@senorasurf massive congratulations! x

purplefig · 22/11/2018 17:17

@sunshine1987 @cupcakesandglitter thanks for your advice. Will keep testing and keeping at it Wink and see what's what. I was ridiculously excited to see it darken!! Though only day 15 of 34+ day cycles, so thought it'd be a week off yet!

@SenoraSurf congrats!! Amazing news. I need to get better line spotting abilities clearly.

MrsAW2018 · 22/11/2018 17:08

@SenoraSurf congratulations! X

GemmaJen · 22/11/2018 16:56

@stormtrooperjulian I've got a Fitbit, I can't say that I can see a pattern for ovulation, though tbf I've never closely monitored ovulation with OPKs or anything previously. The only pattern I can see is that my rhr dips slightly when I think I've ovulated, and that ties in with when I got pg prior to the MC. Interestingly my rhr rose (from 59 up to 70) after i got my BFP and then was the first sign of the MMC - dropped back down at the same sort of time as the growth stopped, 3w prior to scan. I think I'll take my Fitbit off if I ever get a BFP again as I'll be worrying massively if my rhr drops and I know from googling it that it doesn't always mean something.

@SenoraSurf congratulations! Grin

SophiePie · 22/11/2018 16:50

@SenoraSurf Congratulations! Sooo happy for you!

SophiePie · 22/11/2018 16:48

@Daydreamer1707 @stormtrooperjulian @purplefig Thank you, I'm definitely going to stop testing from now on. It's more stress than its worth

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 16:47

@SenoraSurf that's fantastic news!!! Congrats!! x

SenoraSurf · 22/11/2018 16:32

You lovely lot were right! BFP on an frer today (yep... I caved in!) x

stormtrooperjulian · 22/11/2018 16:32

@cupcakesandglitter my Fitbit measures my heart rate (I have the Alta HR, it’s about £120 I think), I wear it overnight then in the morning it calculates the resting heart rate. If you look on the previous page I posted a chart of my rhr for a full cycle, can see a clear pattern. I don’t know if the pattern would be the same for everyone? But that’s what I get every cycle.

RobynC19 · 22/11/2018 16:27

I'm only 3dpo and I swear it has already felt like a lifetime 😕

cupcakesandglitter · 22/11/2018 15:31

@KatBeCool I'd definitely consider getting a monitor but a lot further down the TTC line! It's crazy that such a small difference can change temps!

@GemmaJen ooh okay, please keep me posted on how it goes! X

@stormtrooperjulian I had no idea you could check heart rate!! How does it work? X

@purplefig I'd say it's very close to positive - if they get lighter again I'd take it as your positive (unless you get another surge this month)

I did another OPK and atm it looks super faint so I'm guessing I got the surge yesterday!

Doctors called me to go through my bloods, the stupid idiot didn't know what he was on about and didn't even know what my test was for (usual doctor wasn't in today) he's going to call me back later giving me the numbers so I'll post them when I know! Xx

@mrsr16 good to see you back, hope you’re ok x

sunshine1987 · 22/11/2018 15:27

@purplefig not quite there yet but definitely heading that way x

purplefig · 22/11/2018 15:21

Does the latest OPK look positive? Or heading that way? This is my first month using them!!

Sophie - glad all ok, what a stress!!

Mrsr16 - ttc related or in general? Xx

CD33 of a (normally) 28 day cycle. Another FMU BFN, using Tesco own brand this time. Still no sign of AF.

MrsR16 · 22/11/2018 12:58

@SophiePie as @DayDreamer1707 says, no need to apologise! We can all be a bit bat shit crazy every now and then 😊 it's nice to share the experience with others!

Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently - I'm having a mini life crisis (don't know what I want to do with my life, etc.) so am just taking days as they come! 😁 glad to see everyone's doing ok at the moment, especially @Delilah7 (so thrilled for you!) xx

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 12:40

@SophiePie oh that's good then and no need to apologise 😘

SophiePie · 22/11/2018 12:38

@Daydreamer1707 @stormtrooperjulian No, will be 6 weeks omorrow which is why the Clearblue negative was so surprising. Ran out and tried two First Response Rapid Response just now and both came up strong positive so now I'm both relieved and very confused. Sorry for bothering everyone with this, I've been a nervous wreck lately

stormtrooperjulian · 22/11/2018 11:50

@DayDreamer1707 I wear my Fitbit overnight as I use it as an alarm then it works out my rhr when I open the app in the morning.

@purplefig I think my decs will go up over the second weekend in December (we’re away for the first weekend). When do you put yours up?

@SophiePie could you phone your GP and ask for a blood test to check what’s happening?

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 11:49

@SophiePie so you are 5 days late from AF? Have you had any bleeding? x

SophiePie · 22/11/2018 11:30

@Dadydreamer1707 Had first bfp 5 days late at around 12th November/15 DPO. Been test every now and then for reassurance. First was IC- showed negative at first then a very faint line but that was after maybe 5-10mins, second was a BFN from Clearblue

SullyWifey · 22/11/2018 11:14

@FivexFive sorry to hear that darling. Yes such good plan to try relaxing about it for a while. Have a great holiday xxx

@EltzBee could we dare get too optimistic and think that is an implantation dip?? 7DPO is the perfect time for that...??? Don't want to jinx it but just saying!!

I haven't temped at all since Sunday as Iv been so sick and not sleeping etc. Hoping I will be able to temp again tomorrow. Taken day off work today to try and kick this horrible thing!!

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 11:13

@stormtrooperjulian Just realised I don't have a fitbit or anything, duh but it is black Friday tomorrow 🤔

@Idhrenniel sorry if you have already said but when did you get a positive etc? x

Idhrenniel · 22/11/2018 10:51

So I just did a test for reassurance- negative. Then I did another and it's negative too. I'm freaking out that I miscarried

DayDreamer1707 · 22/11/2018 10:34

@stormtrooperjulian I may look into this further as it's another good idea. I have just started using OPKS for the first time but haven't seen anything yet really but I am only on CD9. I am guessing you take it first thing in the morning?

Also I can't wait for Christmas decorations as it's mine and the OH first Christmas in our house together xx
