@KatBeCool I wouldn't worry about it. Mine used to change all the time by the odd day. Not even sure whats going to happen this cycle x

SullyWifey · 28/11/2018 16:22

@Bettythecat I use natural cycles too. I like how it looks! Honestly whether it's cycle 3 or cycle 11 the anxiety of it all, I'm sorry to say doesn't get any better. It didn't for me anyways. Every month was like an up and down of different emotions.

Have you been doing any symptom spotting yet? If so I would say always note everything in your notes. Only because every month when I felt sick I would be like oooo this could be a sign, then look back through history and I always put that CD25 haha. NC said I was due AF tomorrow so here's hoping she has already packed her bags for a nice long holiday!!!

@MrsEG thank you hun, let's hope it's all good signs xxx oh perfect darling, I hope he makes a super yummy dinner for you. Get nice hot water bottle and comfy pjs and just snuggle on the sofa tonight. Sending hugs xxx

MrsEG · 28/11/2018 16:15

Thanks everyone for the kind words of support! I had a cry at DH earlier and he’s leaving work early to make me dinner. I’ve requested a lot of wine and chocolate.

@sullywifey so glad the spotting has stopped for you! It must be sticking real good for you!!

KatBeCool · 28/11/2018 16:12

@DayDreamer1707 thankfully we dtded last night. But CD12 isn't normal for me, I was expecting at least two more days before a positive.

Bettythecat · 28/11/2018 15:32

Hi @Sullywifey- gosh that’s just so odd and as you say not what you expect when you get your BFP! I’ve got everything crossed that it will stick for you and you have your baby in your arms in 9 months time 👶🏼

I’m feeling v anxious at the moment- af meant to come Friday according to Natural Cylces and I’m 10dpo... this is 3rd cycle but already feels 3 cycles too many!! 😫

SullyWifey · 28/11/2018 15:11

@Bettythecat hey darling, well I don't really know what's going on to be honest. Cramps are constant and so painful at times they make me dizzy but that's only happened twice so far today. Only tiny bit of spotting so far today as well. Looks like this could be totally normal. But as I have no idea it's just bit of anxious time, here's me thinking it would be all bells and whistles soon as I got my BFP . I keep just holding my tummy going "please stickkkkkkkkk!!"

Thank you for asking. How are you? What cycle and CD are you?xx

Bettythecat · 28/11/2018 14:58

Just wondering how @Sulleywifey is getting on. Have your cramps and spotting gone now? Hope so. Xx

DayDreamer1707 · 28/11/2018 13:54

@KatBeCool I did a test on CD 11 and 12 with One Step and they where both very positive, Just starting to go more faint now and showing negative. I don't know how reliable these test are but I hope they work. I always see that peoples cycles change from time to time. Maybe you can DTD anyway?

@DuchessofPemberley Welcome and this is definitely a place to let anything off your chest 😘

I'm so sorry @Crossfitgirl and @mrsEG that AF has decided to show up!

@sunshine1987 I totally agree with you, just try your best to relax and BE YOU is probably the best option sometimes when getting pregnant. When I first fell pregnant I was eating and drinking when and what I wanted too.

@stormtrooperjulian I never noticed it as a sign when I was first pregnant but my boobs where constantly sore, like they hadn't been before. I dreaded going up and down the stairs 😂 FX

FlapJackered · 28/11/2018 13:35

@KatBeCool that's weird it's not picking it up. Sorry ignore me, I am just regurgitating what someone told me when they were misbehaving for me. On a few cycles I have had the peak come a day after the ICs so hopefully it's on it's way!

KatBeCool · 28/11/2018 13:20

@FlapJackered it hasn't even been 48 hours between either of them, the one I took before this morning was literally just yesterday, and the one before that was slightly less than 48 hrs prior. So I'll try it again later today with new sticks. Although I was under the impression that it checks for certain levels for a positive rather than comparison checking. I don't think it has much of a memory.

FlapJackered · 28/11/2018 13:10

@KatBeCool I thinnnnk it resets after 48 hours so would show as negative again if it is over that time.

KatBeCool · 28/11/2018 13:08

@FlapJackered i heard that too even though it's stupid but just for that reason I've used CB twice before this cycle. All three were low even though I expected a "high" yesterday (IC was about 50% dark). So it had no reason to show low today.

FlapJackered · 28/11/2018 13:02

@KatBeCool - maybe try the clearblue again today. Though I seem to remember reading somewhere that it will always start with low fertility and will measure increase in hormones from your last test. So you maybe too late to use it this cycle if you have already had your peak.
Irregular cycles are so frustrating aren't they but at least you have caught the surge and you won't miss it!

@DuchessofPemberley I know exactly what you mean! I am feeling so nauseous and the amount of googling that has gone on today😂 in reality I know I quite often feel sick before af.

KatBeCool · 28/11/2018 12:21

@DuchessofPemberley welcome!

@purplefig higher levels of progesterone give us those awesome symptoms you describe - mega sore boobs, gassy, etc. Apparently, the hormones relax the muscles "down there" and we become very... windy. 😂

@Crossfitgirl and @mrsEG so sorry about AF. Hugs.

@sunshine1987 maybe it was the alcohol and delicious foods! 🤔😂

Very annoyed with my body. I'm only CD12, temp this morning dropped super low, thought to myself "I can't be ovulating this soon", did internet cheapie and it was as positive as it gets, did a CB to confirm and it's "low fertility". It was my last CB stick (of course), so either it's faulty (I've had that happen before), or I'm somehow faulty as CB checks for LH and estrogen and something is amiss. 😭 This would also mean my cycles are now irregular as it's been 24, 28, 26 for the last three. I'm gonna have to get more CB today at least make sure the first one wasn't correct. I see the back of the stick to be pretty positive, but who knows.

Bettythecat · 28/11/2018 12:03

@crossfitgirl I think it did cost something for the app but I actually can’t remember- I have both Headspace and Calm though and Headspace doesn’t really get a look in as I prefer Calm so much. If you like mindfulness and meditation and/or struggle with anxiety generally I would say it’s a great one!

DuchessofPemberley · 28/11/2018 11:54

Thanks for all the welcomes!

@Flapjackered My LP is usually 16 days, so I reckon December 7th is when I’m due. I’m 8dpo. I feel a bit nauseous, but I’ve symptom spotted previous months and wasn’t pregnant so who knows? I’d almost rather have no symptoms because having them gets my hopes up.

@Crossfitgirl sorry to hear AF arrived. It’s such a tough process.

Crossfitgirl · 28/11/2018 11:51

@cupcakesandglitter and you too, lots and lots of baby dust. I missed you there lol xxx

Crossfitgirl · 28/11/2018 11:50

@MrsEG ahhh so sorry. I'm right there with you. Hugs from me and mince pies all round. In fact, I have a bottle of mulled wine from last year still in the cupboard!
@purplefig I'm off to sort out the spare room very shortly so there's enough space for me to put my yoga mat! Got a random day off so just had reflexology and done a meditation. I feel so calm! I will try the breathe app as I prefer shorter ones :-) thanks for the recommendation.

@bettythecat I keep getting adverts for calm on Facebook! Was it fairly pricey? It does actually look and sound good and I nearly got it but reviews said it was expensive when there's others you can get free. Do you think it's worth it? If so I might see if I can do a free trial or something and see to buy it!
@flapjackered well fingers crossed she says away for you! If not, mince pies and wine and a festive Xmas! With my short cycle I will be due probably a day or two before Xmas day so will know either way by then. If not, fertility clinic NYE!

@sunshine1987 I'm gonna try relax but still have lots of sex! Haha this month was shite anyway, we only did it twice!

@stormtrooperjulian thanks, I'm the same my boobs are so unpredictable, I only get sensitive nipples rather than sore boobs but it's so different each month I can't establish what's normal! I don't think there is a normal! Meh.

Anyway. I don't really like this ridiculous phrase but feel its needed in this last run up to christmas.... BABY AND GIN DUST TO ALL!

🍹🍹🍹🍾🍾🍾👶👶👶

cupcakesandglitter · 28/11/2018 11:02

@Crossfitgirl ah man, sorry the cow has turned up. Here's to a relaxed Christmas though 🍷 I'm with you on feeling shit, I don't want to do anything right now.

@purplefig I had the same thing last night - realllly sharp stabbing pains in my right boob, Never had them before but AF is here for me so I couldn't count it as a pg sign... fx it is for you ❤️

purplefig · 28/11/2018 10:08

@stormtrooperjulian yeah like I said I'm not thinking it means I'm pregnant, mainly just complaining because they are bloody painful!

stormtrooperjulian · 28/11/2018 10:07

@MrsEG @CrossfitGirl sorry about AF, but now you can make the most of able to eat and drink whatever you want over Xmas!

Welcome @DuchessofPemberly

@purplefig I’ve given up on my boobs for symptoms, they’re so different every month, sometimes slightly sore, sometimes really sore, and most recently nothing at all. Annoying.

sunshine1987 · 28/11/2018 09:45

Having limited caffeine and alcohol for the past 7 months, this month I decided on our honeymoon it was stupid not to enjoy it fully and ate and drank everything I could. This month we fell pregnant. Though it’s ovciously not the alcohol that helped I do think it was the relaxing of it and not worrying about it all day everyday. Know that’s not helpful but hopefully by giving yourselves a break over Christmas it’ll happen without you knowing it xx

Bettythecat · 28/11/2018 09:40

@MrsEG @CrossFitGirl so sorry to hear that 😫😫 I’m sure I’m next too. At least you get one (hopefully last) Christmas to really go for it before babies for all of us next Christmas!!

On the subject of meditation apps I use the Calm app- absolutely love it I find its much better than the Headspace app. The woman’s voice is a lot more calming and they play lovely music in the background. They have this amazing “breathe bubble” and 7 day series’ which have really helped me in the past.

Here’s to a champagne/Prosecco/wine/gin filled Christmas and New Year with hopefully some calmer minds!

FlapJackered · 28/11/2018 09:38

@Crossfitgirl and @MrsEG Acht sorry for af she really is the most inconsiderate witch!
As Mrseg says I would try and focus on the fact that being in sober in December is not a huge amount of fun and pregnant in Jan when you fancy a booze break anyway and a September baby sounds lots better!
I am sure I will be joining you tomorrow or Friday. X

purplefig · 28/11/2018 09:31

@MrsEG sorry to hear that but liking the attitude re: mince pies. Go get 'em!
