Two week wait - help keep me sane!

Hi ladies,

I have been TTC for four months now. I actually didn't realise how stressful this whole experience is. I shouldn't have expected for it to happen straight away but i'm so impatient.

Anyway, would love to see who else is out there to join me on my TWW. I used CB ovulation tests this month and dtd the day before ovulation. I had an HSG last month and my tubes are all clear so that's good to know.

I am only about 2dpo. Obviously no symptoms the only thing worth mentioning is I have been getting these weird gurgling/popping noises in my stomach. It's SO strange I've never had this before. Maybe it's because I'm drinking lots of pineapple juice which I never normally do, who knows! What are you all doing to keep yourself occupied and not obsessing over this tww?!

I've booked my first acupuncture session this Friday so hopefully that will help de-stress me! Good luck to you all, would love to hear your stories x

@Houseplantinvasion its not over yet!! Its much easier emotionally to just wait for AF to turn up without the early testing but you really do have to be in the right mindset. This month ive had itchy feet since 3dpo its terrible. AF due next thursday so if I get to sunday it will be a miracle!!

I’ve just tested this morning on a FRER and bfn. I’m 8dpo and I reckon that with as strong as my “symptoms” have been, if I was pg then it should show up on a test now! So I guess it’s probably all in my head...again Blush. Still, AF not actually due until Monday or Tuesday so it is ridiculously early!

When will you test @closedcircuit? Are you going to be sensible and wait?!

@Tisfortired hugs really sorry to hear that. I hope you get a sticky bean really soon. It can be so disappointing.

@Houseplantinvasion wow tons of symptoms for you!! Hope they lead up to that BFP. I usually look out for loads of symptoms and have a million and one before AF arrives. This time nothing. I'm hoping it's a good thing for me!

@sav89 ahh its so crappy to see a negative test even if you know its too early. Im at 7dpo today but we can still be at the implantation stage. I hope it turns into a BFP for you Flowers

Im out ladies 🙈 arrived last night ! Bit gutted but I guess I can't be too disappointed, was only the first month trying. Fingers crossed for Next month !

@ReginaPhalange89 Hmm yeah i see what you mean. Just odd your AF hasn't turned up yet! Deffo keep on testing. I did one today and got a bfn. Not looking good for this month although am only 7-8dpo.

@Tisfortired sorry to hear AF is on the way.

I am 7dpo and have loads of symptoms, really sore tingly boobs, a few cramps, feeling nauseous, backache, and funny taste in my mouth! However, I’ve been utterly convinced previously due to having loads of “symptoms” and AF always arrived right on time, so I’m not getting my hopes up yet. Plus it’s crazy early to be feeling anything so is probably all in my head anyway Blush

I think I'm out - in getting AF type back pain and some brown tinged discharge earlier which always comes a day or two before AF :( onto cycle 14.

@sav89 the tests are cheap "one step" tests from Amazon that someone recommended , they're the ones in the sticks rather than the strips, yesterday I had a faint faint line so dipped a frer and nothing on the frer! 🙈 I got another super faint line on the other cheapy this morning but I didn't have another frer

Frers are supposed to be really sensitive so I'm assuming if I was then I'd have gotten a result with one ? So I'm just assuming the faint lines are evaps ! They're quite hard to see, hard to tell if there's even any colour . I'll wait a few more days if AF doesn't turn up. I'd expect darker lines at this point, 15 days after ovulating ! Unless I didn't implant til late, I'm not sure how it works 🙈

ReginaPhalange89 Omg your still not on andddd your getting faint positives...I think you might be pregnant! I've done so many pg tests and never had faint lines (except for the time I was pregnant). Never had evap lines and I've done a lot of tests. Are you using FRER?

AF hasn't arrived for me yet ! I am so impatient, if it's going to come I just want it over with. Due today so it'll probably come but it's usually here when I wake in the morning . Very very faint lines yesterday and today, so faint I assume evap but the wait is killing me 🙈

Lauraliverpool if your AF started today you are on cd1 so i would say go in 14 days from today :) I'm guessing he wants you to do it around or just after ovulation

Sav89 thank you 😘 I got a blood test form for projesterone last month and still haven't been the doctor put my cycle at 21 days and I think said for me to go on cycle day 14 but this month has been a 25 day cycle when would I be best to go for it? X

@TwinkleDay omg!! I'm due the 29th of June!! Yeah me too, I can't believe it still ..it gets kind of draining after 30 months of trying!! Iv been trying for nearly 2 and a half years, how about you? I'd love a buddy to chat to, it's all mixed emotions just now, full of excitement but then the fear takes over! How about you? Xx

@Dianebz1 oh wow congratulations! Your actually the first person to ask me that, hopefully end of june 28th ish. How about you, I’m still in shock faze tbh. How long were you TTC for? I could do with a buddy, not made my way over to another board yet.

Tisfortired yeah I'm lucky that our DS is still only 16 months (did only want a year between them, naively thought it be easy again)

I suppose at 7dpo though you might not have even implanted yet so hopefully that will happen and your preAF symptoms will go. FX!

BFP expected on Halloween for me haha so really will be a trick or treat!

@TwittleBee hello, and sorry to hear you've been trying for over a year too, so disheartening isn't it. I am trying to remain positive but the main thing that worries me is the gap between DS and future baby is getting bigger and bigger.

I have also had awful back pain and been unable to sleep past couple of days which is same for me every month in the run up to AF.

When are you due AF/BFP?

Hello all, do you mind if I join?

I am 7dpo, AF due on 24/10. We dtd 3 times over my peak days so hoping for the best.

Already have DS5 and have been trying now since September 2017. I am really beginning to feel like it will never happen.
