Hi all - apologies if I've missed anyone out on here, I'm half asleep 😂

So my AMH looks low, but within normal limits. HSG on Wednesday!

How is everyone? How are you @Delilah7?

SophiePie · 19/11/2018 19:48

@SullyWifey Every month I thought I had a few symptoms and would swear that this time was definitely it, but each time it was bfn. I thought that this time would be bfn too. Only symptoms for this time around are very light period-style cramping (like you're going to come on within a few hours but on and off), bigger and very slightly more tender boobs (sleeping on front was a little uncomfortable) and constipation. Other than that I felt normal, and still do really so it's really hard to say.

MrsEG · 19/11/2018 19:42

@SullyWifey For me I was only pregnant for 5.5 weeks before my MC but 2 weeks after I ovulated my boobs ached. It wasn’t like PMS sore boobs, they really ached and also seemed really full. It was my first clue I might be pregnant. Nothing else though!

RanchoRelaxo · 19/11/2018 19:41

@SullyWifey funnily enough I think I did know before I tested, the first time I just had a 'feeling' but no symptoms expect not getting my usual pre AF cramps, wasn't 100% surprised when I saw that faint line! Second time I expected it again but this time because I had very sore boobs similar to the ones I had about a week into the pregnancy before!

SullyWifey · 19/11/2018 19:27

Ladies who are pregnant on this thread. Did you have any idea you where PG before taking a test?

My cousin who just looks at her husband and conceives says she just knew every time before doing a test that is would be positive.

Looking back where things any different?

purplefig · 19/11/2018 19:23

@FivexFive don't do it!! Grin are you going to try and hold out until the weekend?

Cycle day 12 here. Negative opks as expected. Don't want to wish away time and live my life around this but it's hard not to. Came off the pill in the summer and naively assumed I'd be pregnant by now. Right, will stop being miserable.

DayDreamer1707 · 19/11/2018 18:21

Ok so I’m probably doing people’s head in now but I went to do my Ovulation test after work and when I wiped there was pink spotting (sorry tmi)...I’m only on cd6? Could this be my body being messed up from my MMC as it’s my 1st AF or just random spotting? So frustrated and have had slight cramps all day too 😫

GemmaJen · 19/11/2018 17:52

@PurrMaid yes I had a u/s a week after the med management as there hadn't been as much bleeding as expected. They also did an internal check and removed some tissue. Not a great experience but good to know it's all gone. I'm guessing each trust/hospital has there own guidelines. I was told if I had wanted a d&c there would've a 3week wait, which I'm guessing from other people's experiences is unusual. FX for BFNs soon!

@MrsEG there's reminders everywhere, we would have been 13w today and I just can't get it of my mind, had a big night out this weekend which was planned ages ago so we were going to tell all our friends about the pg, I was a proper party pooper, took ages to get into gear and enjoy the party. And I couldn't even tell them why. I think it'll get easier, or least I hope so. You'll get your BFP soon enough and it'll be all the sweeter for the journey getting there X

@MrsAW2018 cycle 6 has a good ring to it, FX for you x

I had a blip today, the temptation to poas was too strong. Tried an OPK, trying to ignore how bloody expensive those things are (clear blue - have bought cheapies but they're not here yet!) And it came up Low or neg which I wasn't expecting. So does that mean the left over HCG isn't affecting the test? I don't think I'll be testing everyday on this news, but I might test again when I get my BFN... FX for ovulation this month.

FivexFive · 19/11/2018 17:46

Ladies I have a ridiculous urge to poas despite only being 10 dpo and af not due until Friday. Please send virtual slaps to my silly face to make me see sense!!

Now something to make you smile... Yesterday I set our house alarm off by blanking on the code and put washing on without adding the softener OR washing tabs!! Dh response?? 'Jesus, what will you be like when you have Actual Baby Brain'?! And this from the man who was so hungover, he got on the WRONG train home!! Any kid we have will inherit our silly ways, I fear... :)

MrsAW2018 · 19/11/2018 17:34

AF has arrived with a vengeance. Gutted but knew deep down I wasn't pregnant. Ah well, on to cycle 6. Fingers crossed this is the one!

DayDreamer1707 · 19/11/2018 16:47

@RobynC19 I did a test today at about 12:30 and it was fainter than the ones I did in the morning. I will test again when I get home after work about 6ish to see the difference. I might start testing in the morning and evening like yourself x

@MrsEG I have had 4 friends announce they are pregnant since my MMC last month, 2 who also had previous MC themselves. I try to look at it as hope that my time is coming and that you can still have some positivity after a MC. Pull them pants on and keep going x

RobynC19 · 19/11/2018 16:11

@DayDreamer1707 I have been testing first urine of the day and when I get back from work about 4-5pm as that's my two longest holds the tests I have done since my hopefully positive one the test lines have got weaker so hopefully it was positive and I'm an early ovulater as today is CD11

MrsEG · 19/11/2018 15:20

@BabySquid @EltzBee Thanks both, it’s so tough! I try so hard not to be jealous but it’s hard. I went out with some friends on Saturday too and we were sat at a table next to a massive gender reveal party. Sometimes I feel like babies and pregnancy are just everywhere I look!!

BabySquid · 19/11/2018 14:24

@MrsEG I completely know how you feel, I was really blue on Halloween as I'd have been 12 weeks, and the same day, I got my invite through for my friends baby shower, who is 7 months which is how long we've now been trying! Just makes you think how unfair it is and feel really down.
But you've just gotta pick yourself back up, and think, I know it can happen, and it will happen again and stay.
Positive pants back on sweetie 🥰🤗

EltzBee · 19/11/2018 14:02

@MrsEG ah it is so hard isn't it, happy for other people but mixed with that sadness that for us it hasn't happened or hasn't worked out.

MrsEG · 19/11/2018 13:46

@GemmaJen Sorry you’re going through this, I had a MC last month. I had a faint BFP the following week and then ovulated a week after. My GP had advised your body often mistakes the MC bleeding for a period and based on my OPKs the day I ovulated was bang on two weeks after my bleeding had started.

Having a wobble today as a friend has announced her ‘surprise’ pregnancy (they weren’t trying). I’m happy for her but can’t help feeling like my balloon has been popped. Also finding it hard knowing if I hadn’t had my MC I’d be 8 weeks pregnant by now and instead I’m not at all. Feeling a bit blue. Need to get my positive pants back on.

DayDreamer1707 · 19/11/2018 12:08

@Crossfitgirl least you can TTC in every room now, make it another challenge 😋

@FlapJackered I will do one this lunch time and see what it says, i'm thinking day 6 of my cycle must be far to early anyway. I have been having a lot of CF and even had a little pink in some today so god knows!!
Maybe shove the controller down your knickers 😂 you'll get some attention then. I'm lucky my OH doesn't have an Xbox or anything but keeps saying he wants one but no chance haha x

BabySquid · 19/11/2018 12:05

@FlapJackered oh my days I'm definitely going to be giving that a go if this isn't my month.

If this isn't my month I'm going to have a couple of months off anyway due to my besties wedding in August.
But come end Jan/Feb... I'll be taking that stuff for sure!!

PurrMaid · 19/11/2018 11:54

@GemmaJen Great to hear that the test is fainter than last week, it’s definitely strange for hoping for negs! I was so obsessed with POAS when I found out and watching the lines getting stronger each day, and now it’s the oppostite 😔 But being positive and thinking that it’s beginning of a fresh start once we get that BFN.
They told me I wouldn’t have another ultrasound unless I still had a BFP after three weeks. I would have preferred an ultrasound tbh. Have you had one since the management?

FlapJackered · 19/11/2018 11:38

Morning all!
I hope everyone had a good weekend?
I have just been procrastinating at work and found this thread about using Soy Isoflavones - has anyone tried them? I may give them a go next cycle as the stats are pretty impressive!
community.babycentre.co.uk/post/a12154345/bfps_with_soy_isoflavones

GemmaJen · 19/11/2018 11:36

I may regret asking this as I've bought it and I'm using it already, so no going back, but has anyone used an ifertracker? I got one and have been using it for the last week. I wanted to track BBT but know that there was no way I was going to get consistent temps - I'm up and down to the bathroom or getting a drink in the early morning when I also have the memory of a goldfish! So far it seems to be tracking nicely. Pretty steady temp, I guess I won't know if it works until I get some temp change patterns. But interested to know how you all track BBT?

GemmaJen · 19/11/2018 11:32

@Crossfitgirl no advice from the drs other than TTC when you're ready. They didn't even mention testing to see if a hpt went down to neg. I'm a little bit of a control freak so want to know when our chances are best. I know I might not even ovulate this month. But if I do, I'm not wasting it! Grin

@PurrMaid I tested last Monday 1 week after MC and then today, it was a stonking BFP last week and today it's less clear but no denying it's there, I'm guessing that I will get a neg 3 weeks from the MC. It seems strange to be excited to see a completely neg test! The uncertainty is excruciating, I like to be in control! Have you been called back for a u/s to see that everythings clear?

DayDreamer1707 · 19/11/2018 11:26

@cupcakesandglitter I have only ever really done the test 1st thing in the morning around 8/9 this weekend so I am going to do one on my lunch break at dinner.

It's hard to say, this is my first proper cycle since my MMC so going from my MC I had a cycle of 30days but before the MC it would be between around 24-27 days so i'm really not sure? I did get a BFN after the MMC so I know that there is no Hcg left over, fresh new start and cycle this month.

We DTD twice this weekend just because, maybe I shall see what the result is at lunch x

cupcakesandglitter · 19/11/2018 11:20

@DayDreamer1707 if they look like that I'd say you're super super close as someone said earlier - DTD as much as you can just in case you might miss the surge with OPKs. They're also super weird with results, some of mine disappear after a few minutes but the one before AF actually looked blank until DH walked past it around 20 mins later! I think that was so strong though because it must've been a huge surge just before AF I think.. I'd keep doing the OPKs anyway just in case. How long are your cycles normally? Sorry if I've missed it x

Morning ladies! Thank you for all the welcomes 😄
@GemmaJen So sorry to hear you are going through the same. It’s been the worst time of my life. My bleeding has very nearly stopped, will try my best to wait till the weekend to test for a BFN. Want to do one today but know I’ll feel disheartened when it’s positive as it’s still only been a week since med management. Got all my fingers crossed for you!!
We haven’t done the deed since I fell pregnant at beginning of September 🙈 I didn’t want to disturb the baby haha! So silly to think like that, especially after how things sadly turned out, but I’m so excited to baby dance again 😆😆
