Question to everyone -

How do you stay sane?!

I find myself thinking about TTC every day to the point of obsession. Every week someone else announces they are pregnant, be it a friend or celeb. My husband wants it as much as I do but once his jobs done when ovulating he kicks back and relaxes while I second guess every cramp, sore boob and mood swing!!

I’ve tried really hard this month to stay active, get out walking the dog more, going to the gym, making plans to fill weekends. Just wondered how everyone else stays sane and manages to keep their minds on ANYTHING else!!

@FlapJackered @SulleyWifey I hate the tww too, I hate the waiting and not knowing. I wish we could just know straight away, either way, so we could move on and not be stuck in limbo for so long!

@cupcakesandglitter glad you got good news from the dr! I get dizzy and lightheaded when I have af, I’m incredibly clumsy at all times though 😂

@GemmaJen Well after my MMC I bleed heavily for about 3 days (had to take some medication to help things along) and then spotted for about a week and a half, then I had nothing and had my first AF after 30 days. I spotted very lightly for 2 days before it arrived and then had my AF for 3 days, not heavy at all just like I would normally. Before the MC I averaged on cycles of around 23 days so I am hoping this cycle will be like that but I don't really know as I had some pinkish mucus the other day.

When did you have your MC? Things will be OK but I know how hard it is not knowing whats going on with yourself. Especially if you just want to start trying again. All I can say is try your best to stay positive and our bodies are pretty amazing even if we have no control x

@DayDreamer1707 what was your first cycle like up to AF? I'm getting positive OPKs (3 days), low temps but cramping for the last 2 days but no sign of AF. Literally so confused.

@gemmajen this is my first month trying since my MMC in October, hopefully we get some good news together in the future. I still don't have a clue whats going on with my body even since I had AF last week for the 1st time x

CD10 and praying that I start to see some differences on my OPKs in the next couple of days! Everything still seems to be all over the place x

@GemmaJen I'm a control freak too. I basically have to set rules that I'm not to test until I'm late or there are some very clear signs. I can at least control when I test. But I hate the Shrodinger pregnancy every time.

@ValidUser did HSG hurt? I'm terrified after reading things. You mentioned you knew something wasn't right. Did you have any symptoms? My dr mentioned that blocked tubes are quite common.

@Rachael321 the uncertainty is the worst! I'd rather have AF than not know what the hell is going on, feel so betrayed by my body when it just doesn't seem to be following the rules!

@MrsEG I'm a control freak so the not knowing is just so infuriating. Fx you get a BFP and not AF

@GemmaJen It’s tough isn’t it - I’m in the same boat, MC at the end of October. I did ovulate this month and expecting AF on Monday. Dreading it really but will be glad to be back to trying again :)

I'm due AF on Tuesday but have an overwhelming urge to POAS which I've never had before. Usually I can wait quite a while! I even had a dream about it last night, with a pos result🤞🏻
Although I don't feel pregnant like I did last time so who knows.

@cupcakesandglitter that's so frustrating, how can the dr say it's pointless doing another test if he doesn't even know what they're for anyway?!! I'd demand both another dr and a retest.
@Rachael321 I can't imagine how frustrated you must be feeling. But I agree, hold off on testing now for a few days if she still isn't here.

@SullyWifey ah probably too optimistic. I think my temperature is just being flaky this month, it is so up and down compared to the last. Would love it if it did mean a thing, but doubt I'm that lucky! 🤔 Sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly, hope the lurgy buggers off soon.

@FlapJackered that's a good idea. Might try and lift the pressure next month too if it doesn't happen this time...although easier said than done no doubt.

@cupcakesandglitter that is so frustrating about dr and tests surely they must have patient record from your previous visit and tests?! That makes no sense. Can you ask to speak to someone else?

Had a row with DH tonight. Lost my patience as he hadn't done something I'd delegated to him months ago and I was so frustrated. Gonna blame post ovulation hormones for making me blurt it out!

Will see what my temp does in morning and report back again!

Still no sign of AF now on day 40. Usually 31-34 day cycles!! Decided not to test again until Saturday. Just want to know either way!! Hate not knowing

So now is my official month 1, I've decided. The 4 cycles we did try, I had no functioning tubes.

Let the baby making begin!

@gemmajen I think first month after mc you’re most fertile so definetely worth trying to catch it if you’re feeling like you want to. If it went low to high then I would take those positives OPK’s as a good sign and keep at it. Also look for EWCM too xx

@FlapJackered I'm with you with that. AF due 1 week today and for some reason I just know I'm out. Getting to the point where I'm trying to treat my body like a temple but actually it's still not making an bloody different.

Wish we could fast forward the tww too. It's starting to drain me now. The thought of going into cycle cycle 12 makes me want to vom!!

Hi @sunshine1987, no not insensitive at all. Not had a fully neg HPT but it's fading well. Have had a low clear blue opk and now at a high for the last 3 days. I know I might not o this cycle, but if I do I want to catch it - have had Drs permission to ttc again following clear u/s.

I have decided December I am going to have a month off, drink and eat what I want and forget about ttc. So if it isn't my month this cycle then at least I have that to look forward to!

@gemmajen hope I’m not being insensitive or upsetting you but did you have a negative pregnancy test after the mc? The OPK’s are definitely positive xx

TMI: so much egg white cm!! So definitely gearing up for ovulation I think. Our bodies are pretty incredible!

@sunshine1987 yeah I'm alright, Hun, just having a few down days! I'm in my TWW at the moment, with AF supposed to happen next Wednesday. I'm out this weekend and have decided that I'm not going to worry about it, have a few drinks and enjoy myself!

I finally got some strips so I don't have to waste cb's. Are they positive? Close? Still a very light line on the HCG.
