Morning ladies, about 10DPO today and done a FRER - am I seeing things?!

She reassured me about the positive tests (I've had 6) and said a positive is a positive.

She tried to ring the EPU but there was no answer so she said she would keep trying and let me know. She thinks they will want to scan me because of my history. Just can't get my head around the positive test this morning.

It's hard isn't it because if you hadn't have bled you'd just be assuming bfp.
I suppose just keep testing and /or go to GP

I've had no pain at all. With the ectopic I had cramps from about 3 weeks before I found out my tube was rupturing but no cramps with this at all. Not even with the bleed which is what made me do the test. The bleeding came right when my period was due as well. No idea what to make of this?

Yes can see the line, make sure you get seen if you get any pain, fingers crossed its not ectopic and a normal healthy positive! X

I have just about stopped bleeding so took another pregnancy test and it's positive. This is an IC test and these were all negative before. Seriously thinking this is another ectopic.

Thank you Star. I will be making a doctors appointment tomorrow. My boobs have just started hurting today (never had pregnancy symptoms with ectopic) but if it was CP wouldn't these be getting better not worse!

That's very stressful. Keep an eye out for stabbing pain and shoulder pain. Fx it's just a rough start and all comes good soon!

This is horrible. I did another test this afternoon - I had drunk two cups of tea and some orange juice and got another faint BFP. It was lighter than the one I got yesterday evening (but I hadn't drank anything yesterday as I had a migraine) but darker than the faint BFP I got yesterday morning. Accepting this definitely isn't going to stick but worried sick it's actually an ectopic.

That sounds positive, it's horrible that really it's a waiting game, just see how the next few days go and hopefully the lines will get clearer. Fingers crossed xx

Sounds like it's still positive, then. I had an ectopic too, in June, and that sort of thing remains a constant worry, doesn't it? Hope all does smoothly for you this time!

On Friday and Saturday I used FMU.

The BFN this morning was at 3:30 then when I tested again just before 8 had a faint BFP. Quite concerned as I've had an ectopic before.

As others have said, it's got a lot to do with when you test. The most reliable way is to test with FMU, or after a long time of not going to the loo. That gives you the highest concentration of hormones as far as I understand. So it's possible to have a faint positive first thing and a BFN late at night on not a very full bladder. The packet these tests come from should make a difference.

This is driving me mad. The first two tests were from the same box.
I have just taken another FRER and a faint BFP - the BFN and this one were from the same box.
So confused right now.
