Hi all - apologies if I've missed anyone out on here, I'm half asleep 😂

@purplefig I'm with you. It's easy to be patient when it's someone else's body.

purplefig · 21/11/2018 14:45

@ValidUser ahh glad you got it sorted quickly then! I keep thinking 12 months is an awful long time to potentially be trying if there is something wrong.

Delilah7 · 21/11/2018 14:40

@DayDreamer1707 thank youuuuuuu xx

DayDreamer1707 · 21/11/2018 14:36

@Delilah7 CONGRATS!! Spread that baby dust x

@SullyWifey Hope all goes well and you get some good news x

@purplefig I totally agree with you, fresh air and a nice work can go a long way for your mind x

Does anyone have an experience with Ovulation bleeding or just pinkish spotting?

ValidUser · 21/11/2018 14:35

Sorry, second bit was @SullyWifey

ValidUser · 21/11/2018 14:34

@purplefig only 4 months, but I knew I'd have scarring from a childhood peritonitis.

Procedure was fine - worst bit was the speculum. I have a very deep foof.

purplefig · 21/11/2018 14:31

@SullyWifey still, it's good to get confirmation. Sending you a big virtual hug, I've just been reading up on endo and it does not sound like fun - I'll never moan about my low-level cramping pains again!! I hope you're feeling OK following the appointment. x

Delilah7 · 21/11/2018 14:29

@SullyWifey thank you!!! Xxx

SullyWifey · 21/11/2018 14:28

@Delilah7 yay so glad! Everything's going forward!!! Xxxx

@ValidUser ooo yay to super sperm!! Glad it's all been cleared! This is fab news! So happy for you!! What was the procedure like?

@purplefig yes I thought it was that so no new news really. Just the consultant had to think it was to in order to be put forward to the Lap!

purplefig · 21/11/2018 14:27

@ValidUser that is great news they were able to unblock one! Come on egg from the good side, we're rooting for you!! Out of interest, how long have you been trying before finding this out?

Delilah7 · 21/11/2018 14:25

@MrsEG thank you!!!

MrsEG · 21/11/2018 14:25

@Delilah7 That is wonderful news :) so pleased for you!

Delilah7 · 21/11/2018 14:25

@ValidUser @purplefig I could literally cry!!!!!

ValidUser · 21/11/2018 14:24

@Delilah7 congratulations! ❤️

So dh has super sperm and I had 2 blocked tubes. Radiologist unblocked one (and other is surgically damaged so a no go.)

Starting Clomid to try and get an egg from the good side! Feeling positive enough

purplefig · 21/11/2018 14:22

@Delilah7 congrats! That's brilliant news - you must be so happy and relieved!!

purplefig · 21/11/2018 14:21

@SullyWifey so normal to be nervous - I'm so glad they took it seriously too. Am I right in thinking you thought it was Endometriosis?

Delilah7 · 21/11/2018 14:19

I'm so happy.

HCG LEVELS!

purplefig · 21/11/2018 14:19

@MrsR16 It's frustrating isn't it? I've found the best thing is to just try and ride it out, not dwell on it too much and where possible try and improve things (e.g. write a gratitude list, try and eat well, go for a walk outside) etc. Hope you feel better soon.

SullyWifey · 21/11/2018 14:17

Thank you for the luck ladies. I was so nervous and I don't know why!!

So Officially on wait list for Laposocpy as they still suspect it to be Endometriosis. Will be anything up to 3 months though, just have to wait for the letter. But they will clear away anything they find during the procedure so I won’t have to wait for another one. Having an MRI in the meantime to check for something beginning with A... I can’t remember what he said?? It’s all being done through the private hospital which is fab. (Thinking they must have to see x amount of nhs patients or something) The consultant was so kind and I actually felt like he gave a shit. So wait game again.

Although ball is moving don’t feel like I got any further with anything!

Here’s hoping a get pregnant before the operation! 🤞🏻🤞🏻👶🤞🏻🤞🏻

@purplefig I'm with you in the low moods for no reason. My mental health has been tested to the limits his past year!! I brought that up today too with the consultant and he just said that's so normal to be like that suddenly when your on a ttc journey. I said I'm a mess some days and he just laughed and said yup you might just have to ride that out for now.
Glad your feeling positive today xx

@EltzBee really strange it change your O day?? Confusing.

@ValidUser good luck, let us know how it goes. All good steps to knowing more xx

MrsR16 · 21/11/2018 13:56

@purplefig I'm in the same boat!! I feel really down for no real reason! I hate it because it's not like me at all. I'm glad you're doing ok today though 😊

purplefig · 21/11/2018 13:45

@ValidUser @SullyWifey good luck today!

@FlapJackered oh wow you started off with some very long cycles - must have been frustrating. Though satisfying to see them come down?

How's everyone's mental health doing today? I feel like TTC can take a real toll.

I've had a crappy few days for no particular reason (blaming it on the weather) but today is better already. I've got on top of life admin, taken a walk in the sunshine and spoke with loved ones. I've also made a huge gratitude list, which always puts things into perspective in my experience. Just about to do an OPK then having a nice big cup of tea before an afternoon of productive work!

FlapJackered · 21/11/2018 12:08

@EltzBee I think you're right. I am seeing my GP on Friday so will ask her. I am hopefully getting referred to a fertility specialist so will grill her too.

@KatBeCool they are not overly regular but the last few have been in the 30s so hopefully they are levelling our now! Lengths have been - 51,55,47,29,38,31,32.
I think you're right though as the last thing I want is to go back to 50+ day cycles! I will wait and see if I can get a referral to the fertility specialist and then see what they make of it.

sunshine1987 · 21/11/2018 12:01

@katbecool I wasn’t being sexist, gender doesn’t matter, just like you said it wasn’t his expertise as in his experience it’s the female doctors at the surgery that know more

KatBeCool · 21/11/2018 11:37

@sunshine1987 I don't think being knowledgeable depends on the Dr gender. I have a male Dr and he's awesome. It just depends on their specialty and experience.

@FlapJackered I thought your cycles were more or less normal, I wouldn't use soy if I were you. Soy is very potent, especially in the crazy amounts of that supplement.

sunshine1987 · 21/11/2018 10:26

@flapjackered I hope so, I’ve missed the boat this month but hopefully they’ll suggest I can next month when they call back. Can then start 2019 with more knowledge xx
