Hi can anyone help,
I am two days late and yesterday I got what I thought was a positive clear blue, so today I bought a first response, but this appears to be negative. Any ideas ? Am I pregnant?

Hi! 11DPO today have been getting faint first response early tests since 9DPO.
Today I took a clear blue that was clearly a BFP but also took a frer and a easy at home strip and they are still faint there from the same FMU. Does that mean anything ?

I just had a miscarriage last cycle (this is a new pregnancy not old hcg) so I’m hoping it’s not another one.

Hi all I'm new to this, last pregnancy was 7 years ago and I also had a chemical pregnancy last year.
OK my period was due today but I thought I couldn't be pregnant because I always spot about 10 days before period starts up until period and it has done this time but its stopping now and know period as yet, ibknow its only day one but I decided to do a test. I used a clear&simple test stick and it's positive, with the same urine I used a first response 6 day early and its negative so now I'm really confused and wondering if anyone else has had this and what happened? #headupass

Tttaaa · 24/10/2020 15:21

Reading your post and comments I’m in same situation were you pregnant?

RLOU30 · 07/11/2018 22:49

Yes the digital ones always have two lines unfortunatly it means nothing in these tests, sorry x

costacoffeecup · 07/11/2018 18:11

@zaralouise if it was a clear blue weeks indicator clear blue there are always two lines even if not pregnant

RLOU30 · 07/11/2018 12:05

Sorry Zaralouise, my reply was aimed at the OP. Perhaps you would be better starting your own thread for more of a response. If you are a new member you will not be able to post photos straight away.

zaralouise · 07/11/2018 11:48

Thank you x

Tattandthis · 07/11/2018 11:46

Fingers crossed for you x

zaralouise · 07/11/2018 11:44

it was a Clearblue digital, I got a negative result in the window but took it apart straight away and there was clearly 2 lines on the test,

RLOU30 · 07/11/2018 11:27

If it’s the clear blue easy read test (with diamond shaped control box) all mine come out like a positive before I was actually pregnant. I once got my partner to wee on it and it come out with a blue centered line. They should be recalled

zaralouise · 07/11/2018 08:38

Hi I’m currently in limbo as I’ve had 2 negative first response tests at 13dpo and a negative Clearblue rapid detection, I did a Clearblue digital this morning (14 dpo) and I’m 3 days away from my period, but still negative, however I opened up the inside and there’s clearly two lines? I’m not sure how to add a photo to my post so if someone could tell me I’ll attatch pictures? Just wondering if anyone could help

Sexnotgender · 07/11/2018 08:05

I’m usually pretty good at spotting lines on FRER but can’t see anything on your latest one. Sorry.

FrangelicoCandyBoughs · 07/11/2018 08:04

I can see something in your new test, but really faint

CookingGood · 07/11/2018 07:49

I can’t see anything on your latest test, sorry.

endofacentury · 07/11/2018 06:53

I've just done another frer, think I can see a really faint line but not sure?
I have pcos so never sure if I ovulate or if I do at all it's normally late, maybe this is why I still have no period and no positive test?'

I can see a really faint line on FRER

Darkstar4855 · 06/11/2018 23:24

Was the Clear Blue one an early result test?

I agree trying an FRER with first morning urine would be the next step.

Essexmummy88 · 06/11/2018 21:49

I think you must be pregnant. Please do update tomorrow!

As a PP said, which first response test do you have?
There are two types:

First response early response, which is the type that picks up before you miss your period (sensitivity is 6.5mlu)

First response rapid result, which is far less sensitive and picks up a result after you’ve missed your period (sensitivity is 100mlu)

endofacentury · 06/11/2018 21:16

Yeah who knows! Will just have to try again tomorrow

If it's an frer I'd expect the line to be stronger but I can see a line on it. Blue tests do give false positives but they're usually a thin line off centre, that looks pretty positive to me. Hmmmmmm

endofacentury · 06/11/2018 20:48

I used fmu with the clear blue, but then the first response I did this afternoon after work, although my urine was quite dark as I'd hardly drank anything. I have another one I can use in the morning. But the clear blue looks blue rather than grey so that's what I am thinking is it positive? And I am never late!

Do u have any ovulation sticks lying about? They pick up on the pregnancy hormone. That's how I found out x
