I can see it too! This place does not have the best technical set up to be fair Wink

Orchid - I read that dhea can be taken throughout the cycle, but might need to confirm that with someone else!

PetraRabbit · 24/10/2018 19:57

I can see the thread fine from the Conception boards. Just a blip?

CritterTamer · 24/10/2018 19:19

I don’t know about that Orchid im sorry.

I do have a question for everyone though - is it just me or has this thread disappeared from the Conception board this afternoon? It’s not showing up at all in the thread list for me and I can only access it via the email link you get when someone posts on it.

Orchid222 · 24/10/2018 18:57

Ladies quick question can we keep taking DHEA during 2ww? It says on it not to take while pg so is it better to stop in case we get a bfp?

Oh sorry Cleo I think I misread your original post (havent had much sleep the last week and a half and got woken by a horrific nightmare at 2am this morning and couldn’t sleep again afterwards😔). Maybe AF will hold off an extra day if you say your cramps have stopped then yo7 could go on Monday 🤞

Cleozeta · 24/10/2018 13:55

Thanks critter, I suspect tomorrow will be cd1, making friday (when they are fully booked) cd2, so Monday would be cd5. Local hospital is not that local (we are in the middle of 2 and I don't drive). Think it'll have to wait

CritterTamer · 24/10/2018 13:50

Sorry I missed Rose’s post earlier - looks like she already suggested something similar! Totally need to start wearing my glasses more 😁

Cleozeta · 24/10/2018 13:50

Thanks orchid. I think I might just hold off until next month then, unless af arrives today. No signs yet though. All cramping etc has gone.

How is everyone today?

CritterTamer · 24/10/2018 13:48

@Cleozeta my doctors said it was very important the test was done on day 2, 3 or 4. If Friday is day 1 can’t you go in on Mobday? Failing that my local hospital has a walk in blood test unit that you can just drop into at any time without an appointment with your forms and they will do the test for you there and then - much easier than getting an appointment with the surgery nurses. Maybe check if your local hospital does that too?

Orchid222 · 24/10/2018 12:30

Cleo if I remember correctly my gp said cd2-5 were ok

Nice idea rose, unfortunately not really do-able. Maybe I should just wait until next cycle. Not sure I really want to know the answer anyway!! Why do these things always land on a weekend?! Same happened to me last time too, hence the cd5 test

Rose68 · 24/10/2018 10:19

@Cleozeta, sorry I’m not sure about this one.
I had my blood test done at the hospital, as there were no appointments for ages at the doctors. I didn’t need to make an appointment, it’s just turn up, and wait your turn. Could you do that anywhere near you?

Cleozeta · 24/10/2018 10:04

Advice please ladies! I'm supposed to be having my cd3 blood test this week, AF would have been due yesterday but TCM has extended my LP as I though it might. That's great, but it's complicated my cd3 test! So I'm expecting AF to arrive either later today or tomorrow, so I contacted my gp surgery to book the blood test for Friday thinking I would probably be cd2 by then. Fully booked. They can only do tomorrow first thing, so I've booked it, but would cd1 be too early? The next option would be Monday which would be cd5. I did cd5 last time and got an fsh of 18.4 so wondering if that was too late and I got the highest it could have been.
What would you advise if cd 2,3 &4 are not available??

PetraRabbit · 23/10/2018 22:01

Ruski and Lumpy...sorry! :(

Ruski you sound so positive- it is going to happen for you!

BooseysMom · 23/10/2018 19:54

@Shinyblackdog.. Thank you for the new list. I cant believe we're up to 70! Great you're adding the BFPs in there..yes see something about summer helping with ttc

@Russkispy.. Sorry to hear your news.

@Lumpy76 ..welcome back ...sorry to hear about your loss.

Welcome @Everhopeful2018

Russkispy · 23/10/2018 14:49

@CritterTamer , thank you! It's disappointing of course. But must stay positive. It's not a failure but preparing the ground for pregnancy, as it were.

Chatbash72 · 23/10/2018 14:16

Welcome @Everhopeful2018 @Presh12345 There are men's fertility vits they can take and I read that caffeine a couple of times a day is good for sperm.. think there is lots to read on line about for the boys.
Big hugs to everyone xx

littlemimosa · 23/10/2018 14:10

Lumpy and Russ so sorry it’s not good news from you both. Big hugs.

Critter so glad all is going well despite the ohss. Hope it resolves very soon.

Welcome Everhopeful are you ttc your first? Sorry to hear you of your loss.

Just watched the Prof Winston clip that someone posted. Very encouraging for us all. The message really is more sex isn’t it....

CritterTamer · 23/10/2018 13:51

@Russkispy - I’m so sorry to hear this - I had high hopes for you 😢 it’s great that you’re not losing hope though - I remember how shitty and hopeless I felt when our last IVF cycle failed, it’s awful. Good luck with all the preparations for next month.

@Lumpy76 sorry to hear about your loss an£ welcome back to the thread.

Also welcome @Everhopeful2018

Everhopeful2018 · 23/10/2018 12:43

Can I join in? I'm 41, I'm on cycle 3 ttc after a miscarriage at 13 weeks in August. I'm 5po and driving myself crazy.....

Presh12345 · 23/10/2018 12:34

So not long back from the clinic and it looks like it is the male factor that is stopping me getting pregnant. Anyone else managed with a low sperm count?

Russkispy · 23/10/2018 12:09

Thank you ladies. Somehow I thought it wouldn't work as the dominant follicle was on the left. Both my successful IUIs/pregnancies were from the right. Coincidence?
IUI is now booked. Will be flying home on cd10 after taking Clomid.
And potentially IVF in December if IUI doesn't work in November.
I'm determined to get my BFP and successful pregnancy. Again giving my everything each cycle.

Cleozeta · 23/10/2018 09:36

Sorry to hear you had a mmc lumpy. It's such a distressing and upsetting time.
Good to try and focus on other things

Wishing - are you sure it's definitely a chemical? Maybe it isn't.....

WishingonaStar77 · 23/10/2018 09:28

Morning all,
Fairly sure I'm out. Spotting started again but only very light. Ran out of tests so went to shops and picked up the first response rapid results instead of the early detection 😣 but either way there was the same faint faint line on those too.
Really not sure what's going on. I'm pretty certain it's a chemical but why isn't my period starting!! X

Lumpy76 · 23/10/2018 09:04

Hello!! I’m back! CD1 after mmc - 5 weeks to the day. Feeling a bit weird...bittersweet. Glad my body has done the right things but... Also had 2nd birthday of our youngest so that was hard. Trying my very best to be positive about good things (eldest got her first offer from uni). Also trying to go all out on Xmas...
