TTC Baby No.2 <3

Just letting everyone know I got my bfp a couple of weeks ago. Feeling amazing had a real funny period last month so hoping it was implantation bleeding as got an extremely faint positive around the time I should have ovulated this month and a strong positive 3 days before my missed period. So fingers crossed I'm closer to 9 weeks and not 5

Going for an early scan to confirm but super excited. So to anyone who has had an early miscarriage there is hope. This pregnancy is nothing like the mc no bleeding and heavy positive line so I'm confident it will go full term

@Kaye03 sorry for the late reply I've turned my notifications off because I'm trying not to stress about ttc.

So sorry to hear you mc it's horrible. Are you still bleeding? Is your dp offering lots of support? Nothing I can say will make you feel better I know but getting out the house having a drink with friends really helps, just talking to someone about it reduces the burden I think.

When I mc all I could think about was trying to get pregnant again because that would make it all better but now I realise that was dumb and I'm glad that it's taking me a few months. Taking a little break to clear your head doesn't do any harm you've been through a lot

I took preg test, got bfp. Cant believe it!

Oh that’s good news. I’m 7+1 today on LMP dates but I might be a day or two ahead of that based on when I think I ovulated. Symptoms aren’t as bad as they were a couple of weeks ago, which I should be grateful for but it just makes me anxious that something is amiss. It feels a long way to the 12 week scan. I had an early scan last time round because I had pain on one side so they checked for a potential ectopic.

MeghanV07 how did your scan go? Sorry, I’ve only just seen your last post from before Christmas

@Mummagiles, af showed the day after that message and has been on and off for a week now. Keep thinking it’s stopping, then it starts again.

I’ve already spoken to GP over fertility issues with DD and he said give it till February to let my cycles settle down, then go back and they’ll do checks to see if I’m ovulating if I don’t conceive by then.

Haven’t tried to BD since then, so going to wait till af stops and try again, if it hurts again I’ll book an appointment with the GP.

From all my googling if it is an ovarian cyst they would normally do a watch and wait for 2-3 months anyway to see if it goes away on its own before doing anything further.

I don’t want to rush to get investigations prematurely as chances are it’s more than likely related to weaning.

@doomkittycleo sorry to hear that. Is it worth a trip to the GP to get it investigated?

@doomkittycleo that sounds painful! Hopefully your cycle settles down and you ovulate next time round. You never know, maybe AF won’t actually show.

Hi all, af is due tomorrow and I’m fairly sure she’s on her way. I had some pain during BD on 8DPO, it felt like my cervix was really low. I put up with it at first, but it got so bad that I started to feel faint so we had to stop.

Afterwards I lay down for a minute then “sorry for TMI” I got the urge to go for a poo. It was a normal poo, but there was a bit of gas behind it.

From googling the symptoms it looks like I might have had an ovarian cyst (which is apparently fairly common after weaning from breastfeeding). Which means I likely geared up to ovulate, but didn’t.

I’ve read that some large ovarian cysts can put pressure on the bowel, so perhaps thats what happened.

I feel much better today now af is due and I’ve had some ewcm today (which I used to get before af before having my DD, so pretty sure it’s my usual sign of af impending).

Hopefully next month I might actually ovulate. Shame, as we BD’d so much this month.

@MeghanV07 I can understand why you’re anxious but all pregnancies are different so try not to worry. My nausea came and went last time around. Maybe you just won’t have it as bad this time! How far along are you now?

Thanks @MeghanV07 I’m feeling ok, pretty crampy (had forgotten that from last time round) but when that eases I’m not too bad. How are you feeling?

Thanks. I did another test this morning and it was positive. Wanted to be certain as have a work Christmas party at the end of the week 🙈 not sure how I’m going to navigate that but it’s a nice problem to have

Congratulations mumma! 9dpo is early for a line, it'll get stronger. With my son I got a negative at 10dpo and had a load to drink 🙈 didn't get a positive until 13DPO

@MummaGiles a line is a line no matter how faint that sounds like a positive to me!
