hi ladies from the old TTC thread, time to start a new one you think? Its gone way past 500!

Right.go on then, a little bit of magic is fun!

am off to Glasto this weds, and aparantly its good luck to run around the stone circle 3 times.

I'm doing it once for myself and some of my TTC buddies, but if you fancy a little of the glasto luck your way... pop your name here!

(its only a bit of fun!)

Hello everyone and welcome WP

Just a post 'n' run as am mad busy with work and going on hol tomorrow (!) but I'll see you all in two weeks hopefully on my 2ww.

PM

PS kensgirl - try being 12st4

nomoremagnolia · 20/06/2007 19:54

PM - I quite like my bear name, but don't want to change on here as you all know me as nomore. I had nomore early on and got bear a few days ago. I post as bear on threads where it doesn't really matter as no-one 'knows' me (books, harry potter, forces wives, chat, big brother )
I'm not being dishonest if that's what you thought?

hi wp, just invited you to join us on your other thread, then I come here and you're ahead of me! welcome anyway.

hello everyone else too

welshprincess · 20/06/2007 19:02

kensgirl · 20/06/2007 18:00

Hi all

Hope fifi puts an extra circle onfor mr, I didn't post to ask her too, and now have scary thoughs that I'm going to be sat on a stool on my own in the 1st baby thread....

Hey mistlethrush! Can't you pounce on him in a way he just hasn't got enough willpower to resist? Undies, perfume, the full monty (maybe even literally? ) I really feel for you with this, its so much out of your control. Big hug to you, and hope you are manging to keep smiling.

Nomore, I shall look out for you now as bear......

Ladies, back to the belly. I.m so fed up! i.ve just weighed myself at my mums, and at 9 stone I'm at my heaviest ever and came home and consoled myself with 2 penguins and a turkish delight. Not v good, I know , but you do see my problem...

hello to ready, gilly, mrsmc, seaside, city, bella, woodmouse, scorpio, hope you are all going to be around or popping in again soon.

PinkMartini · 20/06/2007 17:20

NHS dental work free when preggers I think.

Treenie · 20/06/2007 13:26

Hi ladies
does anyone know if you can go to the denist and have fillings etc when you are preggers? Wondering if this is somehting I should squeeze in asap? Hate going and haven't been since I got my teeth whitened before my wedding nearly two years ago. The most painful thing ever - never, never get it done!

toomuchtimeonline · 20/06/2007 11:01

oops - I obivously meant thought not though..

toomuchtimeonline · 20/06/2007 09:25

Mistle - why is DH not co-operating? I though men though about sex every 3 minutes

toomuchtimeonline · 20/06/2007 09:24

Hi guys!! Been manic at work this week so haven't been able to post as much as I'd like..

Hope Fi is having fun travelling to Glasto - she's going to be knackered running around so many times

I'm with you on the belly front girls!! I look about 4 months pregnant and there is nothing in there

BB - how long is going to take you to get back up and running with the shop? Thieves are horrible horrible people- why would they target an independant shop like yours selling dresses for one of the most important days of peoples lives!!

CD3 for me today and I'm on holiday next week so hopefully all that relaxing will lead to a little suprise

mistlethrush · 20/06/2007 08:51

Kensgirl - I'm ! Still not getting much in the way of cooperation, which makes ttc rather one-sided and futile...

names - perhaps Fi would find 'Muddy Field' better than Tent? At least it sounds slightly more rock star which could be appropriate...

Graysongirl - I went to a Chinese Herbalist and accupuncturist in Leeds which I think might have helped. The Jade Centre in case you feel like a short trip up the road.

Baby - are you getting things sorted out? Do you know if the insurance will cover it all yet? Who ever did it will probably go to one of those sale events where everything is cut-price but you don't have any choice or service.

PinkMartini · 19/06/2007 23:50

don't you find it exhausting changing name all the time nomore?

nomoremagnolia · 19/06/2007 20:48

have a look at this
I'm bearof... when I go onto 'real' mn, have some friends on mn who I don't want to find me in the ttc section!

kensgirl · 19/06/2007 20:36

Hi all, Hope you are all ok! PM and Nomore - I have the same belly issues... only I prefer to think its just womanly [pah! who am I kidding}.

Cd 12 for me today, busy time of the month, and i must say I am very impressed (even though I sayso myself) with my dedication to the daily duties .

see ya later

BabyBratt · 19/06/2007 19:28

Good evening all,

What a day it is very surreal having a shop that is empty, I am trying not to get angry with the people who stole our dresses.

Gracie keep your chin up, believe me I know that is easier said than done but I've been trying for 7 months for my 1st so you are in good company and discovering MN was the best thing to happen to me. It took alot of pressure off DH because I can chat to you lot.

Graysongirl I will hunt out that name for you it was my business partner who was telling me about her because she to was trying for a baby and she is now 8 weeks pregnant. She is from Sheffield aswell.

Fi I hope you have a lovely time at Glasto!!!

Treenie I have a friend who does not adopt the 80/20 rule and she is a nightmare when we invite her around for dinner. That is why I advocate the more relaxed approach.

I hope everyone else is ok, I cannot believe how much you miss when you are away from MN for a few hours.

nomoremagnolia · 19/06/2007 19:06

Treenie - I think it's lovely to have a 'reason' behind your kids names, but don't think it has to be where baby was conceived if it doesn't 'fit'. 'Back seat of the car' is not a good name! (nor is 'tent at glasto', fi!!)

nomoremagnolia · 19/06/2007 19:03

Hi Gracie - sorry you're feeling down, hope you find some support here.
PM - 59 posts in one day - we do talk rather a lot don't we? Glad (?) to hear you're busy, I find that the best way to not think about ttc. Know what you mean about having bit of a belly but no baby - aren't you just looking forward to the day you can secretly smile to yourself cause you know your little tiny baby's growing in there and you can say I'm not fat I'm pregnant! (I am!)

Treenie · 19/06/2007 18:21

You're right Pink Martini. Sometimes there are just too many things to think about aren't there? Go and have a lovely hols and when you come back you will hopefully be preggers and everything else will fall into place.
I've worked out that I'll be ov when we go on hols to france at the end of july so hoping we'll get lucky there. Will need to give it a fab French name - or is that a bit Posh and Becks?! I actually love the name Brooke for a girl.
Anyway, bring on the hols and the bambinos!

PinkMartini · 19/06/2007 18:13

Hi treenie, yes I did see it thanks - should have replied. I am really trying not to obsess over everything atm. TTC, moving, my rather fat tummy which does NOT have a baby in it.

Work is busy atm which is usually good and dh is very very busy. We've got a hol coming up so will discuss a bit more then - hopefully (as well as getting some rest so that dh has got the energy to bd!).

Treenie · 19/06/2007 18:10

Sorry it's ShAtavari - not the best speller in the world!

Treenie · 19/06/2007 18:09

Pink Martini - what happened with the moving thing? Have you decided what to do? Hope you saw the post I left you before we moved over here.

Also I think I mentioned this earlier on somewhere but thought it might be worth saying it again. An auryvadic herb called Shativari was recomended to me by a herbalist because it is meant to be very good for boosting fertility. Haven't taken any yet so can't speak from experience but thought it might be something to think about. Meant to help regulate cycles etc. If anyone is interested you can google it.

FI - can you do some running for me too?

I know its not for #1 and that I really shouldn't be on this thread, but have fingers crossed for all of you and want to keep up with how everyone's doing! And its probably about 12mths since we stopped 'actively' preventing after ds, so could do with some extra luck.

Have fun, but remember to keep the noise down!

Gracie14 · 19/06/2007 15:46

Hi Fifi

I hope I haven't missed you, could you do abit of running for me too.

Been TTC my first for the last 8 months, and don't seem to be getting anywhere

graysongirl · 19/06/2007 14:23

Hello All,
at you going to Glasto fifilou!!!! Grrrrr I hate working in a school sometimes, can get no extra time off for fun things like that. I am a total cynic about religious/spiritual things but you might as well run a few laps for me while you're there !!! Please feel free to leave me out if you have fallen over in in a daze by then though.

Had my blood test yesterday but won't know anything for a few weeks, doc was lovely though so feeling good.

Hi babybratt! Do you know the name of the reflexologist in Sheffield? Thats where I live so would be really useful.
Thanks x
