Starting the TWW - anyone want to join ?

Crossing my fingers for some BFPs anyone testing this weekend!! I have told myself last time of testing before AF is due as the disappointment is just too much!
Expecting to see her on Wednesday and have a Clear Blue early detection stick to pee on tomorrow morning but I'm it hopeful. Maybe it will be a BFP for Christmas xx

I'm in the tww but because my periods have only just started up again from breastfeeding my DS for the past year I've only had 2 AF. Supposedly meant to have started last Saturday but didn't, then found out I ovulated that night after a bout of really bad cramps and a dark positive opk so I'm wondering if I ovulated twice this month, or I got a dud test on one of them.

Either way, my predicted AF this time isn't until 30th Dec according to my data predictor...

@stroan the urge to pee on an expensive stick is strong!!!!! I've just had every intention of dipping one, but my pee was so dilute I resisted! I hope I'm not just seeing things I want to see! I'm only 9DPO so I wouldn't be expecting a blazer on an IC any way!

I’ve got one tonight too, but absolutely nothing his morning. I refuse to buy any expensive tests until I’m at least 15dpo or get a really strong line on an IC!

I've either completely lost the plot, or I've stared at so many blank white tests that I'm just imagining things....or I have a genuine squinter! DH can't see it, damn I can't even see it most of the time! But every now and again I see it! I've got a clear blue early detection for the morning (DH bought them, already doubting any sort of line because it's a blue one!) Can't wait to go to sleep so I can pee!

Oh yey! that means this Sunday/Monday should be exciting days for us @Boo2you

@Babytrain89 at this point in time, it's a wait and see for us all...thankfully I have a dinner tonight and tomorrow will be in a training from very early in the morning and then a masquerade ball...so that should keep me busy until Sunday lol I will keep you all posted fx

@EsaBel I ovulated last Friday but my AF is due on Thursday so fairly similar too!

@Esabel AF due here on 26th so it was earlier than I was expecting...but had some signs of ovulation. Guess it's a wait and see situation. This is our first cycle of trying so very much taking it as a learning curve! Hope you get your BFP!

@cinnabonbons I ended up going on Amazon today getting the Wondfo's since these apparently read hcg at level 10 so I'll probably test again when they arrive. This is our first month trying after our lap so I don't feel too bad about the BFN...it'll happen when it's meant to.

@babytrain89 it sounds like our cycles might be pretty close...AF is supposed to arrive a week from today and I ovulated last week Fri.

First month ttc over here...been lurking trying to decipher the acronyms! Not a clue re: ovulation and kits...think it was mid- end last week. We're trying to be very relaxed about it and go with the flow....hasn't stopped me symptom spotting though! Good luck every one!

Same with me, i checked yesterday, and ofcourse it was BFN..... its so hard isnt it, but after 5 months of trying i dont get as disappointed abymore, u get used to the negative 😩

So I caved last night and took an IC...BPN of course I should've just waited until Monday like I said I would...

I was not very hopeful for this cycle because of my UTI and how sick I was etc. But I'm actually late now and no sign of AF 😮

I'm just trying to hold out a bit because I can't stand seeing those awful negative tests anymore 😩

I am not good at waiting as it is so this is a nightmare. It is my wedding anniversary today and we are going out for a meal and drinks, was hoping to know for then but will just have to have 1 or 2 just in case

BFN today. Waiting for bleeding to start.

According to my GP up to 50% of pregnancies fail even before AF due day. I will never test early again.

Everyone is pregnancy at the mo! Go to a music class the teacher and 3 other mins are pregnant then go to the soft play and loads of pregnant people around!!

@louise392 I can’t really talk because I’ve been testing since 7dpo, but it is very early. Implantation may not have even happened yet so you might have to wait a few more days at least.

There’s a really good set of stats on here that show you the percentage of people getting BFPs on certain days. It helped me to be (a tiny bit!) more patient.

@mrsof20118 hopefully! That was the last test in the house so that might help me control myself. More internet cheapies coming tomorrow though! I am definitely thinking it might be an FMU issue for me.

When I got my BFP with my daughter it was a very faint line in the morning and then a very strong line the same afternoon. So of course now I’m wondering if I should buy more tests and test this afternoon 🙈

I am a newbie here but feel like i need some advice/support, hate waiting!
Been on the mini pill for nearly a year, came off in October. I ovulated on 8th/9th Nov, we dtd both days, woke up the next morning feeling sick both days, now 7 dpo, had sore nipples/breasts since then, stomach cramps, some diarrhoea and constipation, done a test, bfn up to now.
Obviously as i have had no period for nearly a year on the pill i dont know when/if that will come but have been ovulating every moth even on the pill.
Any advice would be great.
