I’ve taken an OPK and a pregnancy test tonight due to not having a clue where I am in my cycle thanks to previous MC. I’ve been having consistently positive OPKs for 2 weeks and EWCM even while my boobs have been hurting the last few days, which is a sure sign that ovulation has happened for me, so I’m confused! I think I can see the faintest line imaginable on the pregnancy test (preg test top, OPK bottom) DH thinks I’ve lost my mind Grin
So tell me, can you see anything or is it wishful thinking?

Oh I know I was just agreeing with what you said about a positive OPK indicating period on the way lol

Thank you, this is a positive OPK for me though. This is as good as they ever get. The test line is darker than the control, they are both just pale. It’s always been that way, including the month I conceived before.

Yeah apparently you get a surge of LH right before your period .

Sorry I can't see anything on any of the pregnancy tests including today and the opk doesn't look that positive to me either. When mine reach their peaks they seem to be a lot darker than that.

This is today’s OPK. I have heard that a positive OPK can indicate that a period is about to start, so who knows.

I had positive OPK in the lead up to my positive pregnancy test - it was one of the ways I realised I might be pregnant as we weren't fully TTCing at. at the time but I knew I'd ovulated earlier in the month. Sending you best wishes!

@Regina Good point! I’m sure I would. OPK’s are still positive! Well they are as positive as they ever get for me, including the month I conceived. So I really have no idea what’s going on. I give up! Grin

Have u kept going with OPKs? Any lines on those ?

I can see a very very faint line, if I hold the pic away slightly. Only one way to tell, test tomorrow? Xxx

Just a quick update: I’ve tested every day since I think I’ve seen something extremely faint on everyone single one. DH thinks otherwise though. I can’t tell anymore if I’m seeing a line or if I’m just going crazy. God I hate this TTC lark! This is my FRER from this morning. What do you think?

I think I can see something very faint on the latest pics but not sure if it’s shadow from the plastic of the test?

Just to let you know, you should NEVER dip an opk and pregnancy test in the same urine sample, as, particularly if you dip the opk first, it can produce false lines on the pregnancy test.

Update: I caved and sent H to the shop. I still think I can see a very very faint line, but H still thinks not. What do you all think?
I’m definitely going to test tomorrow with FMU

You need to do a pink dye FRER - I also think I can see a really faint line but a FRER is much clearer to see generally. I think a clear blue digital would say not pregnant because they’re not as sensitive and if that is a positive it’s very very early!
