@SophiePie so sorry and just look after yourself right now. You will soon heal and you will be able to try again. I have unfortunately been in your position so any questions, I like everyone else is more than happy to help in anyway xx

sunshine1987 · 29/11/2018 12:01

@sophiepie I’m so sorry, I hope you’re ok, take time to come to terms with it all and don’t push yourself too quickly. You know where we are if you need us 💜

SophiePie · 29/11/2018 11:51

Just got back from the hospital- miscarriage confirmed. Thank you everyone for being so kind, I love you all

CookieWaffle · 29/11/2018 11:32

Oh @Crossfitgirl keeping my fingers crossed! xx

@cupcakesandglitter depression is such an evil thing. I got really down at one point a while back. I don't think it will ever go away, its just a part of me, but I can recognise it and I know what to do to help me fight it. Crying for no reason? Let it out, then go do something you enjoy. DP didn't really understand at first, but I had to tell him, sometimes I just need to cry so don't get angry just let me do my thing and I'll come back when I'm ready.

No excuses needed luckily, I often drive to stuff so that wasn't unusual. Plus, I was a little peeved with DP last night so there was no way I was getting him to drive me there!

sunshine1987 · 29/11/2018 11:24

@delilah7 let’s us know how it goes, how many weeks are you now? x
@mrsaw2018 hope you’re alright, doesn’t sound like they were being very helpful. Mental health is so hard during TTC xx

sunshine1987 · 29/11/2018 11:22

@crossfitgirl I had no symptoms and still don’t, which is no worrying me something is wrong 🙄 x

MrsEG · 29/11/2018 11:13

@Crossfitgirl FX!! Oh I so hope it’s good news for you :)

cupcakesandglitter · 29/11/2018 11:06

@CookieWaffle how was it? What excuse did you go for in the end? 😂 thankyou for what you said re depression - I thought it was just me. My depression has hit a new level and I know it's only because of not having a baby. I can completely appreciate it's not a patch on how long you've waited, but I completely understand how it makes you feel. It's so consuming and draining!

@Crossfitgirl so that looks really promising?! Could have been implantation bleeding!! Fingers crossed for you xxxxxx

FlapJackered · 29/11/2018 10:53

@Crossfitgirl I will be back I promise. ❤️
Probably in a few weeks. I just need to take a step back and not get so obsessed this cycle.
Also definitely going to keep an eye over the next few days as your chart looks amazing! Have you tested again? I really really hope it is good news for you!!! X

Crossfitgirl · 29/11/2018 10:45

12dpo. Longest luteal phase I have ever had so far. Spotting seems to have stopped. Temps are high. I can't cope with this. It's teasing me. I'm just waiting for AF to come properly and laugh in my face.
Should I be getting my hopes up? I have no symptoms at all, but have never had more than 3 days of spotting before a periods and my temps have never gone higher before, they always start to fall mid LP.

I hate this so much.

@flapjackered nooooo don't leave :-( we have been in this together for so long!
A break from mumsnet does help with the relaxing though, so I really hope it helps and you are back with your BFP after christmas :-)
Please tag me when you come back!

@delilah7 yes please send us some updates!! It'll be lovely to hear how you're getting on xxx

CookieWaffle · 29/11/2018 10:44

@MrsAW2018 I think most of the depression I've had over the years links back to me wanting a baby so much. It consumes your life without you even realising. I was devastated that I still didn't have kids when I got to 30 and my 40th was spent in tears. It's been tough.

I've got through the past horrible 9 months reminding myself of all the good things I do have, making time for myself and appreciating anything and everything. I'm not saying I totally achieved it, but it helped.

CookieWaffle · 29/11/2018 10:37

Ah ladies, so much keeps happening here.

@SophiePie I'm so sorry, sending you many hugs Flowers xx

@Delilah7 Please do let us know xx

@FlapJackered Have a good break chick, it does wonders. Enjoy the holidays xx

@ValidUser ahh that sounds a bit stressful. Hope you don't have to wait too long for the surgery.

I managed to make it through the first party. On to the next!

cupcakesandglitter · 29/11/2018 10:08

God @MrsAW2018 that sounds absolutely awful, please go and see another doctor, depression is no joke xxx

@FlapJackered 😩 have a lovely December and merry Christmas if you're not back before then, enjoy copious amounts of wine 🍷❤️ xx

@Delilah7 of course we do! Let us know how it goes xx

Hi ladies. Sorry I didn't rely last night. Got hyperemisis sickness - which I guess is a good sign but it's horrible!! Hardly been eating anything. Scan today so should hear a heartbeat. Want an update if I do?? I don't like to post and 'boast' about me being pregnant x

FlapJackered · 29/11/2018 09:39

Thank you lovely ladies. Definitely for the wine and veg out idea! I think most of my December is going to run along those lines!

@Bettythecat - sorry I mean that we've been ttc for 9 months but because my cycles have been so long and irregular in the past it's worked out as only 6 cycles. Had lots of tests and nothing apparently wrong so far (apart from slightly irregular cycles). I think they are going to get me to repeat them and then off to the fertility specialist next.
Good luck with the next cycle 🤞🏻🤞🏻

stormtrooperjulian · 29/11/2018 09:21

@SophiePie I’m so sorry, that really sucks. How are you doing today?

@FlapJackered and @Bettythecat sorry about your temp drops, that’s so disappointing. Just keep reminding yourself that it will happen for you when the time is right - that seems to help me feel better about it.

@FlapJackered have a lovely Xmas, get plenty of r&r, and come back to us feeling chilled and happy in January xx

@Delilah7 how are you doing lovely? When is your next scan?

I’m on CD9, due to ovulate on CD13 so we’re dtd every 2 days and fingers are crossed for this cycle. I have a fairly positive feeling about it at the moment.

MrsAW2018 · 29/11/2018 09:15

@FlapJackered the annoying thing is, she's normally fantastic. I've seen her for nearly 8 years on a regular basis and rarely have a problem with her. I can't bear the thought of booking with another one as she knows all my problems and me really well. I see her again on 31/12 but if I get worse I will have to book to see another doctor before then I think. So sorry you're having a tough time, cry as much as you need to... it's quite therapeutic I find. This whole thing is rotten when you want something so badly💔.

@DayDreamer1707 it wasn't the best thing she's ever said to me and she's known me a very, very long time. A tad insensitive maybe. She's normally extremely good though so she may have been having an off day. I'm so relieved I found here to chat with ladies in the same boat as me. It's made such a difference already! Loving your idea for Saturday btw. Me and my DH are having a Christmassy day - doing the decorations, wrapping, writing Christmas cards and watching a Christmas film. I can't wait!

Bettythecat · 29/11/2018 09:04

Lovely thought @DayDreamer1707 we can all have a drink and a cosy film and think of each other up and down the country struggling with this and know we aren’t the only ones xx

DayDreamer1707 · 29/11/2018 09:03

@MrsAW2018 that's such an awful thing for your GP to say, depression is a serious thing. I have it along with anxiety, the best thing to do is talk to someone, not 'talk yourself out of it'!!! I'm on CD16/3DPO, you can always talk on here about anything that is getting you down. It's helped me massively knowing i'm not alone with my thoughts. That was not an essay by the way and we all love a good read so don't stop posting 💕

@FlapJackered has AF arrived, try and stay positive as hard as that might seem. Have a wine and relax.

It's the 1st of December this Saturday and I think everyone in this group deserves a large glass of whatever tickles their fancy and to crack on the film 'The Holiday' and eat whatever the hell we want!!!

Bettythecat · 29/11/2018 09:00

@FlapJackered sorry for being thick with this one but when you say you’ve only had 7 cycles but 9 months ttc what do you mean? Sorry if I’m missing something very obvious here! I’m sorry it hasn’t happened for you yet everyone says it can take up to a year but I don’t know about you but I can’t help but thinking I’m going to be one of the unlucky ones who can’t get pregnant naturally and so knowing these facts doesn’t really provide much comfort does it. Have you been to your GP or had any tests or anything? Xxx

FlapJackered · 29/11/2018 08:54

Girls I am going to take a few weeks break and probably won't be on much before January. Just going to try and give myself a proper month off this December. Please tag me in any new threads though and any exciting bfps!
Love and good luck to everyone. 😘❤️🤞🏻

FlapJackered · 29/11/2018 08:51

@MrsAW2018 I'm sorry but your gp sounds rubbish, is there a better doctor you can speak to? If so I would book another appointment with a different one.
Completely with you on the heartbreak. I can't stop crying this morning. ❤️

@Bettythecat I am going into cycle 7 now (9 months ttc) 😢 it's not looking good.

MrsAW2018 · 29/11/2018 08:40

Morning everyone. How are you all doing? I'm on CD11 today and going to start OPKs even though my apps say I'm not going to ovulate until CD22 but I really want to catch it this month.

Mentally I'm not doing too well. Saw my gp yesterday who said I need to talk to myself out of depression. Not sure how helpful that was. I do think TTC is affecting me now - cycle 6 and really wanted a honeymoon baby and that didn't happen. It's heartbreaking every time AF arrives or you get a negative HPT💔.

Sorry for the essay, again. Thanks for all your support.

DayDreamer1707 · 29/11/2018 08:33

Good Morning Ladies 😘

Seems like everyone is having issues with there Clear Blue ovulation tests? I was going to get one but maybe I am best sticking to the cheap One Step. They seem to be working for me this cycle and they don't cost much at all, anyone had an issue with these? I've had my surge, should I continue to test the rest of this month as it's my first cycle?

Sorry that you're both thinking you're out this month @Bettythecat @FlapJackered. I don't temp and maybe it's a good thing to kind of be a little ignorant to raise and drop in temp around certain times in my cycle. FX it is something else causing the changes for you.

Is anyone else at the beginning of their TWW? x

Bettythecat · 29/11/2018 08:09

@FlapJackered - was woken up by the cat and to go to the loo at 4am and then tossed and turned a bit. Maybe it’s because of that?! Wishful thinking probably 😫. Cycle 3, how about you?
