Hey Lethargic! Happy new year to all. Sending you all the good vibes for your test, keep us posted!
A hycosy is when they shoot saline up a catheter into your cervix, and it flushes through your fallopian tubes and out again. It's checking for blockages. All good results, no issues at all, so that's great. They did find a tiny polyp in my womb which my specialist isn't worried about so we're still thinking that my issues are in implantation and its an immune system thing.

After two months off, trying naturally but no success, I'm gearing up for my next frozen embryo transfer at the end of the month. They'll start all the monitoring of bloods and scans to check my lining and where i am ovulation wise, then will stick an embryo in at 5dpo. I'm having a bunch of other drugs like blood thinners, immune booster (intralipid) infusion and the progesterone pessaries after transfer so fingers crossed. I'm in a MUCH better place mental health wise to cope with things at the moment (doing loads of exercise, which helps!), so plan to just go through the remaining 3 embryos one after another and then take stock. I have hope but I'm not expecting it to work if you know what I mean?

How's everyone else doing? Xx

Oh GOD Mammy that's so awful, why is she behaving this way? As if you need any more stress to deal with. I'm so sorry. Please ger DH on the case, distance yourself from her and look after yourself while you recover. Let us know how you get on.

My update is that I've had my hycosy which was pretty much fine, my tubes are both looking good but they found a small polyp, so not sure what that means. I had quite a big one removed last november so looks like another one has grown in that year and I need to speak to my fc to see whether I need more surgery or if I should risk another frozen embryo transfer in January. I really don't fancy more surgery but I did bleed from ovulation to af last month which is a symptom of polyps. Ugh! So we'll see. I'll speak to my fc today so I'll keep you updated.

In other news I've started a new interval training class which I'm going to religiously and I'm feeling REALLY good. Off you fuck infertility depression, I'm exercising you away! And I'm looking great. So there. It's not all shit.

Mammyofasuperbaby · 18/12/2018 18:36

Well I'm absolutely furious with my mil. Just hours after finding out we'd lost our baby she was ringing people saying that my dated don't add up and I'm lying about being pregnant. She won't apologize and is now acting as if she is the victim and I'm in the wrong.
HOW FUCKING DARE SHE!!!! She is beyond cruel and is preventing us grieving.
Why do people do things like this Sad

sodababy2 · 18/12/2018 18:21

@Mammyofasuperbaby I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. No words really but I hope you have lots of support in real life xx

Lovely to hear from you @Catren and it sounds tentatively positive that they may have found a reason for your chemicals? I really hope your hycosy went ok and your next transfer is the one that becomes your baby.

Waves to everyone else. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a baby-filled 2019!!

MeghanV07 · 17/12/2018 09:00

@Mammyofasuperbaby I am so sorry lovely. Thinking of you and your DP in this horrid time. That's so lovely of the hospital to do. Please take time to recover ❤️

Mammyofasuperbaby · 16/12/2018 19:40

Thank you ladies. The nurse at the hospital was lovely. She was so kind and was nearly crying with us. We have been given a small memory box and a plaque in the garden of remembrance with Harleys name and date of birth.
Harley is going to be cremated with the other babies who died this month and the ashes spread in the remembrance garden.

LethargicButAwesome · 16/12/2018 16:25

OH @mammy heart breaking, no words - you must be so upset. So sorry....I know it's awful but atleast you know you can conceive, and maybe when you have had time to rest you can have another try .....

Catren · 16/12/2018 04:53

I'm so sorry mammy that's awful news. Harley is a beautiful name. I hope you can rest up and look after yourself for a bit. Sending hugs and cake xx

Mammyofasuperbaby · 15/12/2018 19:11

I've lost my baby Sad
I had bleeding for a week and passed the pregnancy last night .
We've decided to name the baby Harley so it that's a name

Mammyofasuperbaby · 13/12/2018 14:28

That's good news catren
I've had my scan and it was inconclusive so they took bloods.
I have my dates between 5+2 weeks and 6+5.
They said that they couldn't see anything but me and dp are sure we saw a dark oval shape in my uterus and the Dr did measure it. So no idea what's going on there.
I have to go back on Saturday for a repeated blood test and should find out that evening but I'm not hopefull

Catren · 13/12/2018 02:30

Hi all, so sorry to be silent recently. Mammy such exciting news, how are you getting on? Sorry you had a bleed and really hope everything is okay.

How's everyone doing?

My update is that I've had my immune testing plus a whole lot of others done and the upshot is that I'm borderline on the natural killer cells test so will have an intralipid infusion for my next transfer in late January. Annoyingly the timing of my cycle means my next transfer window would be on christmas day and everywhere is shut! Gah. Also the specialist thinks it would be worth having a hy co sy as it's been a year since my lap and she wants to check that my fallopian tubes are all clear in case the surgery messed me up.

So my hycosy was booked at midday for 4pm this afternoon as im at the right time im my cycle so all a bit of a whirlwind.

Im still feeling pretty negative about our chances at this point so numb to any emotions around it.

LethargicButAwesome · 12/12/2018 11:21

Fx - hope it's nothing too serious both my sisters bled in early pregnancy and went on to have healthy happy babies

Congratulations @Mammyofasuperbaby !! No mistaking those lines.

All well here @sodababy2 How are you 22 weeks already? I'm 17 weeks gone, and expecting a little girl 💖

This pregnancy continues to be a bit more stressful than my first; I hope it's not that way for everyone!

Mammyofasuperbaby · 03/12/2018 20:42

That's amazing @sodababy2 glad everything is going well.

TTC baby 2 - Third thread lucky?
Mammyofasuperbaby · 02/12/2018 10:17

You have a point there mayago. I got a positive ovulation test on cd19 and I'm now on cd35 but if I've ovulated later then it just might be super early.
Using a 10u/ml test but the lines definitely have colour to them.
I just want an answer, I was getting very dark lines 2 days before my period was due with my first but according to my tracker app in not due af till 12th January so im a little lost

mayago · 02/12/2018 10:11

Have you tried a FRER @Mammyofasuperbaby ? If it just appeared yesterday, it might be too early to be stressing over progression.
Everything crossed for you!

Mammyofasuperbaby · 02/12/2018 08:38

They aren't getting any darker @mayago, in thinking they are evap lines or a chemical but I'm at the drs tomorrow so I'll ask him then

mayago · 01/12/2018 23:22

Ooh @Mammyofasuperbaby I can see it!! FX this is your BFP 😍
