Oooo exciting!! My scan last week said DD 4th Oct so very close. I’m hoping it’ll be end of Sept in the end as that is my fiancé and I’s anniversary 💓

Euch I had a DVT back in 2015 after being on the pill for 20 years and taking 20 long haul flights in a year (that’ll do it!). Hence now I have to take the fragmin for so long 👎 I inject myself xxx

@Sunshineblonde1 oh wow, fragmin is sticking around for a while then - do you do it yourself? My husband has to do it, I can't pierce myself 😭 How come you gotta do that till after birth? Yeah! We probably do- according to the calculators I am due 6th Oct but the dating scan should say more accurately when I will be due. xx

Oh wow @nixwix those results come quick then I had no idea. Mine will be any day now then 😱 cripes! I was expecting longer. I’ve been fine with the pessaries - no bother at all. Your right I must up my water though, I went off any kind of water for a while and had to revert to sparkling. It’s the fragmin that gets me. I hate doing it and have to until 6 weeks after birth 🤡

Mine's on 25th of March. The harmony test results took 3 working days, came back on the 4th working day. So not too long. The wait was still killing me. Are you looking forward to the 12 week scan? I cannot wait to stop fragmin and wean off pred at 12 w. I have to continue with progesterone applications till 16 w. Ooh constipation - water and lots of fibre. Although spicy food did the trick for me 😅 I hope the pessaries are less annoying now? xx

My constipation has only just kicked in eck! I thought I’d got away with it. I’m embracing the whiskers 😝I’ve got the twelve week scan booked on the 28th March , when is yours? ?🤞🤞 best of luck for it. Then you can wean off the Pred hurrah!!!!

@Sunshineblonde1 I'm feeling alright, no more constipation and random nausea today but not so much usually. I had my nuchal test results back on Friday, didn't opt for sex reveal. They have come back low risk 🙌🏼😅
Hopefully you will hear your good news soon too maybe tomorrow actually! I have gained a kilo but my face is so much rounder - hate it. Oh and totes get what you mean by hair growth - my face has so much hair now and I am just very hairy all over 😂 when's your next appointment at Dr S' clinic - I'm guessing it's the 12 week scan with the Prof? I have a scan with my hospital on Friday and if I think it's not thorough enough, I'll keep my 12 week scan booked with the Prof at Dr S' clinic. Xxxx

Hey @UnicornDust17 I feel your pain. My tummy is black and blue at times. I use Arnica sparingly, but can thoroughly recommend Mama Mio Tummy Rub. It seems to work wonders on the bruising and I prefer to use it as I know it’s 💯 pregnancy safe. Hope all is well with you x

Hey @nixwix 👋 all good thank you lovely 🤗 just waiting for the results of the Nuchals and Sex test now 🤞 Nausea has died down a bit. How are you feeling?? I’ve put on a little bit of timber, around 5 lbs, and got a whisker or two - my brows are uncontrollable, totally unusual for me 😜 thanks Pred!! I’ll have to put the threading lady to work on those tomorrow - she can wrestle the feckers out.....

@DaniMERL Yes to time intercourse better and make sure that I’m 100% ovulating and he said to take pressure of me. I’m not sure if this is worth it to be honest Xx

@megan234 I don’t really understand - is it a sort off cross between superO and going totally natural? Is the benefit of the trigger just so you can time Intercourse better?

I'm so sorry @Sunshineblonde1 I didn't get an update. I've never used arnica but that's a good idea. I may ask as I've got some horrible bruises....

@DaniMERL It’s so expensive. I didn’t take the tables because Mr S said that I don’t need them, I’m doing it naturally but with the injection. I had one follicle yesterday and I need to inject myself on Tuesday. Good luck lovely x

@Megan234 I saw a lady and it cost £460 including the trigger shot. There were 2 follicles. I have to test on Tues 19th xx

@DaniMERL Hope you are well and good luck this month🤞 I saw Mr S last week and he suggested natural stimulated cycle for me. I went for a scan yesterday with someone else as Mr S wasn’t available and they charged me another consultant fee and the cost of the scan. Did you have to pay for a scan as well as consultation when you went to see them on the 9th day of your cycle? Xx

@nixwix I really wouldn’t worry as they stay in your system - don’t forget how long it takes to wean off them. I think the advice is to not take any extra to make up for it and to just carry on as normal. You could always check with the clinic though x

A very quick question. Does anyone know what happens if I forget my dose of Prednisolone for one day? I may have forgotten yesterday, I cannot seem to remember. And I took them late in the evening today. I am super scared that I have put my pregnancy at risk.

I have a question re:Fragmin, do you know if it’s ok to use Arnica cream on bruising? The nurses recommended it but when I bought some from H+B it says not to use when pregnant 🙄

Hello, just thought I'd post a small update. I was briefly on the last thread (but forgot my password then lost the thread) so wasn't on it for very long.

I'm currently 19 weeks and all looking good so far. Fingers firmly crossed!

I have been on Mr S plan (steroids, progesterone, Fragmin, omega 3, vitamin D, vits and aspirin) for high killer cells and sticky blood following multiple times MCs..

I've finished steroids and progesterone and 1 week left of aspirin. 🤞🤞 20 week scan next week.. Just trying to dodge the chicken pox which seems to be spreading around our local area with a vengeance...!

I haven't read TFT yet, but will go back and do so... Congrats to all those with good news and many positive/sticky vibes to you all..

Thanks @nixwix 💗 we’ve got some big milestones coming up haven’t we with the Nuchal and Harmony. I personally would just have those tests done once as what difference would it really make doing it twice. They will be the same result. I’m just sticking with Dr S. He has been tracking my thyroid too. He does like to be in control of that stuff when you are under his care which I can understand. When’s your next scan/harmony?

Those 2D/3D scans are flipping incredible!! Gold plated haha! He’s got some pretty nifty tech hasn’t he. He was so excited by the scan he practically skipped back to his desk, with us skipping in tow lol! It was nice to see 😃

I agree, I felt quite lonely with what I was experiencing before I found this thread ! I have told two select best friends and family who have been supportive and my gym teacher who has to know and is so sweet as she pretends to the class she is making adjustments due to a ‘lower back pain’ issue rather than shouting out that I’m pregnant.
