December bus ho ho ho

I start testing a few days before my app says I will be fertile. Afternoons are ment to be best time to test. Once it starts showing something I then usually test twice a day. 1pm and 6pm if I can. And I will test again today about 3pm to see if it has got darker.

Once I get a positive I still test the next day until negative.

It has helped me track my cycle better and a few times it's helped but I have had a number of chemicals so no success fully.

@Soberfutures also, I got the Glow app for iPhone. You can photograph the strips and it reads them to tell you if it's positive or negative. It's not 100% accurate but I've found it pretty good.

Then it uses the data to more accurately predict your FW and O day etc.

@Soberfutures I used the same ones. Think I bought a smaller pack tho, maybe 40? I got their cheapie pregnancy tests too!

@Queenofmyownheart sorry about AF 🙁 if you google SMEP (sperm meets egg plan) it gives you a good plan to follow. Might be handy if you haven't already tried? You DTD every other day from CD8 and then daily from your first positive OPK test. That's roughly what we've done this month. I'll let you know in two weeks if it works 😂😂

@Soberfutures I'm no expert but I'd personally think that was very very nearly positive

So AF eventually showed up. And after becoming a great aunt this week and being sent adorable photos every 20 minutes, Me n DP are now in military planning mode determined to get my BFP at the end of this month. So what's the deals with OPKs? Recommendations? How do I use them? Welcoming any advice as I've never used them but the determination is real this month. This will be my bloody month 😂

Was on an October bus but ended up with a chemical after getting confusing lines/evaps then got a positive on 3rd Oct but massive bleed on the 4th.

We didn't try last month but giving a good go this month. I have pcos so using opks can be difficult as I've sometimes has 2 or 3 LH surges. I don't temp but may start after this cycle.

Due ovulation tomorrow. Had a very negative opk yesterday and nearly positive today. Dtd yesterday and will convince hubby later lol.

@MrsP4 I really feel for you. You do never know though...I had sore boobs with DS and it was something I'd never had before. I tested quite late though...I'm pretty irregular doe to PCOS, it was cycle 8 and I was fed up, my cycles were all over the place(one was 60 days!) my youngest sister had just announced she was pregnant with her second. I'd given up testing and AF being late was nothing new so it may just be a matter of waiting a few days. I'll keep everything crossed for you!

Anyone else about to enter FW? Mine starts Friday and I'm thinking I should jump on DH tonight to kick things off! Plan is tonight, Friday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and if we're not dead from exhaustion Thursday! Could do with a buddy to cheer me on!!

@MrsP4 I'm due on the 11th. I absolutely know I'll start testing early, next week. Maybe on the 5th or 6th! Sorry about your BFN. 10po is still very early though as pp said. I've read that implantation can take place up until 12days po! So in that case, a positive result wouldn't show until a few days later! I still have my FX for you.

Convinced I can see something but even if there is anything it's not pink so I'm not holding out much hope, like you said if I still keep getting symptoms I'll test again! Haven't got anymore tests at home will have to get some

@unicornxo yeah I look at for that long I convince myself there's a line 🙈 here's two different pics of it white as a sheet I have to stop looking otherwise I'll drive myself round the bend!

This is my first cycle since coming off the mini pill so have no idea when I’ll O or when AF is due. Apps are predicticing I’ll O on 6th and AF due on 21st December but we’ll see.

@MrsP4 10dpo is still really early and isn't forced to show. Did you study it for even a faint line? I do that 😂 if you're still getting symptoms I would test again in a few days x

@unicornxo I'm 10DPO can't help beating myself up about it, I had symptoms this month that I've never had before so maybe that's why I was a bit more hopeful! It's so hard because I feel like DH doesn't understand he's just like oh well maybe next month which is fine but I think I'm annoyed a little bit that I'm the one feeling every little thing and it's my body that's going to change. I haven't even told him that I've had any symptoms because I don't want to get his hopes up! So kinda feel like I'm in it on my own 😞 sorry for being negative nelly! I'm so glad we have this forums to know that we're not alone!

@MrsP4 try not to be to disappointed. How many days DPO are you? It could still be a bit early. Our bodies do sometimes play tricks on us though, it's really unfair.

I'm feeling ok but got an awful sore throat and cough. I don't feel any different really. I keep imagining I've got mild AF cramps which I've had with my previous pregnancies but I think I'm just imagining them x

@unicornxo I wasn't going to test until Friday but last night was awful I couldn't sleep went to the bathroom a few times thinking I was going to be sick so I told myself I would test this morning and it was a BFN! 😞 I just don't get it, I've had every symptom going. The boobs are the main thing because it's something I've never had and never experience with AF. Oh well, body playing tricks on me again I suppose. Glad it's out of my mind now. Just want AF to hurry up and get here now. How are you?

I had a miscarriage a few years ago and testing early in previous months has made things harder for me so I’m going to try to leave it until December 7th to test.

How is everyone feeling today?

I'm not due until 19 dec - my birthday!! But think I won't test until day after as really don't want to have a bfn first thing and although I've got the day of work DH will be working and we will just have a cosy night in so not worried about being able to drink

Fertility friend is confusing me at the moment. It says AF is due on 5th December, but recommends I test on 15th December!

Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm not sure I could wait 10 whole days!!
