completely - doesn't even look at me let alone speak to me, even when He comes to talk to the person sitting next to me or opposite me. That was bad enough, but over the past couple of weeks hes also now trying to find things to blame me for and trying to pick at everything I do (through other people because he won't actually speak to me) even though I've done absolutely nothing wrong and all 3 of the issues that he's so far trying to pin on me have actually been caused by him. It's causing me a lot of stress and lost sleep and of course then I worry if all that will affect the pregnancy so I stress and worry even more. I really hate it and dread going in every morning but obviously I can't leave now so it's a very unpleasant situation.

Sorry for the moan - it is nice to have somewhere to get it off your chest though. DH tries to understand (and he works there too and knows exactly how much of a prick the CEO is) and does agree that I'm being treated massively unfairly, but he also thinks im overreacting because I'm hormonal - so patronising lol.

Anyway, thanks for reading and good luck to all you IVF ladies - I'm so excited to see how it all goes for you guys now that I'm not in the thick of it anymore!

Orchid222 · 13/12/2018 11:15

They do come in tablets but they're not as strong and obviously are not 'custom' made based on your cycle, situation etc

Cleozeta · 13/12/2018 10:30

Rose - I've never heard of the Chinese herbs in tablet form! You miss out on the joy of the scrumptious tea

As for me, nervous about tomorrow's full fertility check. Anyone know what I should expect?......

weasledee · 13/12/2018 09:58

Critter what fantastic pics! Can you believe it's actually happening!? I bet it all seems surreal :) are you going to find out what you're having?

Rose68 · 13/12/2018 08:22

@Critter, lovely photos, thank you for sharing.

@littlemimosa, my acupuncturist told me that 21 is the ideal bmi for conception. My bmi last time I weighed myself was 22, but I’m not massively concerned about trying to bring it down to 21. What is the hot water bottle / castor oil pack for?

@Cleo my acupuncturist has given me some herbs too now, but they are in tablet form.

Good luck to all those doing ivf xxx

littlemimosa · 12/12/2018 21:41

Oh Critter gorgeous scan photos. You must be over the moon. Head to head is so cute❤️

Orchid - don’t lose hope. Keep the faith, it’ll all work out x

Lets- I’m ok thanks. Trying to keep the faith and praying for a miracle. Just sat here with a hot water bottle/castor oil pack on my tummy. Anyone else do this??

Russkispy · 12/12/2018 21:23

@Cleozeta , sorry , yes, meant for @CritterTamer ! But @Cleozeta , your time will come too!
@Orchid222 , everything will be fine! Keep calm and positive!
