Hi all - apologies if I've missed anyone out on here, I'm half asleep 😂

Yes @flapjackered temps still high, but I usually get up to 3 days of spotting before AF. Had 2 days of it already now so I will only test if I get to day 4 and AF hasn't come in full yet. So Thursday at the soonest.
Did you actually pee on the stick and get a line?? I thought you had just read the reviews and got rid of it?!

I just had a right moment. Just felt my boob and it was SO sore. I had a sudden crazy ray of hope! Then I realised I went to the gym yesterday for first time in ages and it's just muscle ache. What a numpty.

I'm so out.

FlapJackered · 27/11/2018 23:03

@PaintingOwls if you're only 1dpo fertility friend probably hasn't confirmed your ovulation yet, it waits for 3 high temperatures. So at 3dpo you will probably find it will change your af date.

@Crossfitgirl I am glad you didn't buy them, honestly it was just so heartbreaking seeing that line and then realising it was faulty!
DH still hasn't hidden the tests but I think after my almost testing moment earlier I feel stronger and don't think I will test tomorrow.
Well done for holding out on the frers. Are your temps still high?
I am keeping my fingers crossed I don't get a drop tomorrow. 🤞🏻

PaintingOwls · 27/11/2018 22:26

Fertility friend is confusing me at the moment. It says AF is due on 5th December, but recommends I test on 15th December. I ovulated late and am on CD21 and 1DPO.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I'd like to avoid poas daily.

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 22:04

@MrsEG I'm feeling slightly less panicked right now. No more spotting since lunch time. Cramps are still quite rife though. Sitting here with hot water bottle. Thanks for asking darling xx

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 21:39

@SullyWifey How are you feeling now? Any more spotting?

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 21:29

@RanchoRelaxo that's an amazing graph to look at. Thank you darling. Think I'll be checking that quite often!!xxx

KatBeCool · 27/11/2018 21:22

@stormtrooperjulian @Crossfitgirl they also say "if you're acrobatic, legs over neck (your legs, his neck) is a good one". I never found doggy style to be helpful, as, unlike lions, we don't tend to proceed with our lives on all fours. I wouldn't even be able to get off the bed without flopping onto the floor like a sack of potatoes.

RanchoRelaxo · 27/11/2018 20:39

Hi everyone, hope you are all getting on okay..
Big congratulations @SullyWifey have just seen that you're worried though, have a look at this.. datayze.com/miscarriage-chart.php
I think this website is really reassuring after my mc, I know the numbers seem high right at the start but it's nice to see the statistics go down everyday, I actually check it each morning haha wishing you all the best x

FivexFive · 27/11/2018 20:24

Hi all, I am back from holidays feeling relaxed and ready for Christmas :)

Not even going to attempt to tag everyone in this post, I've missed soooo much, but just want to say: massive congrats to all who got bfps, big hugs to you ladies who af has visited; maybe Dec will be our month?!

So, I've had 5 days of not looking at aps, not talking about ttc and genuinely not thinking about it as much. I don't drink, but ate allll the pate, soft cheese, blue cheese, runny eggs, you name it! Was just what I needed. This cycle we're determined not to use opks or over think it. Just enjoy the festive season and have lots of sex :) We'll start seriously trying in Jan, if required. I'll still be on here though, gotta see how my girls are doing! Xxx

Crossfitgirl · 27/11/2018 20:16

@sullywifey sorry I can't help with your CP question... There's lots of help and reassurance on here which is great, but if you're ever genuinely worried please ask your doc! Everyone's experiences are different xx

@flapjackered sorry I totally missed your broken pg test post! Haha! How good are you!! You know what's really weird, I literally looked at getting those one step ones when I was ordering tests and it was the very same reviews that put me off! So got the FRERS instead!
My FRERS are staring me in the face right now lol.

Sorry I am sure I will have just missed a shit load of posts as I started typing this when I was having my hair done and I've just got home...

Also apologies for my shoddy reading of the thread, I think I've missed some when trying to catch up quickly!

Crossfitgirl · 27/11/2018 18:51

@purplefig exciting for ovulation!!

Hahaha @MrsEG well if the lions can do it with only a few days there's hope for us surely!!

@cupcakesandglitter @flapjackered definitely don't want to miss out on the mulled wine this xmas. AF hasn't turned up yet for me, second day of spotting today.
My FRERS had arrived when I got home though, a day early! I don't even want to do them though, since I'm already spotting what's the point. Full flow is bound to come very soon.

Sorry about AF @cupcakesandglitter though I'm sure I'll be joining you. I would try not to worry too much about the 5 day luteal phase, it could just be a one off, maybe you didn't ovulate this time, which can be totally normal if it's just a one off. I'm almost certain I didn't ovulate last month at all. I'm glad the doc said not to worry and your scan may give you some more answers. Have you already had any hormone blood tests? They could tell you more?

@flapjackered did you hold off on testing?

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 18:43

@stormtrooperjulian oh what a man! Isn't it great when they get involved!! Xx

As you ladies know I use natural cycles. Just got this email with link for free thermometer and 3 month subscription for £14.99

I know some of you want to try NC and it's worth it for the freebie! I don't get anything from it if you sign up so no pressure I just wanted to pass on.

Crossfitgirl · 27/11/2018 18:36

@stormtrooperjulian I have totally heard that before!! It's cos the tip can get further in to get the spermies where they need to be 😂 haha good on him for googling!!! Xx

stormtrooperjulian · 27/11/2018 18:21

So DH informed me when I got home just now that apparently the best sex positions for conceiving are missionary and doggy. He’s been googling 😂😂😂 at least he’s taking an interest I guess!

KatBeCool · 27/11/2018 18:04

@cupcakesandglitter I know this early AF is devastating but wait to see how your next cycle is. This stuff happens for various stupid reasons and most of the time is just a one time thing. Our bodies are very unpredictable and can easily push AF at almost any time.

@FlapJackered I see teeth marks on that test! 😂 I'm CD11, just starting my fertile week. Although I already have ewcm as of two days ago. Shrug.

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 16:05

@sunshine1987 is right, @SullyWifey - when I was in hosp I was told 25% of pregnancy ends in MC and of those, 75% happen in the first 6 weeks.

Try not to worry yourself - just relax and stay positive. FX for you

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 16:04

@sullywifey just know you’re not alone xx

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 16:01

@purplefig I am 12DPO xx
@sunshine1987 yes actually your right, that's what I read and that makes more sense. Think I'm just scaring myself. Bloody hell. Yes I'm same as you, just going to take each day as it comes!! Xx

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:57

Also @sullywifey if this is what you read “A chemical pregnancy is believed to affect as many as 75 percent of pregnancies that end in miscarriage.” aren’t they saying that 75% of miscarriages are CP rather than 75% of pregnancies are a CP? x

CookieWaffle · 27/11/2018 15:54

@sunshine1987 yeah they might end up guessing!

Regarding the CPs, I've had 2 (maybe 3) and although it really hurt, alot of tears were shed, I'm kinda glad I tested early. It gave me hope that there's a chance it happened. And most of all I like to know what my body is up to. So I'm glad to say I had 8 months with 2 possibles rather than 8 months of nothing. I understand not everyone's the same.

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:53

@sullywifey I keep telling myself that today I’m pregnant, I don’t have control over anything else so take each day as it comes. AF was due for me today and all day I have been dreading going to the toilet and I assume i’ll keep on worrying until 12 weeks can and beyond xx

purplefig · 27/11/2018 15:49

@SullyWifey how many DPO are you? I think that stat is for before you would get a positive result on a pregnancy test.

SullyWifey · 27/11/2018 15:44

@sunshine1987 @FlapJackered @purplefig @DayDreamer1707 @MrsEG

Thanks ladies. I do have these horrid cramps and back ache too, but I was thinking that must be normal. Gosh it's so early it really could go either way and there's not much I can do about it. So I just got to ride it out haven't I.

Problem is I've never been PG before so I've got no bloody idea!

Why didn't I follow my own advice about not test early!! Feel like I've turned my TTC anxiety into early pregnancy anxiety! I can never win!

Read that 75% of pregnancy end on CP. that's soo high!!

Thanks for always being there girls. Don't know how i ever coped before you! Xx

sunshine1987 · 27/11/2018 15:26

@mrseg oh yeah they’ll know as soon as I’m there in front of them Saturday lol, but this way I’m giving them a “I’m not saying anything so let’s pretend” x

MrsEG · 27/11/2018 15:19

@cookiewaffle @sunshine1987 Your friends might quietly guess anyway - I knew a friend of mine was pregnant years ago when she came out one night as her boobs were ginormous!! I didn’t say anything though ;)
