Anyone else starting the two week wait?

We dtd Monday morning and now the two week wait. Not that hopeful as I feel I was one day too late. But it was during the 48 window of the static smile face. Second day though. Anyone else just about to start or at the beginning of the 2 week wait? How are you keeping busy?

Yeah I'd prefer it to just hit me full on than dilly dally with it! I'm giving it til Saturday...

Annoyingly when ttc this spotting seems to happen to more people and confuse us more! In the past I’ve had such ultra light spotting I was convinced it must be implantation until finally after 4 days my period showed. I was so annoyed. So now I know better. But at least my body isn’t okay tricks on my like last time! This time it’s increased more after a day so I’m not left wondering!

@starkid give it a couple if days and hopefully you will know either way. I had implantation bleeding with my first 2 kids but not with last miscarriage pregnancy. Was just a bit if spotting about 3 days before period was due.

I'm not a huge drinker but we are visiting family the week before Xmas and it would look very odd if I didn't have fizz. Will just have to wait and see I suppose.

@starkid me too but my body did this to me last month for three days before period finally started. I was so up and down as kept thinking I had a chance. Hope af comes quick this month

Guys, I'm so confused... apart from the smallest spot of blood when I wiped this morning, still no AF! How long do you think I should leave it before testing again? Give AF another couple of days to show up?
I never usually have spotting except a few hours before AF shows, so not sure if it's normal for it to take so long to eventually turn to full on period (Can you tell I'm desperate and grasping haha)

I enjoy my wine, so its difficult for me to stop, unless of course I have a reason like I am pregnant! I am slightly tempted to hold it off so I can celebrate xmas properly and we are going skiing, so obviously if I am pregnant, I would not be skiing. But I will go ahead and try as I don't want to wait longer.

Defo will be trying, i don't drink either so not a problem. It was only my first try for my first (didn't even dtd more than I should have) also don't even know my cycle properly so won't be getting my hopes for this next month!

those of you who think AF is starting will you carry on trying as normal this next cycle? I'm tempted to take a month out due to Christmas, just to avoid having tonexplain to extended family why I'm not drinking if I was too get my BFP.

I got positive OPK 3rd November and then another one today (8th Nov) but only managed to DTD yesterday and today, Not sure where I stand as I have 2 positives on different days. AF due 19th November

I'll keep fingers crossed for all xx

Yep I thought I had figured out the difference but perhaps not...

I know it won't be implantation bleeding as too close to my normal cycle.

Won't be able to try again until May!

OneMoreWish, I notice with those tests, there is always an indent mark. Sorry to hear you also have started spotting. I have been googling implantation bleeding with the hopes that it could be that and wishful thinking. But I know its not implantation as I have never had that before!

Anyway, I am now going to focus on trying next month. And this time I will dtd more then once and at the right times!!! Good luck!

I also tested today 9dpo def a negative. I really should have just left it til the weekend and used a FR like I said I was going to!

I caved and tested at 9dpo.

Something came up v v v faint within the timeframe. At first I thought was pink but now it's dry I'm not sure. Also difficult to take a photo to share

Hi, I'm guessing after I had some spotting around 6 days after suspected ovulation. Tbh it's all a slight guess on my part!

Well still no AF, and I was certain it would be today when I woke up feeling so shit. No stomach ache anymore but still rather sore/swollen boobs.

I guess I'll test again Friday if still no show, as would be CD30, 11 dpo and 6 days post implantation. Cycle usually 28-31 days long.
Wish I had the will power to leave it til my period was like a week late before I tested, but I don't haha

Have only got internet cheapies or Asda tests so might treat myself to some first response ones as well (but just use the internet cheapies still for now!)

I would just get first response. Two tests for like 7 pounds. They are reliable and if you really want to make sure not to waste, test day before period due or day of or day after. Good luck!
